Yuqi had her last schedule in China yesterday. She's probably gonna return to Korea in the next couple of days. Don't know if that means that she will start hosting Learn Way Season 2 together with Mijoo but she will at least be back😭.

Me too, really not a fan of endings😭 But this is also kinda the “perfect” time for PD nim to finish Season 1, because……Yuqi is coming back to Korea!! Probably next week, or maybe even this weekend. In her recent Vlives, she also mentioned that she still contacts Learnway’s PD, just randomly asking him if he has missed her LOL She may get busy preparing for Gidle’s new album in December and January, but I’m confident that she’ll return to Learnway sometime next year! So excited!!

I've never commented too much about my personal experience on here but I have never been so attached to a community/creator. In the sense that it really has become a part of my life as it helped me in difficult, crucial times. It helps me see beyond just my life and motivates me. this was one of my favorite shows of these past few months and even tho i really like mijoo i hope after yuqi goes back to korea and has time she gets back maybe for season 3 because it really feels like she and the crew became a family and it always feels so special to watch these episodes with her, even tho sometimes she overwhelms people she always makes them comfortable and makes it feel like they've been friends for a while not that they've just met and that's something i think it's so rare and not only she is like that with the guests but with the crew too which i think it's so incredible, yuqi really has that power to make people WANT to be her friends and want to go along with her shit, but its not only that she has that power over people i also think the kind of relationship she has with the crew wouldn't be possible if Learn Way also hadn't an amazing crew who seems like they're friends with each other and friendly with her since the beginning giving her the space she needed to be herself

If you end up watching the season with Mijoo, be warned that I personally found the first episode to be a bit underwhelming (maybe someone else can give their opinion on the first ep. with Mijoo, I'd be curious). I was almost completely discouraged from watching the rest, but I gave it a chance, and almost all of the other episodes have been really good. She might have just been super nervous for the first episode.

The past few years I have been saying that Yuqi and Chuu just may be my two favorite celebrities on the planet. Not Korean. Not musical artists. Worldwide celebrities. They make me happy in ways I didn't know was possible. You were right in that they are two different people with different charms. But I absolutely love them both. Everything passes, bad things and good things. But I can say that I have thoroughly enjoyed any time spent watching those two. Not a minute wasted because I always leave a happier person. I've been missing Yuqi lately, as her personality is ever so slightly muted in Chinese shows. I hope she's okay after what's been happening to Soojin and Lucas. But yes. These two girls are an absolute blessing to us.

An additional reason could be the fact that C-pop fandoms are extremely aggressive and scary. No wonder Yuqi had to "tone down" herself a lot, especially when co-starring with other Chinese celebrities. When she was on Keep Running, she was severely attacked by antis online for "hitting" Angelababy (a famous actress) in a sports game, even though the whole point of that game was two people hitting each other (with a pillow) until one of them fell down. On Stage Boom she was also blamed by a lot of viewers when she cried and questioned the fairness of the performance ranking. Even though I personally agreed with the ranking, I could totally see why she was upset, because the judges refused to tell her the reason why she was ranked the lowest. There's no transparency. That's the unfair part. And on top of all that, there's also a lot of govt censorship norms (which are intentionally very vague and volatile, and no one knows exactly what they are - this is a "classic" political tactic to restrict freedom of speech). But anyway, it's just very hard to be a C-pop idol. They all need to be extremely careful whenever they say or do anything in public, for fear of getting "reported" (this term means something very specific and scary in China...) or even arrested. This makes it extra hard for entertainers like Yuqi to showcase their comedic talents, because Yuqi's comedy style is based on language, and is very creative and unfiltered. And you know...creativity needs freedom. You don't really need to be happy in order to create great comedy (some even say that comedy is rooted in tragedy and sadness), but you need to be free. That's why I believe that the lack of creative freedom is one of the root causes for "Yuqi Power" to become more and more muted in the Chinese entertainment industry. Yuqi is naturally a very artistic and creative person. She will slowly suffocate in an environment that's discouraging and even hostile towards free and rebellious souls like hers. p.s. I say this as an ethnically Chinese person and C-pop fan. I like a lot of Chinese singers, idols and actors. I wish nothing but the best for them. That's where this deep frustration comes from. It's amazing for Yuqi to be so active and popular in China and perform in her own native language, and to be so close to her family and make so many new friends there. But ultimately, I believe that K-pop (and maybe even Hollywood?) is the most suitable and sustainable environment for her as an entertainer and artist. You know, when she kept saying on Learnway that she's "international" and she wanted the show to go international, I could not agree more. She is a cosmopolitan girl. Home is where she belongs but the world is the stage for her to take. (AND NOW SHE'S FINALLY BACK IN KOREA!!! Can't wait for Gidle's new album and hopefully a new season of Learnway with Yuqi!)

Why I can’t find some episodes? I searched for yuqi, learn way and learnway and I can’t see it 🤔
