Evolution and change is important to progress so I want to hear from you guys. Do you want something new? If so, what? I'm literally stretched SO thin right now as I am always filming so new content would mean we would have to make some sacrifices.

Nothing is permanent but these changes, if any, are not set in stone. We're just discussing for now so sound off in the comments!

So unrelated but when I saw the noti my head went "I want to hear your voice woah oh woah oh" Yea Basquiat is still one of the best songs

Rain Sparks

I currently enjoy the schedule you post content atm! I'm a boy group stan so I'll watch pretty much anything on that side of things. As a Pentagon and TXT would love to see more of them whenever you have time.

Abby Gora

i like the schedule! i hope you could react to cix’s cinema though 🥺

Caitlin

If deep dives and jpop could be woven back into the schedule that would be great but I know you are stretched thin so I don’t want you to overwork yourself and enjoy what you are watching

eli_nhdoaek

For me, I adjust my subscription based on the shows your watching 😅 sometimes if im not too interested with the show or the groups you focusing on, I downgrade it.. But I dont really blame you cuz we all have our preferences and I also have other bills to pay so I just use what I can! One thing that I think you can improve on is maybe requests on the community tab? We dont really know if the requests are being considered or not or it’s already scheduled. Maybe a reply to the request? Or a monitoring list of things you consider to watch? Thanks PD!

Ami

I don’t know if you enjoy doing them, but maybe kpop games? (Ex. Drop one Save one for songs, Guess the member). I enjoy doing them mysef, but I’d only be happy if you actually like playing those games and not be force to😊

Maggie Ross

The podcast was one of my favorite things tbh. I really liked the blend of topical issues and personal anecdotes. it was something I looked forward to when I had to run errands but really I'm here for whatever you put out and will continue to support you :)

eli_nhdoaek

To add to this, I really like your reactions and opinions to stage performances! Like in award shows, special stages or studio choom.

Originally I joined the patreon to watch road to kingdom however I stayed because I liked the other shows you are watching as well I was just saying different videos and supporting you obviously as well please don’t cut 17 you’re one of the only 17 content creators out there and one of the only carat out of the YouTubers (even though we are like the second or third most selling boy group) it’s hard to find people who make content for them so please don’t cut going 17. I would maybe like to say I know you do not fall of reactions but perhaps something like underrated group highlight. What I will say is because I am home early a boy group stand I don’t watch the girl group content quite as much though I do watch the showterview with Jessi. But obviously must have a lot of girl group fans in order to make those popular as well so personally if there is anything I will cut it would be that but then again I was never going to be the audience for that I am hyped for the rest of i land and extremely hyped for kingdom. I know you do streaming on twitch but I can’t seem to find where those are recorded to watch if you’re not watching live the saying I’m really bad at twitch and don’t usually use it so maybe it’s a problem with how I am unfamiliar with the platform. I will get subscribing no matter what but it’s great what your doing now

Coco Liu

According to an acquaintance of mine, she started her Patreon subscription right before the time you were on hiatus pd. She told me she understood that you were going through health issues and mental health issues, but she could not keep paying if there were breaks from time to time. Her reasoning was that she too had problems, but chose to support the patreon for content. She wasn't getting content, so she canceled. (my solution of the problem is in the replies)

Anonymous

i honestly enjoy the schedule right now & I’m sure we all understand there’s inconsistent days but we all have those days (: i would enjoy if there was a way we can all have close discussion about different topics every once in a while like a huge group chat type of thing? i also like the idea of you possibly teaching us some korean but live so we can ask questions, but i really appreciate the amount of content you deliver now & i’m satisfied so thank you 😊

Amber

I definitely like the current schedule, and would rather not have that change. I do feel that it would be better to improve on how the requests on the community tab are handled? It's a little messy on that part. I also think that there aren't a lot of benefits for the patrons who pay $2 (as of what I'm aware of) since early access was removed, so I do have a suggestion regarding that. I know that you're not going to do a Kulture Study for every music video that comes out, so I think for the music videos that you don't plan to analyze and would rather just watch in your free time could instead be a 5-10 minute reaction to benefit the $2 patrons. Idk, just a thought.

Anonymous

idk. you could watch an episode, mv or anything, and after have a discussion on discord with high-paying patreons and record it or not. Also you could stream it first and have a editor chop it down, add an intro. then you could just chill, and talk with people at the same time (kind of like how jre does it on twitch)

David Nystrom

I’m enjoying the schedule you’ve got going. If you need to slow down, that’d be fine too because I’d rather you make content you’re happy with than feeling like you need to rush stuff out. If you wanted to change up how you make stuff, just a brief post maybe suggesting things to check out if there’s not enough time to crank out other content. “Hey so-and-so has a new title track out, I think it’s dope, give it a listen,” or something simple like that in some cases could work for simplifying your own workload.

