Yup, nobody warned us either, at least not me, that was my exact reaction hahaha. Like all the content in the internet was about Ai, not only because of the opening song, that became so famous it has 664M views now on yt, but mostly because of the impact of the 1st episode, it was that good.

Spoilers below if you haven't watched yet! Your comment on Ai being the center of the show's attention and media reminds me of how people talked about how that's EXACTLY we'd feel if she died irl! All of that attention and growth, just to be cut in an instant. You could say she shone so brightly, that she even hid the twins being the actual main characters from us. Also, yoasoabi did the iconic intro (played at the end)!

Came here to not be spoil during the live haha I absolutely did not except this, the story was really unpredictable ! The beginning was a bit too weird for me but I’m glad I made it through because now I want to know where this story is going because I truly have no idea. The art is sooo beautiful so I’m glad to have discovered it ! 😍 And all the reality going around the idol industry was kinda heartbreaking… 🥲Honestly hearing that this is Kai fav anime make me wonder how he reacted to this first ep, like, obviously some topics must have hit him close to home… Ai is probably one of the most interesting character I’ve seen in a long time, I would have loved a whole season about her life before the twins 😭

Left the livestream yesterday to watch this and WTF ???? This is so not what I was expecting. SPOILERS : I kept seeing Ai everywhere on social media, so I literally thought this anime was going to be all about her. What do you mean we only get to see her for ONE episode 😭 At one point during the episode I was literally thinking, “Wow, it would be really cool if we got to see more of Aqua’s storyline, with him maybe becoming an actor in the future… but that probably won’t happen since the show is centered around Ai.” And then they gave us THAT ending 😩 Anyway, I’m 100% in for the revenge plot now.
