It's so funny that Vernon just put the name Stephanie for no real reason, not referencing anybody 😂

Kate

Yaaaash thank u for doing the listening party for v8! I really, really want to see your reaction about 8DM because it's really different from Orbit. But yeah, Minghao now is liking to EDM genre too much (we can see that on Love is Gone) and hell yeaaah you noticed the beautiful lyrics on Coloring!!! I agree that Coloring is much more Kpop than the other songs, but I really like the adlibs and the lyrics soooo yeah. For singasong, yes. It's very experimental and it's very segmented. Seungkwan said too that no one in Kpop release a song like singasong and Vernon just doing right to push this song as a title track. Anyway, I really love this listening party and I hope V8 can do comeback after his military service ended

Absolutely love the V8 duo on this project!! I would have to agree that this EP kind of leaves you with an almost haunting feeling when listening all the way through. And actually the word I would use to describe it as a whole is "cathartic". It just feels like each song acts as a release from the perplexing emotions conveyed in the lyrics through the beat itself blending so well with the message. Outside of Singasong which has been stuck in my head on repeat, my favorites have got to be BEAT, 8DM, & rat race 😊 I have always been a big fan of Vernon & The8 as individuals within SVT so seeing them come together at sort of "match artistic energies" in producing through The8's previous solo work & now the V8 is so amazing to see. Also yea The8 has definitely got to have a love for space since he seems to send us all into orbit (pun intended) at least once when listening to his music 😅

This was such a fun musical journey and I'm so glad that Vernon and Minghao went into full creative mode for it. I love rat race so much, it's my fav off the EP but wish the song was a bit longer!!