Coco Liu

What I think: It's hard to tend to the need of all the Patreons. Even as I'm looking at the comments myself and seeing things that people want to see on the channel. It's impossible to watch everything that is suggested and your health is very important. But, because patreons are paying the money, they should know what they are getting. A suggestion I'm making is the use of the schedule calender again. Except, that it's able to be accesses by non-patreons. To make video plans two week in advance, the people that join would know what content they are getting. You could still react to suggestions, but just have them planned ahead of time and written down on the calender, so that we and non-patreons would know ahead of time, what we/they are getting. This way patreons are satisfied. Just a little suggestion.

CrystalFae44

I honestly enjoy all of the contents that you give us already. If anything I would love to see more dance practice/live stage reactions, or music videos for b-sides or Japanese songs, because that’s what I like to watch. I also really enjoy your reactions to shows like I land and treasure box! Variety shows aren’t really my thing, so I don’t tend to watch those reactions but I know other people like them, same with dramas. Tbh although I think it’s awesome that you’re wanting to improve your content and see what we want to watch, I think you should also do what YOU like to do here and if you need to take a break for your mental health or something then you should be able to do that. Tbh it kind of bothered me when you were reading what that Twitter user said, because you have been very open with us all along about what you’ve been going through and why things might be slow sometimes so I don’t feel like people should be complaining about that. Of course if they don’t feel it’s worth the money that’s their choice, but the reason just feels shitty to me. IDK. I also really like your idea of wanting it to be more of a community/club. Maybe some other people will have better ideas but that’s my personal thoughts 😅 I appreciate everything you do for us here, so thank you!!

Luana Sophia

i really like the current schedule, i think it allows us to have contact with many different content without being a too inhuman amount of work to you. I'm up for a change and experimenting. I have to say that the Patreon content has been a stress release to me, the past few months have been crazy (i'm a stupid nerd going through med school) and your content helped me to laugh and forget the shitload of things to do that i had all the time. I really aknowledge your effort to give us the best content 👍

Sara Blas Teixeira

I like the current schedule a lot but your idea of alternating content each week was good too! I honestly haven’t seen many creators like you who always search for your subscribers/ viewers feedback, so you can give them the best possible content. You’re already amazing for that, keep it up PD! :)

Ash

Honestly I like the schedule you have right now! I understand the need for change, but I personally wouldnt be able to tell you what needed to change 😅 I enjoy watching the longer shows with you such as iland and drama club, but i understand those take a lot of time and i’d rather you not stretch yourself too thin!

Kwang Bae

I am a wizone and I’m here to support because I love you content about izone, there ain’t much time left, and izone is having massive content rn, I think it would be better to watch those new content instead of eating trip 1, uts just my personal opinion, all your content is good and that’s why I stayed.

Caitlin

Yes U second this! I love your podcast/versus the internet episodes

star_eternity

I would love to see album review like how you did for blackpink or deep dives but I know that they are time consuming

Fadi - moonlight

I'm really enjoying this current schedule! If it stays as is I'll still subscribe (unless I get in some financial trouble lol). I do have 2 suggestions: bringing back Japanese reactions, as some new Japanese content is great! The other suggestion is maybe consider reacting to web dramas, like when you reacted to Dating Class! Most of the time, the lead characters are played by idols, and they are usually very short (10~20 minutes) so you can go through them very quickly, and maybe we can get some insight on how they differ from longer, high production, traditional kdramas!

MichaelaCw

One suggestion I have regarding the schedule is to maybe have one day that isn’t specially focused on boy or girl group but rather maybe either requests or live stages. For example I know you started watching the KBS song festival but you haven’t finished with it yet and there might be people still waiting for that. So maybe one could be a day just for requests or the most popular requests or live stages

Malaki.H

I would love for diving deeper to come back if its possible

Mima

Honestly? Your schedule right now is good! i’m definitely much more a boy group stan but i’m also not a HUGE multi so, some shows you put out with particular groups just aren’t a preference of mine. I saw someone mention it up above about the community tab, i know there’s a lot of requests and you’ve said you look at all of them, i think it would be helpful to have some sort of system just to see which ones you’re considering either soon or in the future? Just so we know if you’re interested or not:) Your release schedule was actually super helpful, but i know you’re already so busy with what you’ve got, so i totally understand if a schedule isn’t something you can do right now. Although your schedule is good for us, if you personally feel that you need to alternate between shows every second week so you don’t use up the entire day in front of a computer screen trying to get everything up on time, please change it in a way that would suit you too, PD! It’s really considerate of you to even ask about this sort of thing, other patreon channels i follow don’t even communicate HALF as well as you do. Thanks so much.

