Amortage was so good, in my opinion. The songs, especially the music video for “Earthquake,” suited her so well. I don’t understand why she switched to this type of music, with very medium songs exclusively in English, when she isn’t even promoting outside Korea. I also don’t really get the message or concept behind “Click” and “Addicted.” Such a waste of potential.

I agree with the Korean, i wish she was singing in korean like earthquake.. If i had to do some critiques would be the 2nd part of the chorus to hit harder or at least have a bridge that lead to more heavy hitting outro cause the chorus stays minimal throughout the whole song.. I like it more than CLICK tho but i think she needs to get onto the earthquake recipe more cause that song was a banger.

Yeap i have been saying it with all the girls most of times .. even like jennie was my favorite release since solo cause of the korean involved.. and dont be mad at me jisoo is my bias in bp i am just sharing my thoughts and opinions

No hate on Jisoo whatsoever, she was actually my very first bias in k-pop nearly 10 years ago, but I'm genuinely surprised she's continuing her musical journey. I thought she'd stick to acting, and I'm not sure whether she's even enjoying making music. It all kinda feels like a side project for her, and unfortunately, you can hear that in the music she releases (I liked Amortage though).

i am pretty much on the same page.. idk if she is doing it to maintain ''relevance'' to the western audiance but the zyan colab and those 2 releases are just mainstream and outdated western music and not that great in production either. Sad cause indeed amortage was great project but i still have hopes for her album whenever that comes out.

personally, if the chorus was a pre chorus; or the chorus itself hit more & there was choreo in the mv, it would've been a 9/10. it just fell flat for me. i liked the mv to some extent, but it was a little boring. definitely loved 'earthquake' more.
