I wish you could watch the fancans of all these songs. What really is astonishing to me is that SHINee performed all new songs in their concert. Like ofcourse they have confidence in their performances, I mean daa it's SHINee. But when you have their discography (let's be honest only they can have it) I don't know how you make the concert setlist. Because every fan wants to hear a different song, and in SHINee's case their really big hits all combined will outnumber setlists. And they decided to sing all 6 of the new songs. I mean ofcourse it will be good. But to sustain the cohesivenss in concert set list the way they do and pull off all kinds of experiments they want to. Only SHINee. Highly recommend checking out all the fancans. Hours Team and Possibility Onew will be really delightful surprises. They all are just incredible. Legends for a reason.

i had the same emotionally overwhelming feeling listening to them make music with just as much passion and heart as they were ten and fifteen years ago 😭😭😭 there’s no other group like them in kpop period. Did just want to tell you their activities as a group are still managed by SM, and Key and Minho both have continued their exclusive solo contracts with SM as well, just Onew and Taemin have chosen to take their solo careers elsewhere, but its worth noting that they had a huge amount of autonomy over this comeback as senior artists (eg. skipping music show promotions largely and variety shows in favor of concerts w/ fans).

I just know that this album would make you cried! I can sense it! LOL Anyway, this album is so, so amazing. I just know when I watched their concert and heard these songs for the first time that I FUCKING NEED TO BUY AND HAVE THIS ALBUM!!! hahaha. My most fav song is Possibility. but all the songs in the album are so good that I even don't have a least fav LOL. By the way, this year concert is just the first of their Trilogy set. so if we think that they would release an album per concert, we still have two more awesome albums to hope for. This year is their 18th anniversery, so I think it would be the most extraordinary at their 20th? (doesn't mean that their 19th would be any dull though, SHINee have always be extra anyway lol) About your comment that Jonghyun would be proud of them, YES OF COURSE! SHINee's always be something that he proud of. some TMI for you, SHINee has been asked on the radio show that if they're go back in time, would they still choose to become SHINee. and Jonghyun answered that he would, but only if the members are still the same as they are now. SHINee's members are family to each other. the other four members keep go on as a group to carry on Jonghyun's dream and his legacy as an artist too. until today, other members never said that they're four members group. SHINee's always be FIVE. so they can't let their other brother down (and never will) , right? :)

OMG THANK YOU PD. I have been waiting all month for this reaction. My faves are Anti-Believer and Hours, but all of them are 11/10 songs for sure. I love being on this journey of falling in love with SHINee together with you. It's like reliving my own first times when I heard these songs and rediscovering the joy of what made me fall in love with their music. On their own the members are already such phenomenal artistes, but it just isn't the same as when they're together as one unit, they shine that much brighter. I can't wait for your reactions for SHINee World concerts and the rest of their discography!

So happy you’re now a shawol, PD I’ll keep saying it :D This album to me is what shinee is in general, refreshing. They’re always so refreshing like a cool drink of water on a hot day. The S in SHINee stands for SUMMER!! Honestly, I loved all the songs but Thousand Miles Away is my favorite. Their ballads are always so beautiful, it’s really where you can hear that extra effort they put into their msuic, as you said.

SHINee likes to say that the group was built by fate, and just like the group itself, I feel like fans also find them by fate. I found them back in 2012 during a really difficult period of my life as well, and despite that difficulty persisting for years, I still look at those years as some of my fondest because SHINee made me so happy. I even got the chance to see all 5 of them in concert once and spoke with Jonghyun and thanked them for their music. As an artist myself (painter), their work inspires me beyond words and I still can't believe I somehow found a group that holds itself to such a high standard of artistry, that has members who shine so bright individually with heart's of gold. Sometimes I wish they were more recognized and appreciated for their work among the public, but I also think it's good that they're able to hold onto artistic integrity. As for the Atmos album, I think it's one of the best albums they've ever released. I really miss Jonghyun's voice in their music, and it actually took me a long time to even listen to their new releases after he left, but this was the first album where I felt like I could listen to it without such a heavy heart. It's an album that carries the complete essence of SHINee, and I also feel like the members still carry Jonghyun's influence through their new music. I think he would be proud, too. I certainly feel proud as a fan. We got confirmation at their most recent concert that they're going to be having group activities again next year and in 2028 for their 20th anniversary, so SHINee isn't going anywhere anytime soon!