Malaki.H

Also I would love if PD can take like song requests for songs he hasn't heard before and have a live reaction to them like they don't necessarily have to do full album listens for one group or another cause that takes more time and effort and I think they are already doing alot for us

Lyra

Honestly, I'm here because of your personality. When I started to watch kpop react videos I was following on YouTube like 10 diferent peoples... but now a days I just stick with you. I like that you don't hide your problems anymore and share with the community... the reason I'm not as much active is that most of the content is for groups that I dont really follow... but I understand that its the most famous groups so obvious more people will like it that way... I started with 2 dollars a month and raised to 10... at this moment, in my country situation (brazil) I really can't help with more so I don't know if there's some content for more underrated groups... in my opinion you don't have and you can't push to the limit. Like my channel is stopped for more than a year, and it's not even a big channel just compilation and translation videos from btob... so I know, it takes a lot of effort... I'd like to see more btob shows, Pentagon's, ab6ix's... park jihoon... most not internationally knowing groups... but this is not worth for you I think... try to focus in what you like, different stuff since you know somethings, would really help the community videos explaining normal Korean or kpop thing, like, I always see on Twitter people putting hate for one group doesn't having a lightstick.... what makes the company worth to make one.... why things like that happens... since you know why and have access to people that can really spread the word and create a less toxic community like on YouTube. Sorry if I said too much, I just had a comment for every part of the video.... one way to find a patreon assist that I dont know, I'd do it for free, most youtubers has moderator, staff, just because they wanna help, I think you can find this too. You're also me.

libby

i dont have any specific reccs but i hope iland stays! 😭

Amber

Please keep the Going Seventeen, though. That's what I look forward to the most.

aicrylic (aimee)

i'm a patron to a few other k-pop creators, some of which i've had to cancel because i felt i wasn't getting my money's worth. but i've been with you for two years, so clearly you're doing something right! to be honest, i like the way that the patreon is right now, i think there's a healthy mix of a lot of stuff. my favorite groups are bts, stray kids, loona and txt. sometimes there are days where there isn't anything uploaded that i would really care to watch, and that's ok! i really love watching reality shows with you, i loved road to kingdom, am currently loving i-land and i also loved running girls, of course i'm super excited for kingdom in april. i love watching your videos on live performances, award shows and dance videos like studio choom. i love drama club, hotel de luna and IOTNBO were fantastic! i really miss your listening parties. i'm definitely more on the boy group side of your patreon, so on girl group days i'm usually watching other creators or doing other stuff. when i'm really bored, i just go through and watch your old reactions lol. it would be nearly impossible to please everyone here, certainly some groups are more popular than others and get more requests. but in the end, i think above all else, i love supporting your channel and at the same time watching someone geek out over kpop with me? if there's anything you personally wish to do with your channel, i would support it, too :)

Merlin

Im personally mainly a boy group stan and joined patreon for the boy group contents but I like the schedule the way it is now, it feels fair. I feel like alternating between shows and not reacting continously to them, like stretching them out over several months is a good way to implement alot of variation and that's really great imo but it could also be a disadvantage for the patreons who mainly subscribe for certain groups, since they'll have to wait a long time between the contents of the group they mainly subscribe for and because of that they might not get as much use out of the subscription as they would if you finished a series of a group before starting a new one. Regardless of what you decide to do I really appreciate the work you put in to doing all these contents and trying to keep the subscribers happy!🌻

Anonymous

One of my favourite bits of content is the diving deeper series as it really gives a broad spectrum of what those artists have to offer. I really love all your content and have discovered some many new artists and songs though your channel.

Réka O.

Please don't cut anything that you're currently doing, if anything I'd like more of what you already do! I agree that it would be great if you could react to more of the recommendations we make on the Community tab. I know you don't take requests, but I see so much great stuff recommended there and I already know most of it will never make it into one of your videos. Also, it makes one a bit sad when their suggestions never get chosen. To answer your questions, I enjoy stuff like I-land and Going Seventeen the most, I would prefer more of this kind of content. I would love more long series like these, like TXT's TO DO and other variety and reality series. I'm a boy group stan so I enjoy it more than girl group stuff (though I watch every single video you upload). Also, I know you're probably sick of hearing this but you have a considerable ARMY following and we've been requesting more BTS content for so long :( They have a lot of variety and reality stuff, docu-series, movies, etc. Just a bit more would be so awesome. But I understand if you're simply not interested. If you say so, I will not request it again. I also enjoy short reactions to random interesting stuff on Youtube, listening parties, performance videos, etc. About the inconsistencies, I already wanted to message you a few times about this, to give feedback, but I wasn't sure how to do it without sounding mean. I understand your personal and mental health issues, so I would never blame you for those, of course. My main issue was that you started stuff (like the end of the year awards show reactions that I loved) that you never finished and never gave us an update on again. Or that you sometimes make promises that you don't keep. God, I hope this is not too negative, but it's my honest feedback. I really wanted to upgrade to the $20/month tier several times because I love your content, but the stuff I mentioned above has kept me from doing so. I'm okay with not having any new shows on Patreon, just more consistency, finishing stuff from beginning to end and more reactions to things we recommend would make this perfect.

Violet Joo

Pd do whatever you want 😆. I may not like some content but I stay anyway cuz the content I like I like it a lot!! Thanks for your hard work!!

