You said that they probably thought they needed to wait for Taeyong and Jaehyun to return before making a comeback, and I think you're right about that. While Taeyong coming back already returned some of the feeling of togetherness, Jaehyun's return really felt like 127 was brought back to life, and I can't even pinpoint it on something specific. Jungwoo's still my ultimate bias, and I miss him a LOT, much more than I ever missed another kpop idol during enlistment (BTW, I think you still haven't seen/heard Jungwoo's solo single that came out right before his service..?), but we're at a point again where NCT 127 feels like an actual group and I can't wait to follow the promotions for Blingy

I was thinking of it as "Limitless" 2.0 (not 100%, but it 'feels' like "Limitless" to me), but that's fine because I liked "Limitless". This is like a mashup of "Limitless" + NCT 127's "Lemonade" + "Chain" for the noise aspect in the opening and ending portion in a way. Hearing it again, I do like it more than the other comebacks they had recently. 10 years for NCT DREAM and 127. But as a concept, NCT is also 10 years, even if WayV were not there in the beginning and WISH was brought in later. 10th NCT Anniversary is what they are going with for content being released this year. 2016-2026. Actual 10 Year Debut Anniversary for NCT as a whole was April 9th 2026. NCT DREAM just celebrated their 10th Anniversary August 25th, a day ago.

I think PD mentioned on one of their lives that they didn’t really like Jungwoo’s “Sugar” or at least that it wasn’t the direction they had hoped he would take.

What NCT lost during their time together is a whole unit of it's own: T**il Mark Winwin Ten (we know what SM does to people who leave the agency *cough* CBX *cough*) Lucas Shotaro Sungchan Jungmin (kinda)

Well, Ten is different. CBX never got to even work with EXO again after they left SM. Ten still works with WayV. Maybe because Ten doesn't have legal disputes with SM. Ten also didn't sue SM right after leaving, that's the HUGE difference.

Dare I say that I did not miss Mark. It's most likely bc the guys seem so at ease and fine without him. Once the remaining two are back, they have more than enough talent to cover any musical style they wish.

As long as they leave on good terms, everything is fine. Kyuhyun and D&E have no issues with SuJu comebacks. Their companies actually collab on special videos and such. Sooyoung and Yuri are literally debuting in a new SNSD unit this week. Yeri and Wendy just had a comeback with Red Velvet.
