for me its scars then slump, I think maybe the fact that scars has an mv and a choreo that backs it up helps also the emotional aspect of the scars lyrics hits me more

The first few times I watched the MV I would always cry at the finale, at the 2:45 mark just before Han yells "my scars I will show it all". It weirdly didn't affect me the same way when I only listened to the audio? Although I definitely feel the emotions. The visuals (and dance) have such an impact too. Wish they had a dance practice for it. It's a beautiful song and I love that they go the more emotional route for their japanese releases! ❤️

I definitely think Scars is very high up on my list of favorite Stray Kids songs. I don't know what it is about their Japanese releases, but FAM, Scars, and Call are just so good. I can never get enough of them!

I agree with you on the mixing of the song at some parts, if their voice was louder than the instrumental near the bridge part, it would play more to the "desperation" of the song. If you have the chance PD, there was also a live performance of the song where the live vocals and dancing makes the song more emotional sounding. Stray Kids is my ult group so of course I love their Korean songs but the Japanese songs just hit differently. Maybe it's a JYP thing cuz I've noticed I feel the same way about Twice's Japanese songs. You're right that SLUMP didn't have a music video. The "music video" that they released is basically scenes from the anime it was for (Tower of God) and then them in the studio recording (https://youtu.be/7SPnJMGB9u4). The MV for Scars definitely helps add to the emotion of the song and when I looked up the lyric translation I was so incredibly moved. I think this is one of their most touching and emotional songs yet. Personally I'm not sure if I like SLUMP or Scars more. I feel like it really depends on my mood. TOP on the other hand has a special place in my heart. All In is the song I listen to when I have a ton of energy and is good for workouts. Then you have FAM and I just think it's a cute song like Get Cool that makes me smile whenever I hear it. btw there's a b-side called CALL that was released alongside Scars!

My favorite of their Japanese songs is Top, then FAM, then probably All In, I honestly can't rank the rest but they're all fantastic!!

for me, title track wise, slump >>>>> top > scars > all in but that's if i had to rank them because i do like them all!

honestly my only complaint with scars was the lack of lee know lines. i don’t think i really have a ranking for skz japanese tracks because their all special in their own in way.

Well now im going to go listen to Slump since im kinda new to stanning stray kids i dont know a lot of their older songs. Im in love with Scars its totally my type of song and vibe. Emo is my style lol. If you like this type of setting at night with lights check out Onewe Aurora mv its shot all at night outside and its freaking gorgeous!! Also still waiting for Onewe Rain To Be please!! Thank you for letting me know about Slump!!

slump was released last year, so it’s not that old. i recommend that you listen to their mixtape album and others from 2018-2019. a lot of my favorite skz songs are on those albums!!

The song is so good! And they even performed it on "one take", the show where you saw slump for the first time :D It sounds so good live without backing vocals. You should definitively check it out if you liked scars.

No i never put lyrics on when im listening/watching a new song for the first time. After yes. I feel the music i dont need lyrics for that