Gustavo Ramos

As long as you enjoy wat at you are doing. I’m good. The schedule you have is great rn in my opinion. Only thing I want to see is a reaction to perfume by Yubin. lol. But I still enjoy having your Patreon

Anonymous

I like the Coco's suggestion of returning the schedule and to add onto Michaela's suggestion you could take a week or a couple of days every month, depends on what content it is and how long it takes, to instead of having a boy/girl group theme have something else that you want to check out that doesn't come up often in the usual schedule. For example Japanese songs, live stages, long variety shows, or even a deep dive. If you need to prepare ahead for this content or have multiple ideas for this you could put up a poll at the beginning of the month or end of the last month to see what people are interested in.

Promise

for me, the biggest thing i look forward to is you: your reaction, your commentary, and i enjoy seeing you having fun or laughing when you watch the content. consistency isn’t a big deal for me, as long as the content gets uploaded eventually. i enjoy longer reactions (20 min +)over quantity of videos but i completely understand that longer videos aren’t always possible. the schedule as is works for me, the content being put out is also fine; im more of a boy group stan and SM stan in general so having days dedicated to GG or BG makes it easy to anticipate what will be uploaded.

Lastelios

the problem is that many people come here because they are interested in specific groups so pleasing everyone is not easy, personally I follow you because I like you as a person so anything you put on for me is like watching a content with a "friend". I recently found your pd vs the internet series interesting. it looks like a community where you chat with friends and gossip about the world of entertainment plus you learn new things about culture

Rubierose Cacho

My suggestion: Do what brings you joy. I will continue to support for as long as you are happy in doing what you do. Even if it's not for me, someone else would enjoy it. 💚

Réka O.

I wanted to add that I know a lot of content creators are already focusing on BTS, so that might be one possible reason why you're not doing it PD, but your insights are always much more interesting than anyone else's out there. I particularly loved your BTS listening parties because I learned so much from them, even though I've stanned this group for 6 years now. So I only mentioned it because I love to hear your perspective on their artistry/them as individuals, not because I'm some crazy stan who gets mad you don't react to their group's stuff :D Btw, the same goes for TXT, Stray Kids, ATEEZ, Pentagon, A.C.E they're also my favorites and I haven't seen that much content about them here.

Lastelios

a good solution would be to make a longer video where you retrieve the comebacks of more artists (maybe those a little less famous) so there is less work for you to do and you can please everyone with a single video

Ewtio

I would enjoy more listening parties or diving deeper series. Maybe it would be cool and easier for you if you would do those on patreon only vimeo streams and maybe just put the VOD on patreon after? But I also think you shouldn't really start a new series yet until you finish something else. I mean, just look at drama club (especially Kill It). I know it takes a lot of time to film something as long a drama but I originally joined your patreon for Kill It and it's a bit frustrating to see other things being reacted to instead when you started the series more than a year ago..

Anonymous

Your schedule right now is good. Actually, I’m an NCT fan and I love to see your reaction to them. I didn't subscribe to any other people because your reactions are informative and entertaining. Also, I love watching your videos on live performances, award shows and dance videos. You’re amazing already, I hope you can do it while having fun PD! :)

Bryn

I agree with a couple other people’s suggestion, which is once you’ve seen a request that you want to do, just send a quick comment, since that’s the only way we know if it’s been interacted with (I’m not sure if you’re aware, but people who have posted comments only get notifications when someone has commented on that comment/community post, not that it’s been liked). I remember when I suggested Pentagon’s Shine Japanese Mv, you made a comment and I was super happy because it meant that you had seen the request and seemed interested in doing that reaction

Rae

Honestly, I love the schedule as it is already. I am a Patreon because I enjoy all the input you give to every reaction. It is genuine, knowledgeable, and honest. I am definitely more of a boy group stan so I enjoy watching those reactions, as well as dramas and even started watching reality tv shows because I enjoy your content so much and how you give such a unique perspective on certain aspects I wouldn't have even considered before. Currently watching iland and treasure content and every time one of those drops my week is made! Watching it on my own is not the same and I always look forward to your commentary and opinions. I know that life is unpredictable so it's hard sometimes to stay consistent in releasing content, but I do not mind waiting at all. As my favorite creator, I prefer you are doing content you enjoy and that you are staying healthy. So please PD, take care of yourself first, and put the content you enjoy doing. I will watch whatever it is that you are putting out because I watch it for you. I had never thought I would watch reality competition shows, but here we are! Thank you for all you do for us and I look forward to more!

Bryn

Also maybe to keep people apprised of what you have on your plate mv reaction wise, posting every week or two what mvs you have in the queue and when you anticipate posting those videos. And since those would most likely be kulture study videos, it can also be posted on youtube, not just here so non patreons can have an idea what videos to expect

CRAYON weiwen

I only subscribed for IZ*ONE/Apink contents and I enjoy it a lot. I know you get heavy requests need to fulfill, just my small opinion to some small things. Schedule need to be done as I'm the stupid who will wait daily for the contents up on Patreon, imagine waiting from my time 10pm-4am guessing whether got contents for my favorite group or not and feel down when there's not. (Even a simple writing comments for daily release is fine) For some short content like IZ*ONE eating trip, the show is fun but have to wait a week for one episode, I watch the remaining episodes in a day and can't look forward to the remaining reaction. (Maybe can try this week 2-3 episodes this show, next week change to other show) I found out there is people move your patreon video to some Chinese webside, I'll still support you here, is happy to see you become a WIZ*ONE.

