Well… since I listen to this podcast during having lunch… I didn’t expect this topic at the start… 😅😅 To everyone else, who is eating right now, enjoy your meal! 😹

About the nipple thing… well that depends on each country, but in general on the news and etc, these things cannot be shown. On TV shows it can, but that depends on what time it is aired, but that applies to US as well, or not?

Your output the last few days is making up for the break big time, hope you keep it up!

these always come out at night for me (I believe it's almost a full 12 hour time zone difference) so I'm thinking of using this podcast as my motivation to go jogging

PD & Dezzy: first of all, Labor Day is an acknowledgement of the history of the labor movement that's gotten us to where we are today in terms of work. By that I mean the unions, strikes, legislation, etc. that resulted in standards like a 5 day, 40 hour work week; child labor laws; safety codes in various industries; fair wages (I mean, hypothetically); etc. So yes, it kind of is about hard work, but moreso the hard work of the people in the past who sweat and bled and even died for all that, and now we get a day off in recognition. Secondly: This is me calling you out. I get that you're in new mindsets & getting in gear to do & be more & better and that's great for you - but to me it sounds like you're advocating a pretty toxic form of "grind culture." Always striving to do more than yesterday isn't healthy without breaks in which you may very well stay in bed and/or in your pajamas all day. I happen to be my best, most authentic self in my pajamas & my dearest wish is that they were socially acceptable to wear everywhere. And showering every day isn't actually healthy for your skin & hair, fyi. Sure, you mention that this relentless activity might include hobbies or studies & things you're passionate about, but it sounds like you should even be going hard on that, which isn't ok either. Gardening, reading, painting, coding, volunteering, etc. shouldn't be about doing/making/being the most or the best unless maybe it's actually some kind of competition. YOU OF ALL PEOPLE should know that constant, unrelenting activity and ambition will ruin your mental and physical health, and I kind of can't believe I'm hearing all this toxic positivity bullshit about doing more and being your best self without the temperance of understanding that today, or this week, or maybe even for a few months, your "best self" might be sitting on the couch in 3 day old pajamas, knitting a hat for your dog because life SUCKS & knitting in your pajamas keeps you out of the deep end. If some people do find your sentiments motivational, great! But please remember that not all of us want to be, or even CAN be, ON and GRINDING all the time. The rest of society shoves that down our throat already; please not you, too.

I was laughing whenever you started calling out people for not being out of bed yet!
