Connor (Cyndr)

Jang Geun-won is a really fascinating character, and there's so many ways they could have taken him and I'm not really sure which way I would go if I were writing this story. I definitely think something had to happen to Yiseo to kinda be a climactic stamp to Saeroyi's development at this point and to further tie the revenge drama into the romance so it feels like a single story. As much as this episode kinda slowed down the show, I think all of these things had to happen to tie all of the loose plots into a single plot as we near the end of the show, and they definitely ended it on an exciting note! Also only hardship and the threat of losing something could wake someone like Saeroyi up and remind him what's important to him.

Why you gotta make us wait PD😭😭

i’m so excited for your reactions to the next episode 😭

Angie

this is the episode where i hated the show and it started going so downhill for me...i HATE the plot turn. It went so out of left field, but im intrigued to see you react to it lol.

Oh my! This is my favourite kdrama ever! Hopefully I can get to enjoy your other drama club episodes after I've watched all of this with you all. Also this is important to me, be a survivor not a victim ❤️

I know some people dislike these final few episodes bc it starts to focus on this romance here. But to me it feels natural. Saeroyi is so close to completing his revenge and having everything he worked for. But I mean, what’s next? What happens after he completes his revenge? Will that sustain his happiness for the rest of his life? Who knows! But a person he loves to share his life with might do that! So I like the road they’re heading down here because it makes it feel like the lives of these characters will still continue even after the show stops. And also saeroyi is so dense, he definitely unfortunately needed to sort of be slapped in the face by something bad to realize his feelings for yiseo. Hope you guys are doing okay btw

I would have loved their love pentagon just end up in a weird poly cluster. Man, THAT would be the shit! XD

Harley

Seeing PD be a Jang Geunwon thirster makes me want them to watch Her Private Life since his role in that is so different from this one lol

Amanda Araujo

damn the ending of this episode still hits hard.... cant wait to see your reaction to the next episode omg

What really hit hard about Saeroyi in the end is he ultimately faced the same wronging his father did. The camera work was the same as his fathers as he got hit by the car and rolled down the hill. And both him and his father got hit by the same person. I wonder if Geun-won had deja-vu

Fun Fact: Did you know that aside from V singing a song for the OST of Itaewon Class, Verivery was also part of the OST? Their song is called With Us and I also love it. I feel like people always mention V's song (which is extremely beautiful) but Verivery's song goes unnoticed while it also deserves some love as well, specially because they were still practically babies and I'm always thankful to Itaewon Class for giving them a big opportunity to sing for such a big drama even tho they were still practically new.

i think geunwon went to sooah to see if she still hated him. i think if she had accepted his feelings n the fact that they were perfect for each other - duh- he wouldn't have kidnapped yiseo n went thru with this plan. i think that was really his final attempt to save his morality. cuz like he knows that hes fucked up but he also knows that shes fucked up n maybe he thought she would realize that n maybe it would all be worth it but in the end she didnt accept so he decided to go all out.

also i think this is a telling moment for geunsoo as well. hes been becoming a bad person but maybe this moment when he saw just how bad geunwon has become n how saeroyi sacrificed his own life for him will steer him back to his old self.

Now I’ve been wondering if you ever watched Hwarang because that was the first show I ever saw the actor who plays Jang Dae-hee in and it was major whiplash to see him in this and then going to Vincenzo. 😅 He is such a good actor because you really have to second guess your self because he changes so completely with different roles.