Anonymous

Just reading through the comments and the one which suggested the schedule is probably the best, so non-patreons are also aware, so if they do want something in particular they know when to become a Patron for. Also, the idea of responding to requests so people are aware that it has been seen and multiple people don't suggest the same thing I used to alternate my payment, so I would pay for 2 months and then leave and then come back and catch up on content. But this would be mainly because of my financial situation. But I would always looks forward to coming back and catching up and watching your reactions. Recently they did the year subscription so I've just paid for it in one go coz I think it's really worth it. My point is that a lot of us (what I have gathered from the comments above) watch for you and to support you. So, I hope you stick to something which makes you happy but also which you can sustain and you don't burn yourself out Your live streams are also really fun because you're open and you don't hold back, but you could just do this when you want to sit down and have a chat. It doesn't have to be scheduled if you don't want to. Edit: just seen a comment which suggests reacting to a lot of things in a live stream and just uploading that. I think that would be an amazing idea, as someone who enjoys watching twitch whilst I'm doing chores or work and its longer so I wouldn't have to constantly switch to another vid

Catrin

I joined the patreon for RTK reactions, and initially I thought I'd stay until I'd gone through the back catalogue that was relevant to the groups I like (Ateez, Oneus etc.). I stayed because I started watching a few of your variety reactions and really enjoyed it. I love your personality and insight, and especially your honesty. I think for a little while I was a bit frustrated with the way the patreon worked, just because some of the stuff you reacted to that I watched most had quite inconsistent upload schedules, for example something like Jangstar. Or sometimes I'd watch something (like the first part of Victon's Running Man) where you'd talk about there being a second part, but then there never being a reaction to that. However that did kinda have a silver lining - because I wanted to get my moneys worth on patreon I started watching your variety reactions to groups I'm not really into, and I'm really enjoying it! I've never really vibed with NCT's music, but I gotta say, thanks to you I'm really loving all of their variety content. Overall, I'd say I'm happy with the way the patreon works right now. I like that there's a range of groups you react to, and the boy group/girl group days seems like a fair way to go. Also really look forward to iland on Fridays. I'd personally be happy with the sacrifice of dropping down some of your series you react to to once every two weeks, in exchange for either picking back up some reactions you've missed, or maybe like someone else in the comments had suggested, a dedicated requests day. All in all, yours is definitely the best patreon I've been a part of, and I really love reading all the comments and opinions on videos - it's refreshing to have such a non-toxic environment to appreciate kpop in.

Leen

Hi 🤍 Ok so I love you and i genuinely appreciate YOU and your opinions thats why I become a patron in the first place! and im glad you r uploading more videos this year! But for me I feel like i would like a new series besides reactions, for example؛ talk about your fav MV’s or even beside KPOP like movies and stuff I really want to know your predecessor side more, bc I like your thoughts on things, But you are doing amazing sweetie lol;) (and sorry for my english im not fluent) .

M

Hey PD, I feel like you enjoy doing livestreams a lot. One thing that I'd be down to watch is a patron exclusive livestream with a bunch of bg variety stuff on Monday and gg on Tuesday, then just upload the whole thing with no editing on Patreon (with timestamps if possible). I know it makes things a little messy, but you could interact with patrons that way and go through a bunch of content like that (and less work without having to edit). I personally pay for gg content (pretty much all of it) and my token bg (skz lmao), but I know it's the other way around for a lot of patrons (bg Stans). Everyone has different preferences and that's totally cool, but you won't be able to please everyone, so you should try and make it fair between different types of content and mostly watch longer format things that you enjoy (I know you like seventeen a lot, so pls don't drop it unless you're not feeling it anymore). I agree with ppl who say that the requesting system you have going on right now is not ideal. At the same time I don't know exactly how to make it better. Is it possible to make maybe a poll where people can nominate content and others can vote on what they think you should watch? Is there a google form that does that, idk lol Either way, I'm still enjoying the content you're putting out now, so not changing anything could be just as fine and doing your best is all we can ask for :) Good luck!

jaeminono

Hey PD! I love the schedule that you have currently, but I totally understand that it gets a bit overwhelming. I had a suggestion about introducing non-patrons to your Patreon. I know you mention it in your youtube videos. Although I have been following your channel for almost 3-4 years now, I only became a patron around October of last year. I had no idea what you were actually reacting to or content you were putting out for patrons. I only found out when I actually decided to become a spring tier patron just to support you since I was enjoying your youtube content. However, after I actually become a patron and saw all the summer tier content, I upgraded. You put out sooo much content and like you said, a lot more than most others. I feel like it is a shame that non-patrons have no way of knowing that. I'm not sure how to actually address this but it was just a thought I had. As a mainly boy group stan, you have gotten me into so many girl groups and I enjoy all the survival shows like I-land and Treasure Box. As for the "do whatever days" like you mentioned, I hope you can do some fun videos as well, like others have commented previously, such as just reacting to meme videos or games like guess the song, etc... I hope you don't overwork yourself and genuinely just have fun with videos you put out instead of feeling pressured to upload a certain number of videos or stick to a schedule. Thank you for everything you do PD!

