no skips album, on repeat for hours at a time; it's incredible. i'm so glad they included the Serve instrumental bc that track has LAYERS, and it's such a feast to listen to. loved your description of Extancy btw - there are all these audio moments on this EP that sound celestial (that's the only word that sounds right) and create such a pull into the musical experience. seriously, one of the best kpop EPs i've ever heard 💞

checking out the duo stages is a must! there's only one official music show performance each so it won't take long either

hi PD, I really hope you can check out EVAN'S Busking event. The full event was uploaded today! https://youtu.be/9lXw1ajhXLc?is=qznoEjc1BULvpuPy He performed at Han River and so many people came to support him. He did great too. It was his first big event outside of music shows.

Knowing XLOV, the vynil is prolly coming soon, dont worry lmao. Also, u should check their unit performances, its a work of art!!!

I agree with everyone that u should check out the 2 unit stages, but I also think you should check out Serve stage too. The performance is just too good!! This album has been on repeat for me so much since it came out. I also feel like they really do have a shot at making it mainstream (but I said the same thing about GWSN, loona, and cignature so maybe im a bad judge lol). They have really good album sales so far and it keeps getting higher each comeback. So as long as their company keeps funding these frequent comebacks I really think they’ll have the momentum to get popular. XLOV are actually having their first fanmeeting in LA on Saturday and I’m sooooo jealous of everyone who gets to go.

My 1st listen of SERVE was the video. I enjoyed it overall, but the transitions were jarring. Felt like a mashup of 3 songs. Then, I heard the studio version, and, like you said, removing the visuals made it even better. You hear the soundscape much more clearly. Finally, the instrumental made me realize how much the vocals impacted my experience of the song. The transitions flowed naturally and I LOVE the synth during Rui’s part. I say all that to emphasize that SERVE isn’t even my favorite track, but it was still. such an enjoyable auditory experience. My favorites in order: THE RULES, MASTERPIECE, HIPS, EXTANCY, SERVE, BACK 2 BACK.

Definitely check out the unit performances, also, the serve instrumental needs to be in dress to impress lol
