This group should just be self-producing and self-choreographing. I actually haven’t thought this deeply with their music, and I’ve liked things so far, but I can see how it falls short too. For choreo specifically, I like what they’ve given. I wanted Yumeki in the group so they could choreograph themselves (tbh idk if they actually do or not), but he didn’t make it. But I do think they have some good dancers that could make choreo, so being a self-choreographing group isn’t out of reach (or at least imo)

having watched b2p, i really like this group and the members within it, it's such a shame that their music hasn't really brought out their best (yet) </3 wakeone is so good at fumbling the music of groups with enormous predebut hype that it should be a talent LMAO welcome home is my favourite track too! it has so much soul and vulnerability that their other songs lack. i love R&B so talk to me and diamond hour should've been up my alley but both songs feel like there's something missing... beyond whatever production and vocal directing choices were made, i don't think the minimalist, sub 3min run time helped either. i'm curious to hear your thoughts on their covers of beautiful by wanna one and fake love by bts (which they performed at kcon jpn and LA respectively! both of them are already out on youtube by now). i don't want to spoil too much but having watched those two performances, i think this group would really excel if they reheated those nachos instead of whatever they presently have.

the first time i read the lyrics of welcome home i got very emotional. you can tell the members have so much heart and artistry, i hope wakeone eventually lets them do more self-produced music, i think it’s the right path for them.