Send out a survey and ask your audience what content of yours they like the most. Use that to figure out where to put your effort, and what to cut. Don't let the loudest/angriest of your audience steer the ship on behalf of everyone else. If that means you lose some subs, you should be ok with that. People will always come and go. Hopefully clearing out more space for you to really crush the most popular stuff and maybe make space for your own passion stuff will result in more subs coming in that offset the losses.

Sara Westby Hoel

Hi i was going to write so much, but It’s already been said. What I can say though, my ult group is bts and they have an ocean of content you can check out, on your own or a video. Run!bts is hilarious and works in some ways like going seventeen, you won’t need to watch them all in order, I and so many others can recommend you some episodes to watch. Bon voyage is their travel series where they go on vacation and spend their time doing whatever, it’s really fun and chill and you get a whole other side to them. There’s also so many short-lived variety series that are amazing. I would personally HIGHLY recommend GOT7 Hard carry (multiple seasons, absolutely hilarious) and finding skz (stray kids) ☺️ I also think that you can watch an episode and then decide whether or not you wish to continue it. We all have different likes and dislikes, just because you start a show, you don’t need to finish it if you’re not that into it. Just do you. And don’t over extend, I really love your content and you thoughts and ideas, that’s the most important part of your channel. Stay healthy ☺️

I'd be fine with a couple less Patreon videos, though I'd actually prefer a couple more YT reactions. I like the Throwback Thursday videos you've started doing. I can't really watch live streams anymore since I'll be working full time. I guess what I'd love to see is more of you interviewing idols. I know you're worried about audio & video quality over whatever platform you'd use, but if you get the chance to talk to someone I'd love to see you give it a chance.

I love the idea of the 3 boy group and girl group videos a week. I suggest for youtube just upload one video a day to help with the algorithm. I would love if you did the deep dives again and keep watching live stages/studio choom/etc/. I feel that like depending on the album it'll be less time consuming to do since you do not have to edit a lot. If possible, for just patreons, I would like a list of videos you have watched and will not publish or will not react to something for x reason. It's a little frustrating when you mention that you're going to react to something and then it's just not mentioned again. And like others have said, it'd be nice to get comments on the community. It sometimes feels that we're just speaking to a void and I think it will stop some requests if they see that it's on a do not react list. But I do know the controversy of this since some people get offended when people don't like content of their fav group. Honestly, i'm good with how it is now, i just want listening parties again/diving deeper again.

Tbh I'm not really a multistan or anything, there is few artists I actually "stan stan" (of which 90% are male tbh) and otherwise, when there are songs I like I just listen to them, it's not bound to anything. But generally these reactions are often a way for me to discover new music and artists, and of course I'm even happier when there are reactions to those groups I specifically love! In fact, I'm SOLELY here for song, mv & album reactions and listening parties, so no show, drama reactions etcetera (though that might change once Kingdom starts!) I just love this channel because the art of music and filmmaking is being discussed and appreciated with honesty (and also because I kind of enjoy the same type of music as you). Personally speaking, I'm a huge fan of more detailed breakdowns that also focus on filmmaking aspects a lot. Though I'm usually only watching MV& album breakdowns and reactions, I still decided to support the Patreon for that very reason (though I would never mind more DAY6 reactions hehe). ANYWAYS, well it's just an idea for now, but: You're a filmmaker, right? So wouldn't it also be an idea for you to break down MV's, songs, albums, etc. that you specifically think are just your cup of tea or are well-made in general? And then break it down in detail? I'm not talking about new releases, but maybe even releases that happened five, maybe even ten years ago. It might sound vague but it's just this rough idea I had in mind, sorry if I can't explain myself too well…

PD I will literally love any and all content you put out. I am especially loving these throwback videos, and I love the new intensity you've been able to put into Kulture Study videos since you've been being particular about the MVs you react to. I also think your podcast has been a very great idea, and you're talking about some really good stuff as well, so definitely keep going with that. If you were going to do anything new, I would say dive back into your roots and get more into film stuff again, because as an fan of yours I would love that stuff, but I also think it would be very good for you as well! HOWEVER! What I would most like to see as a fan is for you to take rest when you need it, and only ever make the content that YOU are excited to make, the stuff that makes you feel good :)

Matea Luke

I like how things are now, all I’m going to say is I am always down for more skz content!! They’re my ults and I love watching you react to them and they have so much content that just makes you crack up cause they’re just the biggest goofs

I would love more listening parties, I love knowing what you think about the B sides and not only one song

Andrea

What I would love is maybe a blast from the past/tbt/nostalgia style reaction maybe once a week. I admit that I don't care too much about reality shows and varieties and I mostly watch the channel for the MV/song reaction&analysis - they help to nurture my appreciation for the complexities of kpop and its artistic tendencies. Since your content covers the last 3-4 years, I would certainly love a dive into the past.

