With cix it's really fascinating that their lyrics often connect to their lore. Like i could make so many connections only with the stuff you translated. And the lyrics are always soooo beautiful!! The danke team is doing an amazing job every time

as a fix who fell completely in love with their first few albums, the sound of this album really made me happy. it really felt like they returned to the style that they began with. don’t get me wrong i love all of their music but this is the style that made me love cix. this may be my favorite cix album as well, which is saying a lot lol.

Thank you for checking this out PD! I love everything about this album holy shit. CIX is SO underrated.

Every single song they make is a payoff for stanning them!!!! Honestly their entire discography from start to finish is an insane listening experience. If you have the time just one day to sit there and listen from start to finish you wont be disappointed!! I do it on a monthly basis. The last song feels like it should be in the movie Love Actually! I will never get over JinYoungs voice and he such a strong presence through out the album. I still hold their first full length as my top but this one is definitely a close second! Its insane how talented they are as artists and musicians not just idols. I always look forward to their music especially their b-sides.

Patreon deleted my post and now I'm sad. Whatever, I was saying something along the lines of, thank you Pd for the translation and how with the newly gained context of Bend the rules, it is evident how much they wanted to tie that song to their lore and to the underlying concept that is based on the Divine Comedy, which is why these 'christian' lyrics like sin, guilt ect, make so much sense for them.

i was initially disappointed because there were only 4 songs, but all 4 are amazing, so i quickly got over that lol Without You and Drown in Love are my favourites - i really like how grand they both sound!!

Your reactions always help me appreciate music & videos even more! Whether it’s translations or filming techniques etc. I love understanding the art further. I hope one day you will react to their earlier albums if you haven’t listened to them before, some of my favourite bsides are there :)

I wish they had more songs in this album but all of the songs were so absolutely amazing that I feel fulfilled by the end.

Thanks for your insight! This album really grabbed my full my attention throughout, still fab several listens later. The one thing that I found (personally) super funny is how the 1st few opening guitar notes off "Drown in Luv" are ever so similar to those of "My Iron Lung" by Radiohead. Which is fine btw, just 2 different music realms with similar mood set-up I guess :)

Seems to be sort of a bug. I'm mostly on mobile, so I don't know if it's a general problem or if it's just my app that doesn't load properly. Happens randomly, mostly when I edit a post too many times. This time I don't know what happened, cuz I didn't edit anything after the initial post - it was there, then it wasn't 🤷
