oh my god yah, i hate revolving doors and escalators too....

Form of Therapy

I have to like… prepare myself? When I get on an escalator and I always kind of “hop” on it.

This drama is so dear to me, I hope you get to enjoy it as much as I did as well

I struggle so much with noise because I also hate wearing headsets, they are so heavy and uncomfortable, I envy people that can use them comfortably 🥹 Also I have this thing where wearing complete noise canceling headphones makes my brain just as anxious, so in my search I found and wear loops, which have been a blessing in dimming out high noise frequencies and a nice alternative in between when I'm not actually listening to music ❤️

I think aside from the topic of an autistic person navigating the work force and adult life in general, this drama also has very interesting law cases (some based on real cases), which were widely praised by real lawyers that watched the show, so I think that's also why this drama is so well spoken of 🙌

yes, if I had to choose between escalators and stairs, I would choose stairs without hesitation. I always take a few minutes before hopping onto them but it also makes me feel a bit guilty because people behind me then have to wait. My knuckles go white because of how tightly i keep holding the rails and then I also wear spectacles so sometime they look kinda all blurry and identifying the start and end is so hard.

I found this drama to be one of the best depictions of autism in media. As someone who has both a father and brother who are on different levels of the spectrum, it does a great job presenting the disorder with dignity and realism that many shows fail to do. I also love that our main character is a woman since women with autism are typically underdiagnosed. I think you will love each of the main characters' growth and the amount of usually taboo topics that the show covers.

Woo to the Young to the Woo

I love the lead actress in this show. I first watched her in Hot Stove League (an incredible drama btw, and Jo Byung Kyoo from Uncanny Counter also stars in it), and she was really good in it. When I first watched Extraordinary Attorney Woo, I didn't even realize it was the same actress at first.

Autism is a disability in the U.S. as well, and the fact that it is allows those with Autism to have certain legal protections against discrimination, thanks to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

@PD: Revolving doors aren't common here, but I relate with the thing about escalators. I use to struggle with getting on them as a kid. So my mother used to hold my hand and we'd count to 3 before getting on. It's something I still do (instinctively). Without the hand-holding of course lol.

The child actress was in The Glory, here as well as in The Wonderfools (young version of the brainwashing woman).
