Despite the audio not being great since you have yet to find an HD version (but the suggestions above are good!), rewatching this makes me so happy because of the BGM, it makes the show better. I totally love the lighthearted relaxing music. I smiled throughout the episode!

Everyone says Season 4 is the most healing but I personally like Season 2 the most they go to Hawaii and do "friendship dates" where they get paired off and you get some really nice interactions between different members plus you obviously know Hawaii is gorgeous

It's odd to see the production quality of BV1 after being so used to the quality like In The Soop. Their production team definitely grew with them. In here, you often see staff running around the background, in later seasons they get better at hiding themselves.

There was so much background music in this that I don't remember being in the actual show. haha. Did QDeoks put that in for copyright or something? Or is it in BV and I'm just forgetting it? I'm glad you're going in order. I have the same brain thing. So I feel you. haha

I find it hilarious that Jimin left his bag on the bus in Bon Voyage season 1 and then forgot his bag again in In the Soop, but the manager got it for him. They really haven't changed all that much. Lol

You mentioned how this episode started without any set up and that's actually because there is an episode zero! It's free and only 8 minutes long on vlive, and it provides context for the whole show

I was wondering the same thing I feel like I don't remember there being this much super loud music especially since it's sometimes playing over while they're talking so I assumed it was edited in.

Yaaay soo excited for this journey with you. First of all I'm the same as you I gotta watch shows from the beginning my friends somehow watch shows out of order and it boggles my mind 🤣 There was an episode 0 which set the premises for the whole of BV and what it is, essentially they will be travelling to different countries without the help of their managers and will be given money to spend, trust me the show gets better and better. I liked the music but It did feel like a lot lol like people already said you can purchase season 1-3 on vlive+ and I definitely recommended it HD is definitely worth it especially as the seasons keep going. I just love seeing them travelling together, this was during Fire era and I believe it was one of their first trips like a holiday not a proper work schedule which makes season 1 even more special, also like in the soop there are behind the scenes for each episode of every season, I'd recommend checking them out too. Anyway can't wait for the next one.

Bon Voyage was my favorite for a long time because it was both relaxing and chaotic lol. I love it, and I love to re watch it when I'm stressed. I'm glad you are enjoying it too so far 🙂

Re-watching this after a long time made me emotional. I was a new ARMY who know nothing about kpop at all.. the fact I end up season one while I thought (V-LIVE) is actually mean (V Taehyung) lol... anyway, thank you so much for your reaction looking forward to the next ep

I’m so glad you enjoyed the episode, PD! I love BV because although they’re filming, I feel like they still get to enjoy themselves. One thing that’s always puzzled me (and maybe other ARMY can help me out) is the way they check in at the airport. They have a check in scene every season I think. Before 2020 I traveled pretty extensively for work. Unless I was checking a bag I hardly ever checked in at the main desk or kiosks and very rarely got a hard copy boarding pass. Nearly every airline has an app where you can check in and they just scan your phone screen at the gate for your boarding pass. Surely with how much they travel and how tech savvy they are they would have airline apps/frequent flyer programs/etc.? Maybe it’s just for content for the show? Anyway, I’m excited for the rest of the episodes! They are such a lovable mess during this season.

I'm so happy to be rewatching this with you! BV is one of favorite BTS contents because I just love watching them being themselves and around each other, it's always so much fun. Also, I lost it when you said "this is so relaxing" like 2 minutes before Jimin lost his bag and the chaos started. I don't think I would use the word RELAXING for this one, but definitely a lot of fun

Also you mentioned Norway! I've been to Oslo for just a couple of days few years back and it's such a nice place, I completely fell in love with it and would love to one day go back and explore the country a bit more. It was definitely weird because I went during summer and the sun never sets there, so I just spent like 48 hours without seeing the night and you go to bed at 2am and the sky is BRIGHT and it's the weirdest and also coolest thing in the world. And also a very expensive place. I don't know if all cities are as expensive as Oslo, but I've never traveled on such a short budget before, like I legit just ate croissants for 2 days because I could only afford 1 proper meal during my time there (best croissants I've ever had though, not complaining here)

I for one LOVE that you are starting from season 1! I've just watched it recently for the first time and enjoyed it a lot not to mention that it's VERY interesting to watch them do all this on a kinda low budget and when ppl mostly don't recognize them. And in general there is a strong wibe of "we are on the cusp of fame but not sure if it goes up or down from now on" which is very fascinating to see!

also there are a lot of amazing moments almost foreshadowing the future like them listening to Coldplay here when they just recently covered their song. And the moment I'm the most interested in watching with you after the sauna. not spoiling what! but it's wild!

Yeah the quality is not what we're used to from BTS now :D but it will be much more enjoyable when you watch it on Vlive. The later seasons get better and better but I love them all, each season has its own unique charm! Since they were all very new at this, Bon Voyage 1 has a very chaotic energy. If you watch all seasons, I think you will really enjoy seeing them get gradually more famous and the overall production quality improve. What remains the same is the members :) I haven't seen BV1 in while and it shocked me how little they changed. They matured, of course, but their personalities and quirks pretty much remained the same!

Yeah I’d say out of the four seasons, season one is definitely the most chaotic lol. Even in season two you can tell they’ve learnt from things that go wrong in season one, and season one is also the one with the smallest budget, in the other seasons they have more staff but I think the idea for season one was a kind of ‘backpacking through Europe with your friends' vibe

Season 1 of Bon Voyage feels like such a feel good throwback show. Things get very chaotic here they loose lots of things. And omg that background music is driving me insane, I too like to just hear the boys talk. But as everyone else was saying seasons 1-3 of Bon Voyage are on V LIVE.

Season 1 of Bon Voyage is very chaotic since it’s their first time doing a show like this. As the seasons go by they get more refined. However the chaos adds to some very funny moments within the show. As for a better quality I’m not sure, I would say to buy directly from Vlive, I believe it’s under the BTS 3rd anniversary present.

All of Norway is mostly expensive. Some things are pretty cheap but mostly everything costs a good amount. Im happy to hear you enjoyed Norway and we all will be happy if you ever came back! There is so much more to explore here, Oslo is the main point but there are alot of big and small places you can explore and find something to your liking! Love summer over here tho, because of the sun but you also feel so refreshed because of how the sky just keeps on glowing with the beautiful sun! Hope to see you back here sometime! <3
