u have to listen to the single album, silence might be one of the best txt songs ever i think I ascended when I heard it , and the acoustic version of setsuna Hanabi makes the song sound even more emotional and yearning

MV Theory (personal opinion): YJ got hurt from being beat up by the loansharks and kept fighting back. Landshark goons then started messing with Soobins shop (Taehyun got hurt from helping?) and eventually mess with YJs brakes. YJ realizes his brakes dont work while he's driving on the highway and you see him closing his eyes and crying right before his supposed collision/death. The broken bike in the shop and the 4 other members solo scenes are post YJs death- all of them are listless and kind of defeated looking. Taehyun might've been hospitalized the entire time which is why he immediately runs to Soobins shop looking when he wakes up. As for YJ's injuries- You can see that he got them from the loanshark fight but by the time we reach the motorcycle scene he doesn't have them (passage of time, loanshark and dinner were an earlier memory). Also Taehyun doesn't have any injuries during the dinner scene but he does leaving the hospital. So dinner scene is after loanshark beatdown but before hospital/bike crash. The ending shot with the other 4 walking along the beach after the fireworks scene hints at YJs death and him being the subject of the songs message. The rest of them live in a time after his death, trying to get their lives back together while still hanging onto the fleeting memories of when they were 5. Long story short, YJ dead dead and this MV is immaculate.

Please listen to the Bside track Silence!!. It's piano ballad rock, insaneeee vocal performance, instantly my top 5 TXT Japanese track 😭✨ They also put acoustic version of Setsuna Hanabi in the EP which equally amazinggggg

so... I'm typing this while watching and pausing your reaction and I might've confused myself here... the drinking-scene - Taehyun wears his hospital gown. I though this must take place before the accident. but then I just realised he arrives at Soobins workshop when the bike is in dire need to be repaird like after the accident... I just wanted to write down my theorie but I kind of missed that detail and now I am at a loss thrown back to the beginning... 😅 what throws me off is yeonjun in the opening scene looks like he is beaten up. not like he was in an accident. he'd look much worse, no? so I assumed he escaped the bad guys - that's why he said he almost died. by cloths the drinking-scene couldn't follow the opening scene cos it's two different outfits. at least for taehyun and Kai. oh my... I just confused myself. gotta do some more thinking 😅 whilenI hope for a good ending. I am about 95% sure yj is dead 😢 Anyway! I am absolutely in love with this comeback! I think the best ever and I am so sad every live likely gonna be limited to Japan only. 😞 due to connection issues I couldn't join the last livestream. had a feeling you might've reacted to this song 😅 oh well. def. check out Silence. that's like a MUST. one of the best txt songs. like, ever. it shot straight to my top-3 and I doubt it'll ever leave that spot again. I think you'll love that one, too. esp with you loving Kais and being fond on Soobins vocals. 💙

so true... I think the alternative version even gives that song a haunting/final vibe. like there's no going back... whereas the original is somewhat urgent and desperate but still hopefull. 😢

I agree with your take I think. ...but what cobfuses me, in that drinking-scene terry is still wearing his hospital gown and has bandages on his cut knuckels. so it's right after he went to soobs workshop which does not align with yj being beaten up after the incident with the bad guys, or does it...? 😫😭

I watched it again and again... 😅😅 and thought I figured it out that taehyun leaving the hospital and arriving at soobs workshop takes place at the same time yj went to the bad guys and got beaten up. him coming back to the workshop after he escaped and the guys all waiting for him would make so much sense - if terry and kai wouldnt wear different clothes then later when they go drinking. yj looking roughed up like after the beating - if that scene would be him after possibly surviving and arriving after the crash also makes no sense cos then he would look much worse and the cuts on his face would have healed at least a bit... this is srsly giving me a headache sorry. 🫣
