This is actually the CIX Album I would recommend you the least based on what I know of your taste 🤣

imo CIX’s most “kpop” style album is probably chapter 2 hello strange place with numb as the title track. it’s also their most cohesive album and my favorite personally. CIX are planning to have 2 more comebacks this year and a japanese song releasing on the 14th, so maybe if you don’t want to check out the albums, you could see if you like their new comebacks and then check further after that.

I really think all the other ep are a lot more interesting and more along the “kpop” style!! I appreciate this album because it satisfied my want to really hear their vocals especially bx and it’s like my go to study playlist but the other albums really hit different in my opinion!

as others said, this is probably the last album i would have recommended based off what i know about your music taste lol. i think you would love all the other albums so honestly i recommend just starting from the beginning and working your way through the albums!

i was honestly kind of sad to see you check out this album because i knew it wouldn't live up to what Cinema offered. their previous releases would have left a much better impression i think? although i guess the b-sides are relatively western. oh yeah, and Round 2 is such a bad song lol the chorus is so flat :(

I definitely agree with the previous comments. I didn’t think you’d vibe with this album because it really is ballad heavy which isn’t my thing either most of the time. I still love their vocals on the album and the a cappella portion of round 2 really drove me wild I loved it so much. I second the opinion about at least checking out the album with Numb as the title track. Numb and especially Rewind are really fun to listen to in my opinion. (The songs of theirs I have on repeat are jungle, what you wanted, move my body, numb, and rewind.)

I would definitely recommend their earlier albums because I do feel like their most recent album was a bit different from what they usually do. I do think their other albums fit your taste better.

I would say this EP is their most...experimental(?). It's very different from their other things. I've been told they at least had, if not still do the same producer(s) as some EXO songs and their first two EPs really reflect that. This EP I'm personally still on the fence about, really depends on my mood tbh

Yeah I have to agree with everyone - the 4th EP was my least fav album - DEFINITELY check out the other albums - CINEMA was my fav on the album

YES! i think you should definitely check out the other EPs, PD. This EP was good, though it is my least favourite out of all their releases. So it speaks to how well their other albums are produced in comparison :)

Tbh this is their worst EP. I would really really recommend basing your opinion off their b-sides off EP 1,2 and 3 because they're phenomenal!!

To reply to your question, yes, please do check other EPs because this one obviousely was an experimental new sounds of them. This EP doesn't represent the whole CIX discography but rather odds out. Please give them another chance and try other EPs. Thank you in advance😊

i knew you wouldn't like this EP... it has 2 rnb songs and a ballad lol. but please please react to their other stuff. maybe try doing Chapter 1 or Chapter 3 next? or maybe their full album hehe. the thing is that you won't get CIX's music until you listen to their whole discography first. please PD!
