I have to agree with you on Bad being near the bottom for me. But the album makes up for it. I mean, Toxin is fucking phenomenal. Although I can’t dislike Bad too much because it’s currently going viral in SK and is making Ateez seriously chart for the very first time!! They literally just broke top 20 on Genie and Melon and top 25 on Flo today so I just can’t hate Bad bc as a deep in the trenches Atiny I never thought we’d chart this consistently ever. I just have to root for it now lol

I have similar feelings for Bad as a song, i think ateez have better minimalist tracks that are more interesting to listen to. Though looking at what its doing for ateez with its virality (particularly bcus of its choreo), its hard to say that it was the wrong title track choice. I love this album as a whole though! As an fan of every song ateez has with latin influences, mamcita is probably my favourite, and then body because of its vibe.

Though I personally love Bad and did right from the beginning a lot of atinys also thought that Mamacita should have been the title track at first. Though now that it's going viral and giving ateez a career high in south korea even if it isn't their favorite they now see why ateez said they wanted Bad to become one of their signature songs. Also even though Bad isn't really your taste I hope you'll at least react to the inkigayo stage that was the start of the song going viral. By the way if you really like fallin' you should re-listen to ateez's world ep 2. Outlaw b-sides. Fallin' fits right in with all those songs.

As someone, who likes latino genres, I think Bad is an okay song, whereas Mamacita is: “Hm! Now you got me dancing!”

I don’t think I was that fond of Bad on the first listen, but it definitely grew on me. It’s still not my favorite title track though. But I will say I personally think Bad is more iconic than Mamacita so I’m not complaining that Bad was the title track. Also probably an unpopular opinion, but I didn’t really like Mamacita except for the chorus.