As a Toddler Shawol, I felt like this album took us back to the roots of SHINee! I absolutely adored every song and could hear the boys telling us that they will always be with us and give us their best. Every member appreciates the relationship between artist and fan and they always over serve us! My favorite song is “Anti Believer” followed by “Thousand Miles Away” ⬅️ it was those ad-libs. If you want to learn to love the gym, go follow Minho’s YouTube channel where he is training and competing in Hyrox and preparing for a triathalon. He’s so inspirational! (She said from her couch)

PD - I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate your reactions and your love for music. Honestly, seeing the way music brings out your emotions is touching. Music has been a major source of healing and happiness for me, and I completely understand what you mean by music just being able to bring you tears or laughter, even if it's an upbeat and funky song or a heartbreaking one. I've always had difficulty expressing myself and understanding my own emotions, but music reaches the depths of my soul and just does something special to me. I hope you know that there are many people in the world who have this special connection with music like you do. We're all traveling through time finding comfort and peace in this one common thing we share: music. And for me, SHINee's music always seems to reach me in places I thought didn't even exist. For me, this album felt like a big, warm embrace somewhere up in the clouds.

I love this album so much. I have been a fan of Shinee since 2010 and this album feels like so quintessentially Shinee to me. After Taemin and Onew left SM there were issues with scheduling for them to appear together and perform. I was so afraid that they would be like SNSD that only come together for important anniversaries and some variety shows. But after their recent concert and this album I feel more confident in them moving forward together. PD, I'm so happy you went on this Shinee journey. I have been following your recations for a long time and I remember thinking (especially with how much you love SVT and Dream) oh if he just give Shinee a chance he is going to get it. I'm happy you're there now 😁

i've been into kpop for almost 2 decades (2ne1 got me into kpop) and one thing about shinee that stands out to me is their relationship with their fans. shinee doesn't do a lot of fan service compared to other groups (especially the newer ones) but one thing shinee will always do is treat their fans with so much professionalism and respect. they will absolutely give you your time and your money's worth, and this reflects on everything they put out, not just their music, but even their tours and merch. their shows are always like 12873423 hours long and their merch are always so well designed. you're right, at this point in shinee's career, they could've just sat on their laurels and put out a chill thank you song once a year, but they respect their fans and their support too much to give us anything half assed. anything they put out is very intentional, and they treat their jobs with so much passion, diligence and professionalism, that it's hard to not support them further. they never take their legacy for granted and always see their reverence as a challenge, rather than bask in it.

PD, I started watching your videos in 2017. When you reacted to Good evening and said that you weren’t really into SHINee I didn’t understand it. It didn’t make sense to me watching your taste and what you liked, but I was certain that it was a matter of time. I didn't understand it then but I do now. You have “discovered” SHINee when you were supposed to. It was God's or life's way. I’m enjoying your journey a lot. 🙌🏻

Your soul is so beautiful. The way you show your vulnerability, the way you feel art and experience it... it's inspiring. In the video, you said something like 'SHINee is made of different bread.' Yes, they are. And I believe Shawols are too. We feel joy, pride, sadness, and all kinds of emotions in every single one of their songs. My fave from this EP is, of course, Atmos. But Still Raining hits different. It sends me back to early SHINee ballads – such a nostalgic feeling. 🤍

Hard agree -- Shinee makes timeless music, and they make music that always sounds like them, no matter what genre it is. In that sense, to me Hours is the most classic "Shinee" sound, that funky bright pop. Atmos, Possibility, and Antibeliever are straight off The Story of Light album imo, which you haven't gotten to yet and will be a while. But it's a lot of that electro dance house sound. Still Raining is a Minho song, lol. No I kid, but somehow it also aligns with songs like Don't Let Me Go (1 of 1 album) and Insomnia in a way. Thousand Miles Away reminds me of a song like Kind, not quite a ballad, but a slower emotional song that very few other groups can pull off like Shinee can. Also 4 minutes 22 seconds in this economy damn! Antibeliever has been my favorite for a while (we crying in the club!!), but Hours is creeping up my list by the day, it's just that classic Shinee sound, and the little breakdown is so satisfying. And its LDN noise and Kenzie, I mean come on. As a side note, I feel you on how our health journeys can be lonely and I've been going through it too. I have chronic Lyme disease and have been very sick and stressed lately. Shinee's comeback could not have come at a better time in terms of my own personal comfort and small moments of joy in an otherwise VERY rough few months. So I feel you on needing an emotional outlet and Shinee is here for us for that. We can do it PD! 🫶

to this day i genuinely cannot stop crying every time possibility comes on. it's quite literally the definition of hopecore to me and it just so deeply moves me. definitely a song of the year for me. shinee is just that group, and they remind you every single time. incredible
