And I actually don't really like bad people suffer. Experienced it today while watching Penthouse Season 2. Someone bad got it handed to them and I still felt bad for them even though they deserved all of it.

honestly out of all of the idols turned actors and idols/actors, Taecyeon is for sure one of the best I've ever seen (especially after watching this drama)

Holy shit this episode was awesome! What a great way to progress the plot, and the pacing of the episode was great, and THE TWISTS. Really excited to see where this goes. I knew Cha-young and Taecyeon's character were both listed as main roles in the show, so I was really excited to see how they filled their positions, since they weren't very prominent early on, and this was probably the best way they could have possibly done it!

I'm bilingual (learned not grown up with it) and also switch up my pronounciation according to the language I'm speaking. Like you said PD, otherwise it just doesn't flow correctly. but while i'm on the language topic.. my first language is german and you kind of switched the vowels in the word Schadenfreude ;D

this episode is so freaking GOOD and i love how it gets even more insane man this show is amazing i cant wait to see your reactions for some scenes that got me screaming and MAAAN i cant wait for you guys to see taecyeon as the bad guy because my god he did an insane great job at acting and i also get glee from seeing horrible people suffer thats why this show gives me life

Honestly this drama is amazing. FOr the first time I actually felt satisfied with the "justice". All the stress that penthouse gives, vincenzo releases lol. THey dont play around PS. Taecyeon is a great actor when you are looking for a new drama you should give Save Me a try. SUPER GOOD

Honestly, one of my favorite things about this show are all of the twists. A lot of shows these days are kinda predictable and the big "twists" are easy to guess. But I was constantly surprised at the twists in Vincenzo. I remember watching this episode the first time and being SHOOK when Taecyeon came out of that car. Cant wait for you two to see the rest of the show!

Also, as an English speaker, I personally found no issue with Taecyeon's English. The pronunciation of his English lines was good that I had to google where he grew up because I was like "he has to have lived in the States at some point." And I swear to god, the way he says "OK boss" is exactly how I sound when I talk to my boss 😂

I would like to say that I don't like to see people suffer if they are evil but... I've definitely felt satisfied while seeing people I did not like suffer (and it's hard to not be liked by me lmao). I want to see the zumba lady suffer so BAD but I want her to watch Vincenzo and Cha-young DESTROY her and her reputation.

I watched Vincenzo when it first aired and I fell in love with it so much, I convinced my Mom to watch it. We ended up going on a binge and finished it in 3 days. Now my Mom is obsessed. I'm so glad I decided to watch it a third time with you guys. I love seeing your reactions and I can't wait for you to see the coming episodes. It gets super crazy and exciting! Also, I too take pleasure from watching bad people suffer. And Vincenzo is chief's kiss in making this happen. One of the main reasons I love it so much.

I'm 100% a person who enjoys Schadenfreude (probably also one of my favourite terms from my language) and I can sympathise with what you described here PD. I also catch myself cheering for something bad happening to characters on shows or movies, for some like GoT, House Of Cards or Penthouse it's the only reason I keep watching a show, because I wanna see some characters get what they deserve. Sometimes I feel like that even in real life which is even worse eg in politics or sports (not to a violent extent though). It's not the best character trait to have but I feel like as long as it's with harmless things & you arent too obvious with it, it's not too bad.

imo Taecyon's character had no reason to support FL if he didn't genuinely like her. Realistically, on her own she wouldn't have been able to cause trouble. So he has no motivation to spend time and effort on her if he wasn't actually enjoying it.

I think most people enjoy bad people suffering and good people getting their revenge. And I think it's because in real life it doesn't happen that often. For me I don't feel sorry to see super bad people suffering 😏.

i agree with you PD. I'm trilingual (learned Korean in school) but I grew up with 2 languages (English and my native language) so I'm pretty comfortable switching between those two languages. Whenever I speak in my native language I don't pronounce words that were borrowed from English in English pronunciation lol. It's super weird. So I don't get why some people criticize Taecyeon's English

I love doctor who (David tennant and Matt Smith's runs were chefs kiss) and when you mentioned the similarities in this episode, I was like wow I would have never thought of that. Now I want to go back and watch doctor who again lol Also I am bilingual in Spanish and English (grew up learning both), so I can definitely relate to code-switching. As well, the spanglish flow sounds so weird but at the same time easy to mix that my mom would always say to either speak english or spanish when I would mix them.

OOHHH MAANNN! I'm watching this for the first time with you guys and it's blowing me away. Only episode 4 and this has to be one of the best kdramas I've ever seen. These twists and the revenge plots are superb and I'm actually glad Vincenzo doesn't back down. He's ruthless to the very end and I am living for it
