I just wanted to say how much I thoroughly enjoy watching these at work it makes my day go by so fast!! Also I was crying when you finally saw DBSKs Love In The Ice cause that's one of my ult fav kpop songs of all time and they are my ult group and JaeJoong is my ult bias and fav artist ever. I even have Always Keep The Faith as a tattoo. They were my first kpop group I listened to back in 2009. I got to see JYJ twice and Junsu solo tour in NY and TVXQ in NY in 2012!! Anyways an mv i thought of that totally perfect matches the song is BTS Mic Drop the editing in that is just insanely perfect! Thank you for this stream I definitely needed it after the last few weeks Ive had. I always have fun even though I watch it later! Also please take care of yourself PD that's most important!

Omg the throwback... I got into kpop because of DBSK back in 2012. I wasn't a ballad person, but i love theirs to bits! Man, their acapella too. in general, their live performances made me a fan. Side note, they were like 23-21 in that Inkigayo performance which is really crazy if you think about it. People tend to forget how young they were. Also the original version of Love in the Ice is the (superior) jpn one!

Hhahahahha, yes, PD, you're high on TXT's Magic video JK! It's just so funny to see you getting so excited! I also felt like song was kinda sad from first listens, but then the 'everybody clap your hands' part sounds so encouraging and bright, that it lights up the mood. I really like the song! I enjoyed the MV too! (but didn't think you will like it that much hahahha, I couldn't stop laughing at your face when you watched the mv for the first time, it literally was like 'wtf' written on it) I love that bighit went for something so different, and while MV is not too complicated visual wise, I think it has crazy title track quality! Like wtf? Whole Startrack! as always with bighit and txt... I am obsessed with txt's discography! Thank you for the stream, I enjoyed it a lot!

HI PDnim! What you said about business leader and emotional leader is a real thing. fans usually call it dad and mom members (I know, stereotyped gender roles). Some of them have admitted in numerous occasions to play "that role" (ateez seonghwa is a certified mom) and some of them have admitted not to like the nickname (nct dream jaemin said Jeno and him are BOTH dads). I wrote a study about the psychology in children's stories and found out a lot of interesting things. it doesn't matter which parent is the strict figure or the caring figure but we as kids cannot comprehend the complexity of human character so we assign only one role to each person. that's why even when the strict figure shows us love as well, we'll go to get comfort to the caring figure, and even when the caring figure scolds us, we won't take it as seriously as the strict figure. I was raised by a single mom and can say it is a struggle to portray both roles at once for a child's mind. In that case, the witch (role whose mission is to scold and teach a lesson) and the caring mother (role designed to comfort the kid after the struggle they suffered) are seen by the child as two different persons in the same body that transform into each other. that way the child can be scolded and learn a lesson form the same person they will ask for protection without being afraid or resentful towards them. ANYWAY, children' stories nowadays are way too sugarcoated to teach any moral lessons nor human emotion management. sorry for the rant, just wanted to say PDnim was right and why we do assign those roles to people.