Boothy

Personally I started here because of hotel del luna as I'm a really big iu fan and these days I mostly watch the girl group content especially everything izone related. I've also enjoyed watching the running girls alot even if long episodes is sometimes hard to make time for. I consider the little I pay to be well worth it and I see myself being here for quite a while still

Diana

I agree with what someone said in an earlier comment about managing the requests. Since there are so many patrons, and so much content out there, it's humanly impossible to get to everything all the time. I don't think replying to each and every post from the community tab is feasible either (I work with social media in recruitment, I know it can be pretty insane 😛). But maybe like an update post? Of what things from the requests you think can be fitted into this or that week or month, things you are considering but don't have a plan for yet, things you still have ni clue for...I think sorting those our would be the tricky part. Don't know if you have the time for that. But if anything, it would be a nice improvement, in my opinion. Content-wise, I'm one satisfied "customer/club member" lol I'm more of a binge-watch type of person, so in reality, my biggest concerns are waiting a whole week for my favorite shows, like now with GoSe or I-Land, but that's my own issue hehe Outside of that, if maybe cutting down the number of girl/boy group reactions would free uo your schedule to maybe work on other improvements, I'm more than fine with that

Andrea

I sent the post by accident before it was finished, sorry ... but I would love a video here and there on some of the truly essential songs from the groups that are kinda overlooked by the current stan culture and new fans - Girl's Generation, Bigbang, G-Dragon, Block B, Infinite, B1A4, Exo, Jonghyun and others. Maybe some of your favourites from the pre-channel era or a series that goes through a list of TOP 10 from each year (pre 2016) ... But that is just an idea, :) Stay strong, we love you!

mssmercedes

Okay I'm not sure what's going on I've left this comment three times but when I come back to check what people are saying it's not there anymore so fourth times the charm I guess. I'm definitely glad that you're aware you post more content than most other creators on here cuz that was going to be my first point don't sell yourself short you are doing a lot. I understand always wanting to evolve and make changes I think the best way to do it though is to wait until some shows finish so that your plate can be a little bit emptier before embarking on a whole new process so looking at the shows that have a finite number of episodes I might be helpful to estimate when you will have time to start doing new content without burning yourself out. My favorite content here is the alternating of k-dramas and survival shows LOL yes I like the long stuff I know. My recommendation for "something else" would be maybe looking through the community tab and taking shorter form requests (MVs or variety stuff that's less than 10 minutes) and doing them on a live stream so we have the social interaction aspect as well as the music and video opinions. That way you can also set the timing of the streams based on what works best for your schedule. Overall I've been a patron on and off throughout the time based on what you've been checking out cuz like I said I tend to come for the drama or survival show but I've never thought it wasn't worth it even on a month where I'm not resubscribing I always assume that I will be back. 😁

jaeminono

Also, just thought of something PD! At the beginning of every week, maybe you could send out a poll of the requests people put in the community tab. So, you can just use that to see what you will check out for the week to cut down on filming several things. This doesn't really apply to the series you have going on, but like other live stages, new series, listening parties, diving deepers, or any other content, etc...

I came for gidle, I stayed for you. Honestly what I love about this patreon is how personal it feels, I get an almost behind the scenes look into the Form of Therapy channel. Regarding the content in the past month or so, I do agree that it's been a little slower but honestly? VERY well justified and during those conditions I wouldn't want it any other way, mental health be important (also you can't order technology around once it gives up on ya). As to what I'd like in terms of content, I absolutely love your suggestions about random creative videos or vlogs, I feel like those could even break up the monotone-ness of your sessions for you and it'd be more healthy. ALSO, I said this on a livestream before, longer videos should be watched in a comfy setting like a bed and I see no reason as to why you yourself PD should follow different rules. Patreon content is comfy content, so GET COMFY DAMMIT.

As a patron who has come and go (and then came back), this was mostly due to the fact that I subscribed for a specific group only. I honestly don't mind the other content you upload because I can just watch that when I have nothing to do. I like the current schedule as it is right now, as you cover more bases with it. It's fair for everyone. If there's something I want, I have been waiting for a new Japanese artist M/V reaction. I practically binged your Japanese artist M/V reactions on my first sub with you, and I really enjoyed your reactions to them. I hoped to see a new JP artist reaction but because of drama club, that hasn't been the case. I understand adding it back to your Friday schedule is not viable as it is; just do it whenever you want. Off topic but how old is your PC system? If it's been years, an upgrade is much needed but beware, desirable PC parts have been rather scarce.

