Enjoy it while you can. 🤕

Yess I was waiting for this 🙌 I honestly like the group performance of the pnation trainees a little bit better than the one from the jyp trainees but that's just my preference, I do understand and see what you said btw Woo Kyun jun, the one from pnation that you said it looks like someone, I feel like he looks like kim wooseok from X1/up10tion and also kinda like win from mcnd.

Thabit Ayob

YESS the best survival show in a loong time. A lot of new un-conventional ideas and trainees

Suju13

I think Kai from EXO also did ballet ! And we all know what kind of dancer he is :)

BaoziBang

Kai from EXO, Rocky from Astro, Mina from twice, bang Chan, namjoo, yein from lovelyz, Rachel from April, chaesol from cignature, Lee joon, Victoria. They all learned ballet.

Doyoungismyult

Ten also took some ballet 🩰 ☺️

Malaki.H

kyungjoon looks so much like up10tion wooseok

I mentioned this in my comment under previous episode, but I don’t know if you read all of them, so basically I don’t know how to feel about those former trainees. Also from the point of view of their contracts. I know that being a trainee doesn’t mean they signed anything, but those who are about to debut soon might have and I would say some of them were about to debut for sure…. But besides this, I would prefer if it was in the way JYP and PSY would have asked: “Who would like to try debut soon through our LOUD but risking being thrown out of here?”. But the way it is, it feels like they put them there no matter what and I don’t get from them the vibe, which I get from other contestants. I cannot say they are not good enough, they are talented and it is obvious they trained for some time, for example GyeHun (the shuffle dance guy at the end) for sure! But only Chun Joon Hyuk (the one who sang Versace On The Floor) is a candidate to be one of my favorite ones. But here are my favorite ones from this episode: Sweet Hong (the boy, who speaks really well for his age), he would be a perfect leader of a group, but although he has some potential in dancing, there are much better contestants, so since LOUD is about making groups to debut immediately, I would say he needs to train more. Sean Song (the one, who has YouTube channel) is one of my the most favorite candidates, nearly as Daniel or EunHwi from previous episode, but he is not that much stable and good at rapping. But it would be perfect to have him as a producer. Haruto is amazing dancer and I would love to see some ballet parts in kpop group choreos. I like him more less the same as Sean Song. The only thing I am not sure, if I am not biased by his story, because I do wish him to be an idol

Man, the translations for the Japanese contestants' names are consistently awful in this Kocowa version. Mitsuyuki Amaru somehow became "Mitzgawa"? Koki is "Goki"? I hope they catch it later on, but it's crazy to see something like this in 2021. Especially since this isn't a work of fiction, and is a lot of people's first introductions to these real people. *Update* Okay so I skipped ahead to the next episode and everything seems to clear up. I guess these first two eps were just rough? Does Kocowa use fansubs like Viki?

sandra

kyungjoon reminds me of up10tion's wooseok and TO1's donggeon a little bit, he's so pretty

h

doesn't kyung jun kind of look like xiaojun from wayv?? also the stylist knew what they were doing letting his forehead free.

WiseSmellyLegs

I understand PD wants to pay for watching it, but this "Kocowa version" is a bit random. Not only "Mitzgawa" but also in previous episode, they cut out one whole audition... Since this contestant will be put in a trio for certain reason in the next round, it would be nice to know why... But that whole performance is not anywhere on YouTube, so I cut it out and put on my Google Disk. I hope PD will watch it and also I hope they will not mind, since they already paid for that... https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1PMowhfJzq605wCH7JVH1MSKKirrudumH?usp=sharing

Wiktor

every time I see Junhyeok he reminds me of Hwang Hyunjin (SKZ) and Hwang Yeji (ITZY), as if they had a third sibling.

Wiktor

OH MY GOD HE DOES look like WOOSEOK! omg! he also looks like he has a sister - JINNI from JYPn (JYP new girl group) they look ALIKE!

