So what do you guys think about GFRIEND going for a cinematic sound as opposed to the pop trend they've been on?

Just wanted to let you know that if you were confused by the story of the mv they actually released a video about it a bit before which explains a lot: https://youtu.be/yRp0GIiwUmk

This era has been very different from what they’ve done in the last couple of years. PD was on point when he said that ‘Crossroads’ actually sounded like the soundtrack for this mini-movie. Labryrinth, which is their current b-side, actually feels like their actual comeback song. They even had their farewell performance with their b-side track instead of their title track. Looking forward to the Listening Party for this album.

The music volume is a bit too loud compared to your voice. :(

I agree with all your points. I kinda wish they’d shown some choreo for this MV. I know there’s a story and lore and it possibly could have gotten in the way of telling it but GFRIEND choreo is always a joy to watch and, for me, it would have helped energize the song a bit more.

This song is supposed to be a look back on their past story wise, according to Gfriend themselves. The next comebacks are likely to be different in some way. They are gearing up to change to a point and want to "Grow up."

I’m a fairly new buddy, started listening during sunrise, but is this quality usual for them, or do you think Bighit taking them in had to do with how high quality this video looks?

Christian Oettl

The start of the video is taken from the Fingertip MV and the song and MV really reminds me of Time for the Moon Night
