Same as you, i still prefer JYB original version despite being hardly Dubchaeng biased, you have to love their humor as a duo. It’s always fun see things like this on kpop, specially from TWICE who doesnt usually do promotions like this. I love Melody Project and i’m waiting for the Tzuyu participation thats has been anticipated by themselves on livestreams.

Twice is one of my ult groups so naturally I prefer their cover over the original but I do agree that JYP & Rain's vocals sound a little more fitting for this specific song

While i do love their musical cover, a lot of the fun of the original song was the MV so I would have loved for them to do something similar also, just from their perspective

I like the cover and I loved that they gave it a kind of Home Alone mashed up with MTV Cribs feel in contrast to the generic "Richard Gere romance" feel of the original. I mentioned MTV Cribs because I think the huge contrast between outfits and sets makes sense thinking of the mansions showed in the program where the rapper dressed in the Gucci potato bag had a bathtub made out of a single block of gold... To be honest that considered the only element that I found out of place were the modernized hanboks, and that was even before the original designer coming out wondering why they were so similar to the ones she sells. Whatever the problem was there I thought they were misplaced so that's the only critique I have to the project, I felt it as a "that's so cool let's do it anyway" situation.

I’m surprised you didn’t know Dahyun was older than Chaeyoung. While they’re both on the maknae line with Tzuyu, Dahyun is 98 and Chaeyoung is 99 with Tzuyu.
