this title track took me so off guard, but i loved it so much!! it sounds like nothing i’ve heard from them, and fuma was channeling his inner taemin, LOL! however.. my only complaint is that i don’t think i heard harua once!?! like i saw him once or twice in the video but i dont even remember hearing his voice. that aside, pd i really hope you love the album when you listen to it! i believe cortis wrote and worked on one of the bsides! overall i enjoyed every song so much, particularly night to howl and accelerate!

I didn’t expect this type of title track from them but perhaps that’s why I love it so much?, it was unexpected but it works for them so well and it sounds beautiful and to top it all of the album is GOOOOOD, the vocals on empty and night to howl are insane, maki pops off and it’s gorgeous.

I liked We on Fire more than most people (the choreo and acoustic ver elevate it a lot) but I agree that this is a good new direction for them generally even if it is short. Vocals were also processed a bit too much imo. I also agree with what you said about their previous LP that their pop songs are superior! I enjoyed the upbeat b-sides more than Mark on Me.

LOLS i can't wait for your reaction to the new album! your reaction is basically a reflection of my own for this title. and i totally agree.. &team could've had the most epic bridge of all time in Mark on Me, but it just had to end so soon :( still a super beautifully crafted comeback & another well deserved 1 mill album seller!

This is the Deer Hunter/Black Swan child I never knew I needed, and the twist from being the predator to now the vulnerable prey is so interesting to me. I love all the different sounds and colors we're getting from every members' voice throughout this album. It's obvious that they've worked hard and that the direction of the album has been really thoughtful. And the members have all been excited for these new songs. Maki did a live yesterday after their showcase where he listened to every song and was geeking out about how proud he was. Looking forward to the listening party!! Also, with the tour, as greedy as I am for them to be here in the states, I think the Japan tour is a good idea to shore up support there and give them time to hopefully rest some in between whatever is cooking next. Also, I appreciate the time to get some money saved up for it! I feel like signs are pointing towards next summer potentially before they're back here.
