Here's the thing. I like all the different parts (except the ending), however I just don't like it together. I love the rap parts, and the pre-chorus is beautiful as well. The chorus is cathchy, not my favorite, yet it is catchy, however I just don't like it together. If you could take the 3 different parts and made 3 new songs would be all in! Edit: The only good thing that came out of the ending is the clothes. Unfortuantly Rosé's clothes is a little boring, which makes me sad, however the 3 other looks amazing. Definitely some of Jisoo's best outfits and visuals. And I'm a Rosé fan

This is actually my fav Blackpink song so far, there's something about that anti drop chorus that stings, and seeps into your brain just like venom does. Plus that rap verse? Fire!

Well, I absolutely hate the song. Not as much as HYLT, with that one you could literally chase me. But I do hate it. It's bad and it sounds like everything Teddy has been producing for the last 3 years

I like this song a lot, especially after listening to it a few more times. While some other people hate the chorus, I actually like how they switch it up; the whole song seems very well thought out and each section plays an intentional role in the song. The only thing that I felt was lacking was a more dramatic(?) or intense ending with the gratatata part.

My very first listen I said nope! But it was stuck in my head I’ll give credit for that but after hearing it randomly a couple of times I don’t hate it and it’s not a terrible song. If it’s playing in the background somewhere then I’ll enjoy it but it’s not a song I will seek out and add to my playlist.

Honestly I was super excited about the comeback, however for me it just felt like more of the same. Yeah, the song is good there's no doubt about it. But then again we waited for so long and I think the expectations where way to high. Also the fact that they new "Full length album" is once more just 8 songs is just fuck*d up.

I have been waiting for this! Thank you PD for reacting to Pink Venom. <3 Regarding your question about whether PV is connected to their previous, I guess not directly. The way I understand it, PV is also like a diss track if you read and understand the layers of their lyrics. From Jennie's waving the coco to Jisoo talking about the Pink ocean. It's a subtle way of telling their haters/ and those who undermine their achievements that once you taste the Pink Venom of BLACKPINK it will go straight to your doom (mind) and spread to your body like poison. And whether you admit that you are a fan or not, you are part of the "Pink Ocean". That's probably why there's a chant of "BLACKPINK" at the beginning and end of the MV.

I'm only a casual Blackpink listener and I was surprised that I instantly liked this. It took me a year to finally start enjoying the catchiness of How You Like That and the only song they released in the past few years that I absolutely loved was Lovesick Girls. But this one caught my attention immediately and I even added it to my playlist. It was a pleasant surprise!

YG said this was the biggest budget he ever spend on a BP MV and it shows. Everything is fire, the visuals are perfect, sets are to die for, the girls are stunning and slaying and I am here for it !
