By the way, The Handmaiden: Extended Edition is a must-see. Don't even start with The Handmaiden: Theatrical Cut; watch the Theatrical Cut just to rewatch it.

Please do more studio ghibli movies one of my favorite movies of all time . I literally own all complete movies collections . I love all of them since was my child hood. I love Kiki delivery service , howls moving castle , Ponyo , when marine was there such sad movie so is grave of fireflies . , & secret life of arriety pretty good . I love spirited away so good . It was supposed be 3 hour along movie but cut a lot of it out tho.

With spirited away, I honestly feel the most bittersweet (obviously when she leaves but also) when Kamaji gives Chihiro his train tickets. He literally gave her his only 4 tickets that he's been saving for 40 years. And they're all stuck at the bathhouse so I'm sure that was part of his plan or ticket out. And then Chihiro uses up all 4 in one go. Rip.

I think Spirited Away and Nausicaa are def my favorites of the Ghibli movies that I've seen.

oh nice! I didn't remember much of the plot at all, but I remember my 7th or 8th grade English teacher showed us the movie in class. Literally the only thing I remembered was that there was a failing star or something and something over a big wall. LOL

My pitch for Nausicaa after Mononoke instead of Howl which I know everyone loves - Nausicaa can be a good continuation of environmentalism and a good pre-cursor transition into war themes for Howl!
