At the start this song, concept and MV felt overwhelming to me but by the end it had me fully invested and sucked in. Now I'm obsessed with this EP. Btw even the slide shot was a practical set, they said so in their own MV reaction. They tried to make it look like AI but with real shots, so cool. Also when asked about the classical sample, Ella said she hopes and believes that "Bach sunbaenim would've liked and danced along with the song" 😂😭

I think you will enjoy the Bite Now EP. I have to admit, there was no need to add Burning Up here, because the tracklist makes sense and most of the songs lean into each other really well and there is nothing I would comment on as on the previous EP in this regard. (Maybe just some tracks are like you could switch their order and it would have been the same (the last two)). BUT! If I was asked to add Burning Up somewhere I would recommend playing Burning Up AFTER In My Hands. If there was not Hit ‘Em, I can imagine Burning Up being as the first track of the EP before DDI RO RI, but Hit ‘Em sets the proper tone for this EP. So playing Burning Up AFTER In My Hands (third track) sounds the best and keeping the vision of EP

I am OBSESSED with this MV, my jaw was on the floor the entire time. THIS is the MEOVV we've been waiting for. And as a lifelong violinist and a music minor in college the Bach sample is just *chef's kiss* I love it so much!

the sample is Toccata and Fugue in D Minor by Bach! it's definitely associated with its use in horror films/media. Enhypen's knife also used an organ in its instrumental that felt like a (less literal) reference to it. and side comment, this MV is so visually stunning every frame feels like its own art piece

You should watch their choreo for Hit Em. They are going soooo hard. The choreo for the title track is strong too. I am also wondering if we'll see more 60+ fps MVs after this. MEOVV may have started something 😆 In terms of girl groups this is one of my top comebacks of the year. It just comes across as a complete, sophisticated project and builds on the sound they've been curating. Plus I just love the vocal tones of the members. I'm not sure their songs would sound as interesting if the vocals weren't there.
