"Mala xiangguo" (麻辣香锅）is basically hotpot. Hotpot is basically the cooking of all different kinds of food in one single pot with the same flavor. Mala Xiangguo happens to be the spicy flavor with a chinese spice that is spicy, but in a numbing way (your tongue feels a little numb). You can cook all different types of food in Mala Xiangguo or hotpot. Vegetables of different sorts and meat of different sorts. The thing about hotpot is that while you eat, the food cooks in front of you. At restaurants, the chefs prepare the broth and at eat table there will be a gas cooker. The chef prepares the broth and brings the pot to your tables gas cooker. The rare ingredients are prepared for you to cook as you eat. This is highly highly popular in china. So popular that almost every street in large cities have at least one of these shops.

By the way, there is always a short clip at the end of every Going Seventeen episode. I suggest watching them fully to the end, these clips are usually pretty funny.

I recommend watching the clips after the ending song! They're usually funny bits and jokes or give context to upcoming episodes.

PD in every episode there's always some extra clips/footage after the ending song that most of the times are really funny and in some episodes they are longer so i suggest you start watching the episodes until the end so you dont miss any part of the fun <3