Amberrr

I still love the reactions most, but it would be more helpful if there would be some kind of suggestion page where all of our reaction requests were actually listed for everyone and pd to clearly see. I feel like a lot of good stuff gets lost in the ‘community tab’

Rina

While i do really appreciate and enjoy you reactions, i would love to see some more communicative videos. Like talking about different interests and aspects of kpop... maybe just deep dives into different themens of kpop, or talking about your favourite music videos that stay in your mind... things like that. I think videos like that could also open up discussions between viewers, which i would find really interesting. But also, i think as long as you share what you're passionate about, that's the most honest and interesting content!

Emi R.

I love your content and have ALWAYS thought I got my money’s worth so I’m completely okay with you scaling back on the number of videos to free up time for something new! Suggestion: what about movie night once a month? PD’s choice, it could be Korean or from some other genre? I really enjoy having discussions with my friends after a good thought provoking movie and would enjoy sharing that with you! I was fully invested in the discussions from It’s Okay Not To Be Okay and an occasional movie night is less of a commitment than a full drama 😉

I've been here on your Patreon for almost 2 years without unsubscribing and I can definitely say that the Patreon improved a lot from the time I first joined so I just wanna say thank you for always keep trying to improve it. I think one thing you could do like other people suggested is more communication. Most of the people don't mind your breaks on the schedule if you let us know for how long you are going to be away and if they know what they are going to get after you come back it's even better. So the idea of having the schedule ahead of what you are going to react it's great for people to not get frustrated waiting. I really liked in November and December that you pinned a post with what you were planning to do for the next month for the longer series like drama club...it would basically be the same idea for the varieties that have more episodes but are short like 4 to 10 episodes or something...pick some to react and if you don't like some of them let us know what you will drop and what will continue. I understand that posts/content/groups that have more likes are reacted more often and I'm fine with that but like someone said above it would be nice to know that "ok this series will not be reacted as often but....how often then?". Other suggestions that I saw in the comments that I liked: 1) Someone suggested to do a livestream exclusive first for patreon with your comeback reactions live then you could cut and edit only the reactions you wanted to put on youtube later and use this livestream as a perk for the spring tier. I think it's a nice idea to add more value to the spring tier so anyone impatient for the reactions could watch the livestream or the playback later. Also this could reduce the amount of reaction requests on the community tab since those aren't even for exclusive patreon content and we could remind you of the most recent comebacks on the chat live. And we could share immeadiately after your reaction our impressions together with you. 2) As I said before, a schedule ahead with what you are going to react is nice not only for us on patreon but for people interested in subscribing. You could post the schedule on youtube instead of only the website. And also if you are not enjoying a series or whatever you are watching there's no problem in dropping it...just let us know if you are really dropping it or not. 3) I like your chill livestreams also so when you came up yesterday with the idea of the weekly livestream just to chat I really liked. Also the deep dives could be a good idea to come back...you don't need to do it every week...maybe once a month or every other month when you find a group interesting. You could record it on your own or do it live...so you can get the b-sides suggestions from the community here in a poll or in the comments. 4) People also request listening parties all the time so maybe you could do it also live here on the vimeo stream with sound and that would be then posted on patreon after it finishes without much editing and posted later on youtube without sound. This could also be a perk for the spring tier At the end of the day PD, you can't react to everything everybody requests so you will not please everyone all the time. The same way that you want to make us happy providing us content, we don't want to see you burn out because people want this or that content. I don't think you need to change radically the type of content you provide now unless there's something new that you really want to do then I'm all for you to try new things to expand it.

I appreciate what you're saying. Progress is healthy. So is the questioning of the course of the channel. I watch for your insights into the small handful of groups I follow. Truthfully not really interested in most of the shows mentioned on the channel. But enjoy you're passion.

Hit the wrong key. PD take a day off. Take care of your mental health.

WagZak

podcasts and discussions are by far my favorite content from you I'd really love to see those back again even if its not weekly

Dianne

I started being a patron back in October or November I think because of TREASURE and that was the time that you had some breaks in between but that was fine with me because I watched a lot of old videos. I agree with some people here that the schedule was great because I personally just check your patreon when there's a scheduled video that I want to watch but when the schedule disappeared, I often find myself sad when there's no new content. Regarding requests, since you can't react to all of it. maybe you can just react to the most requested videos on the community tab. To be honest, I stopped my subscription for Feb because of the few uploads so I decided to wait for the videos that I wanna watch to accumulate first and which is why I subscribed again this month, so I can watch the Feb and March videos. hehe. I also got quite disappointed with the unkept promises sometimes but nevertheless, it's still fine for me and I understand. Although, I'm here mostly because of TREASURE, I still watch a lot of your contents so thank you for reaching out tp us for our feedback.

I'm going into my 3rd month as a Winter tier on this Patreon. Am wondering if you've stopped doing the monthly personalized gift boxes. I'm thinking I should go into a lower tier because I've realized $100USD/month is a lot for me to handle. I originally subbed JUST to watch ALL of your Loona content and I did in less than a week. Thought about cancelling it right then and there. Then I scrolled through the page and I saw Twice and Blackpink content. And you've done Running Girls which I'm going to dedicate a day to binge watching those episodes. I'm happy with what you're putting out since your comeback last month. Just keep it going!
