idk why the english subtitles have these issues because i watched with portuguese subs and i went check the hospital scene and they do say the lines as "yeah he is handsome" and "i need to make a call, i'll leave you two alone" but in portuguese

after i heard your comment about the dialog where hong yu-chan said "mr cassano, a man or a monster?" it supposed to be what you said like "could you perhaps be a monster?" and i agree with that because i remembered that dialog and i have watched vincenzo, so i was trying to make sure and go to my netflix account and use the english sub not the cc and go to that scene, and you know what? the sub said "you can't be a monster, right?". And the part when his mom meet vincenzo, she said "and mysterious, i think" in my english sub she said "she is indeed handsome". So i dont get it, we both use the english sub, but the subtitle are different between my english sub and your english sub. Maybe someone know where is the different?

so they alluded to it earlier in the series (LOL we're only 3 eps in), but the reason choi myunghee accepted the position at wusang is because the prosecutor's office she was at was not only corrupt, but run by the sexist two guys that she basically told to screw themselves; she's definitely just as corrupt as them, if not more so, but she couldn't use her power to its full potential in that office the way she can now. so yeah. zumba lady is fucking evil. i can't wait for you to see just how messed up she is!

Whats weird is they changed the subtitles? When I watched this with the subs Cha-Young did tell Joon Woo to speak Korean, so sometime in the past like 2 weeks they edited them? That's so weird

YES THIS EPISODE Vincenzo got me hooked on the first ep but from the end of this episode was where i was even more into and addicted to the show because it happens so many things that you go OH SHIT and yeah choi myunghee definetly is one of the shittiest and more evil person on this show

PD, just a suggestion - if the subs bother you a lot, maybe you can watch from some other website? I'm guessing the video quality won't be as good as Netflix's, but it would at least not distract you too much because of bad subs

Sounds like the subs got messed up or something, so maybe they flipped the subs and ccs for some reason. It might actually be a good idea for y'all to switch between the subs and CC anytime it's messed up and see if they're any better just in case they flipped or it at least refreshes the issue? Just an idea. Anyways WOW I was kind of expecting something bad to happen because of how close they got so quickly and how little motivation there was for anything in the show, but I WASN'T EXPECTING THAT. That was so fucking sudden I missed it the first time while briefly getting distracted and had to rewind. I think this series is about to make a big turn, and I am very excited.

Also like a lot of people said, i think it's the US Netflix that has bad subtitles. I'm in Asian region and I looked at the subtitles they're not bad at all and actually accurate. Maybe you should watch on other sites if the subtitles are too distracting. And be prepared. You're gonna hate Choi Myunghee a lot from now on. She's the most fked up person on this show

PD, sometimes Netflix will bug out and you will get CC even though it's says "English". Either refresh it and make sure you click English, or click CC and go back to Ebglish. TRUST PD, English captions are accurate

I watched this show on a different website (because it was still being released) and the subtitles there are wayy better. Seeing these subtitles make me mad because they're changing the show too much. I'm pretty sure it's a Netflix problem though.

From what others are saying in the comments Netflix might have glitched, because my subtitles are correct and then I switch to the cc and it’s the same as here.

okay the subtitles are super messing with me now too because i know for a fact that when i watched this the first time on my own the line about "hey say it in Korean!" was defs there because I thought it was a really interesting moment and stuck out to me. wtf netflix, why are we changing the subs all of a sudden????

Yeah I think plenty of people have commented on it already but I watched this episode previously and a lot of the points that you pointed out as being wrong on the subtitles were different on the version I watched. Like they were correct before.

I'm in the US netflix and the subs are correct. I even checked the netflix app on my phone and that "yea he is handsome" line is translated correctly
