I feel the same with the YGX situation. Like I get its a competition, but using Yell like that and expecting the other team to copy that exactly was immature imo. Break dancing is not something you learn in a couple of days or weeks, and dancers can get seriously hurt doing it fr.

oh i am actually annoyed LOL want was so much better/more memorable even if ygx’s details were good. they didn’t do the exact choreo because it was literally impossible for them, but they still made that part more interesting to watch IMO. i understand why this is called street woman fighter, because it’s making ME want to fight 😂

oh PD, imma need you to continue this series and watch swf2 and especially wswf (world street woman fighter) because youll get to see teams from different countries compete against each other!! its def my favorite season since its the newest season so the budget for it is so high given how popular the show is now. and it shows so many dance styles, crazy ass battles, and lots of cultural/national identity! also just a cool full circle moment because youll get to see all the leaders from s1 together in one team representing team korea! but not to be biased, team usa still has my heart to this day 😭 if you want crazy good hiphop, look no further than motiv

As a dancer, I see it a little differently. I saw this as “strategy vs. strategy.” If our crew has a “weapon” ofc we’re going to use it, it’s a survival show. They used YELL as part of their strategy. YGX already knew they could get eaten up by WANT in the popular vote, they made sure WANT couldn’t easily copy their choreo which is what the mission about. And I don’t think it’s fair to call it immature when WANT also “strategically” voted YGX as the worst dancer for a choreo made by YGX. But I kinda agree w PD that the GAP is craaaaazy. WANT looked down on B-girling and said "YELL can't dance" "I never saw B-girl who's good at dancing" and if we based it on that argument, YELL did the DANCING (wc is they said she's not good at) as part of the mission. so i think it's fair for WANT to do the B-girling too.
