Wooo! The Intro and Luna make this whole album worth it, imo. Oneus seems to excel in this sageuk fusion style sound 😋 I hope they revisit it again someday in the future. Also kinda unrelated - idk if you already filmed the Billlie listening party(you probably have, tbh) but the lyrics to all the songs are kinda significant - I won't get into all of it but almost every song directly relates to their "lore" and overall storyline they have going in on (if you watch the two cinematic teaser films they made for Ring x Ring, you would have a better idea). It just makes the whole album very cohesive imo.

Thank you PD, this album is awesome. The members said they put theirs lives in this album as they planned it even making a PPT for the company as to how there were going to do the Tittle Luna (because belive it or not IT WAS NOT THE TITTLE TRACK it was for the Theater series and Seoho said is too good to not be a titlle and they push for it) They even made the MV for Luna Theater Vers. that has a different dance break and dance. Seoho said RBW should ask for his oppinion on the next tittle tracks as they won 1st. place with Luna and he was the first who said it was title track worth it🤭. This is an interview with the producer of Luna maybe you can check it on your own its in korean https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z-UCLvRpfow&list=LL&index=188&ab_channel=%EB%AF%B8%EC%B9%9C%EA%B0%90%EC%84%B1%28%EA%B0%90%EC%84%B1%EC%82%AC%EC%9A%B4%EB%93%9C%29 I am happy you liked the album, hope to see more Oneus long content here next year maybe do the Show me the MWM season 2 it will be 1 year old on February. Have a nice week and Happy Holidays

I was sooo excited for your reaction to We're in Love!! Loved the LP, have a great Monday

Also Were in Love has credits for Leedo and Seoho as they wrote and composed it with Vromance Hyunkyu. Yes or no its a Ravn song continues the story of Polarity. The part in Who you are that you liked its Seoho's voice. He said it was really difficult to sing that.

All this time I've been trying to think of how to describe Oneus's music and overall direction as a group and artists. When you said creative...thats it! They're creative yet sophisticated in such a way thats just beautiful and captivating to watch. They really are one of the most talented groups and artists and they know what theyre doing. Their passion is just so intense you can see it in everything they do. Everything about this album was perfect!

ONEUS put their all into this come back and were way more involved than I think they've ever been before. They've gained a lot of confidence this year, and I think BLOOD MOON is a reflection of where they are now as a group. I think that after the success of LUNA and BLOOD MOON, their CEO is going to give them even more support and freedom in the future with their projects because it was really ONEUS who drove the LUNA campaign. Their CEO thought that LUNA was too different from what's popular with boy groups today to be successful, so he was against releasing it as a title track. And in fact, ONEUS were supposed to be on a tour in the US in November instead of releasing BLOOD MOON, but we boycotted the tour, so the company changed plans.

I think you said it perfectly when you said Oneus leveled up with Luna. The title track and the whole album just feels so matured and refined it feels truly like they left their rookie days behind now and are well established artists. I feel like Oneus grew more than every other group I followed in those almost 3 years since debut (personally and as idols), I can't even watch their early Valkyrie stuff anymore (mainly the interviews) because they give me so much second hand embarrassment with how awkward they are 😭 Oh and I do prefer the Korean title of yes or no actually!! I feel like the English one captures the sound better while the Korean title really encaptures the lyrics of the song. by the way there is a tour planned for February in the US. I remember you said in 2019 you really wanted to see them live at some point and this might be your "last chance" to see them as six since Ravn will enlist in 2023. No concrete dates yet but the members have already talked about it x3

I gotta say as good as this album is, it still doesn't beat devil as my fav oneus album, that album is just so full of some of my fav oneus songs in their whole discography

I'm glad you enjoyed the album!! ONEUS' versatility is definitely a big reason in why they are my ult k-poop group. As I have listened to a greater range of boy band k-pop groups in general (as well as some girl groups), I see more and more what you mean about ONEUS just hitting differently. In my opinion, LUNA was especially unique in that it feels a bit feminine in aspects of some of the singing parts and then the choreography. I am fairly new to the K-pop sphere (less than a year), so I am not familiar with past K-pop groups, but it is one of the greatest things that made me really appreciate and like LUNA. Final comment on more accurate English translated titles: YES!!!! I know translation can be incredibly hard, but I think that English speakers are perfectly able to handle titles which are not completely basic. Your example of 'Yes and No' is a great example where the more accurate translation is far more meaningful and represents the song better.

Thank you for this listening party ☺️ I’m with you on the literal translation from Korean to English! It just sounds more poetic with a story behind it 🥰

E

i actually love that they don't directly translate the korean title, as it feels more like a secret meaning?? like here's what we're singing about (yes or no) but actually the hidden meaning is something so much deeper and only if you look it up or speak korean, in other words actually looking for the meaning, you'll understand..... idk that's how i've always viewed it, especially when the english title is so basic (txt being famous for this)

hi PD! could you perhaps try reacting to Jisoo’s debut drama Snowdrop. there is currently a lot of controversy surrounding the drama with many Koreans accusing the drama of history distortion. i’d like to know more about the history and would love to hear your opinion on the drama.

While I do appreciate the poetic beauty of a title like The Ending of Love is All or Nothing, it'd be really annoying to refer to. When writing you could make it an acronym - TELAN - and I suppose that acronym specifically is pronounceable as a word, but that definitely wouldn't always be the case, so you'd either have to spell it out or say the whole thing and I'm just waaaay too lazy for that. 😅 Yes or No is just easier all the way around.
