if you're interested in watching blackpink variety, they were on weekly idol during their debut eras and they were on idol room ep 7 too. for something more recent, there is the 24/365 series on youtube, which is mix of behind the scenes and variety stuff!

Another thing you can watch for Blackpink variety stuff is Blackpink House. It was a kind of reality series they did prior to releasing Ddu Du Ddu Du and it definitely helped me become emotionally invested in the girls.

In an interview the director said that she told them to speak in the language that was the most natural/comfortable for them, that’s why they go back and forth with Korean and English, and Lisa even with Thai in her solo interview parts

This movie made me rethink a lot of things. Like fans hate yg and hate the fact that they don't give blackpink comebacks or albums and make them go on hiatus forever but it's all apart of the big picture. There are rarely groups where all the members are well known to the public but Blackpink is one of them. Not only have they reached group success but also individual success and I think the way they were managed in the long-run has a big part in it.

Totally agree with marketing thingy. BLACKPINK is already a household name here in my country but when they released the documentary, lots of my friend became BLINKS. Like legit fans who started watching all their videos and started buying merch and album. They gained thousands of new fans from this documentary alone.

To choose the quality of the images in Netflix you have to access the main setting panel of your profile if I remember correctly. There you'll be able to set it as you want it to be.

i loved that series because it really made their individual personalities shine. It wasn't that scripted so the girls were able to have freedom in what they were doing.