WiseSmellyLegs

I have written this already as an answer to someone here, but I think it might be better to write it in separate comment. Kocowa did not include one audition, which is kind of important for next round. I know you prefer to watch content on sites, where you pay for it, but you have already paid for that, so I hope it is okay... It wasn't anywhere on YouTube, so I put it on Google Disk: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1PMowhfJzq605wCH7JVH1MSKKirrudumH?usp=sharing

Doyoungismyult

Have you watched the rest of the show yet? If not…these trainees are about to floor you with there talent

Amanda Araujo

man im really liking this show and many of these trainees omg

Jet3

Junhyeok kinda reminds me of Woodz and feel like they have similar vibes; ace at everything ;) Taehun looks like a combination of Junkyu from Treasure and Seonghwa from Ateez.

billie27

Junhyeok looks so much like Kang Daniel to me, they literally have the same eyes, shape of the face... the only difference is that Junhyeok have bigger lips. And actually when you were saying that KyungJun looks like a male idol I don't know why, but I thought about jungwon from enhypen... it's maybe the eyes again lol

Happy to see you reacting to this show. Even though it's not as popular as the mnet shows in my opinion it's the best. In the later rounds, you will see how talented a lot of these guys are not just at dancing and singing but producing as well. Also I really like the stages and production especially for the performances you will see the later episodes.

Briana

I think Kyung Joon looks like SVT's DK. Especially his side profile.

Kpop_Platypus

My first thoughts when JYP mentioned idols who have a ballet/modern background were Kai - who intended to have a career in ballet before auditioning for SM, Astro's Rocky - who took several years of ballet if I remember correctly, and Jimin - who's well known for having done ballet and modern before learning Kpop dance styles; all of whom are considered by dancers and choreographers to be some of the best dancers in the industry. Why? Because their background in classical styles of dance gives them a different understanding of how to move and use their bodies, a consideration for the lines & images they create with their limbs even beyond just doing a move correctly and in synchronicity with the rest of the group. Yes, sometimes it's hard to transition from a classical style to Kpop (I've seen an analysis of Winwin, in particular, that pointed out that he had difficulty w/ some rhythms & movements in his first few years w/ NCT [he did classical Chinese dance]), but there's definitely a bunch of idols who've done it successfully, so if he gives it some thought JYP shouldn't be too worried. (I also want to shout out VIXX's N, who might not have the same reputation as the others I mentioned, but is without a doubt one of the most graceful and elegant dancers in Kpop thanks to his years of study of modern dance.) See you in the next episode, PD!

i'm enjoying loud and i've seen clips of it but i just didn't watch it when it was airing because i wasn't interested but it's a really cool concept, HOWEVER, i'm really disappointed with the fact that they edited something i saw out and released no statement at all, in the original version when they aired clips of kyungjun practicing just before his audition he actually rapped the nword ( I actually have the video still because I had been using it to help get them to address it) that was really disappointing to me because i had seen the pnation win stage and even though i wasn't going to watch i was going to route for him on the sidelines, so knowing he lived in Australia for 10 years and is fluent in english that was really disappointing to see, really made me think too because if they had picked a different clip of his practice we would have been none the wiser i just thought how many idols have done it too and continue to do it but they just never get it aired so i'm non the wiser and people now seeing this edited version would also have no clue that it ever happened, even more so since they silently just removed the clip and didn't release any statement or apology, honestly I find them trying to cover it up really disrespectful an apology at least would have been nice

Izak

I get that kind of but I am not african american either actually I'm black and British and I also didn't learn it on school, I'm not saying that it's impossible for him not to have known but that it's more likely that he would have known, I know lot of people in Australia do know and have known but don't really care, even in Korea, when u watch like smtm there was an episode some years ago where 1 of the constants said it and the look on everyone's faces made it clear they all knew it was wrong, I honestly feel like a lot of people do know and have known all along but don't think that they'll get caught because they don't do it around black people or in public, it's not impossible that he didn't know but personally I think it's more likely that he did regardless like u said yeah its the covering up that made made it worse for me because even if he/they didn't know before they know now and did nothing but try to save themselves and hide it

Izak

If u understand why you shouldn't say it as a non black person, then how don't u understand why u shouldn't say it if its in a song? It's because you're not black, just skip the word. People have no issue skipping curse words but when it's the nword suddenly there's confusion and it's difficult, I don't get that...
