I was watching this drama for the first time along side you, but after episode 5 I had to keep watching, I couldn't wait after that ending last episode haha

Correction, that wasn't a tear drop that flew out from Chaeni and landed on Unjeong's cheek. That was snot. 🤣. Whenever they show something dramatic here, expect a subversion into humor. Just like in that face off between Robin and Unjeong and they had to answer their phones. As for Cha Eun Woo, don't listen to the haters. Go judge for yourself and watch his other dramas. He wasn't an idol turned actor. He was an actor first. What you just described about Korean actors, that was his background. He graduated from Sungkyunkwan University with a BS in Performing Arts and Acting. Before that he went to Hanlim Multi Art School. He is really great in nuanced acting. He got a bad rep from his back to back role of a sociopath. Supposed to be unfeeling. So the acting has to come from his eyes. Very nuanced. If you're up for a legacy drama with Kim Nam Joo, go check out Wonderful World. Kim Nam Joo speaks highly of his acting. No greater endorsement than from veteran actors and directors themselves. He is good in Island as well. That one is a horror fantasy so an easier watch than Wonderful World which is very heartbreaking. In short, don't listen to haters who are bitter and judge him for his looks.

I agree. I have never been a fan of Cha Eun Woo and hoping this is a safe place to say that coz saying this in social media means his fans would attack me so I don't say it. I have not liked his acting in some of the other shows I have watched. Nothing against him nor do I hate him, I like him as an idol but not an actor. So this is coming from someone who thought he wasn't a good actor- He did really well in this drama. He has gotten much better and I love that for him. Haters who hate him or say really mean stuff or take it too far than just disliking his acting skills, they are just toxic people.
