I kind of agree with you on this album. I genuinely like all of the songs and I LOVE crescendo, loud and heavy serenade but something about the album as whole felt like it was missing something or it was a part of a bigger whole. All of their EPs/albums are so so amazing, its only in comparison that I can say this about Heavy Serenade EP

I really liked this album and the songs but tbh I have been more drawn to the le sserafim album recently. Compared to BV and even forward it seem like something is missing.

It takes me many listens over weeks to absorb NMIXX songs and figure out what I truly feel about them. But right now LOUD has really connected with me like no other.

the way i feel when the outro of LOUD starts and the 'gorgeous gorgeous girls' line kicks in and the instrumental comes to a climax... i was literally speechless the first time I heard it. LOUD is my pride month anthem. Lily is such an amazing lyricist like idk how she captured the feeling of queer love and joy so well in that song but it almost brings me to tears. i don't like to speculate about idols' sexualities but i would be very surprised if she isn't at leasssst a little bit fruity lmao I love her :')

So interesting, this is actually my favourite Nmixx ep! And Ideserveit is my favourite of the new tracks hahaha, I find the chorus very satisfying to sing along to. Usually I will be obsessed with a couple songs and like the others but not listen to them much. This album I have had on every single day and thoroughly enjoy every song, it’s the first time I love their ep as a complete piece. Maybe I just need to flog the other ep’s as much as I have this one because it does take a bit of listening to get them in my head. On loop the transition from loud back to crescendo feels very full circle. It also makes me feel like I’ve travelled through time and the songs have an added layer on the 2nd round. Perhaps with what you said about it feeling a continuation of blue valentine this is just more my taste, their emotional songs are particularly my favourite. I didn’t know Lily had written loud but it makes so much sense!! I could feel her presence so strongly not just because she’s an English speaker. Hope you can watch the live stages and stage practices!

i kinda agree with you, but i feel like it was the right thing to do to have a continuation of the blue valentine project - due to the success of BV but also because they only had a couple weeks to promote between legs of their tour. it would've sucked to have something super innovative and groundbreaking that didn't get to live out it's potential because of poor timing. this felt more like something put together to fill the gap which makes sense to me
