Dear Patrons,

Wish me luck. For October I am doing something I’ve wanted to do for years on the Patreon: SPOOKTOBERFEST. A month dedicated to scaaaaaary movies 😨

The original aim with this was to do a horror movie watch party EVERY NIGHT but I’m not ahead enough on my filming schedule to do this, and I also don’t know yet if my sanity can handle it just yet. Maybe next year?

SPOOKTOBERFEST - HORROR MOVIE NIGHTS

SPOOKTOBERFEST Movie Watch Party livestreams will ALL be available for SPRING tier and up and VOD replay will be available for SUMMER tier and up.

Every Tuesday and Friday I’ll be doing a horror movie watch party! Tuesday’s will be a single showing but Fridays will be a DOUBLE FEATURE.

Specifically, Tuesdays will be an AUDIENCE VOTE via poll. The poll options will be both some PG/PG-13 Halloween movies and actual scary movies! Each poll will be held/issued one week beforehand and held for 24hrs so results will be set 6 days before the actual showing.

The Friday double features will be my personal picks, based on horror movies I’ve wanted to watch. Mind you, I am a GIANT BABY and I actually hate horror movies as they terrify me (did you see my reaction to my OURBIRTHDAY M2 BIRTHDAY PARTY video? LOL I was terrified) but I like group activities so I thought this would be fun!

The horror movies are also diversified in such a way that it’s not all the same type of horror and some are even fun like the Ready or Not series so hopefully something for everyone!

Times will also alternate every other week so that even our international audience members can join in on some of our movie nights!

• 10/27 4PM PST - Audience Vote

• 10/30 7PM PST - Salmokji Whispering Water (2026), Incantation (2022)

K-POP FOCUS FOR OCTOBER

LISTENING PARTIES & BONUS DROPS

It’s always hard for me to make these decisions but September was a bit rough in terms of filming because it was hard to balance filming variety content on Patreon vs the huge swell of comebacks that happened in September 😨

October is no joke neither so in preparation, I have to push variety content to November. The only thing I’m keeping is the survival show poll winner R U NEXT.

You may have noticed it’s been hard for me to balance the swell of comebacks and Kulture/Bonus Study videos and bonus drops this past September, and ultimately it’s the bonus drops that suffer and always create a huge backlog and if anything I’d prefer to be timely with the bonus drops!

So I’m pushing variety content to November, I will prefilm as much as I can this month so that it’ll be much ahead in November and I won’t have to film week to week and get some breathing room as well.

In turn, listening parties will be out sooner and I’m also dedicating days to release bonus drops multiple times a week so I can both catch up with the many requests as well as stay on top of the new upcoming comebacks!

But it’s that time: November will also be the last month for variety before I head into our huge award show season 😱 Variety will be back in February/March like this year, and December/January will be focused on award shows and a bit more…

NOVEMBER, DECEMBER & JANUARY

So I’m STILL planning out November, December & January so please note things are subject to change/moved around.

NOVEMBER

Because it’ll be the last month of variety for a hot minute we’re gonna go as big as we can which is why I’m trying to prefilm it this month! I’ll need probably both this month and next month to get them all done. You can use the Google Calendar link to get a glimpse ahead at what I’m planning to check out.

Also in honor of NO SHAVE NOVEMBER, it’ll be a hairy movie month as I’m going to do a movie night watch party for the modern PLANET OF THE APES film trilogy! (The Andy Serkis ones)

DECEMBER

December will largely be a mix of purely award shows and concert type reactions. Currently a bunch of SHINee concerts, and EVAN’s ‘DEATH OF ME’ Showcase are planned. A few more will be added over time.

R U NEXT will also wrap in December.

JANUARY

January will probably bring back a few variety, but not everything all at once. One thing I definitely plan to start is SUPER ILLIT. I was going to start this much earlier, but I think it makes sense to start it after R U NEXT. But the primary will still be variety content.

Feb & March will slowly bring back variety. I say slowly/it’ll be light because I do plan to take it slow a little during December because I need to save the energy for the award shows, and I plan to take a little time off to go see family in December and take some personal time in January and maybe squeeze in a vacation for myself.

LIVESTREAM SCHEDULE CHANGES

After experimenting with the live-streaming the past two months, I mentioned before I’ll have to play with times and scheduling so I’ll be trying something new for October. Rather than going live every weekday, I’ll be live TUES & WED and FRIDAY.

Times will change as well.

Therapy Sessions will now be 11AM ~ 4PM PST starting 2 hours earlier versus the old time of 1 to 6. Community Livestreams will be slightly shorter from 11AM - 3PM PST on Fridays!

This will help combat my video storage overload issue and also give me open days to film Kulture Studies and bonus drops.

TO SHAWOLS… it’s time.

To my fellow SHAWOLS. Please take a look at the Google Calendar starting the end of this month on the 30th of October. And go ahead and look ahead and preview every Friday going forward from November until December.

That’s right.

I’m sure if you’ve been following my SHINee DEEP DIVE journey, you’ll know how much it has meant to me. And as a tribute to you all, I wanted to gift you all a very special holiday season. So in order for that to work, starting October 30th when I kick off with SHINee WORLD III, I will be jumping back into a SHINee listening party journey.

There will be a new SHINee listening party EVERY FRIDAY starting from MARRIED TO THE MUSIC all the way to the ATLANTIS album. And then in December I will body SHINee WORLD IV & V, back to back, do a RE-LISTENING PARTY for HARD (the album that started it all for me), and then what say we start off the new year with SHINee WORLD VI on January 1st?

Yes… it’s a very ambitious series of reactions I’m embarking on and so I’ll be very busy behind the scenes this October. But it’s my way of saying thank you for supporting me and for bringing SHINee into my life :)
