Cough

Also is their YT audition show worth the watch?

Comments

ema

yessss

Matea Luke

I just started it last night and I’m about to start episode 4, I really like it so far!!

Aurayaya

I have no idea

Hotrodcobbs

Yes it is quite an enjoyable show, and it very much gets you into all the members of the group very easily

yessi

YESS I LOVED &AUDITION

comfy.cosmos

I would for sure give &audition a try. It made it really easy to get into the Individual members fast and see how their skills are. I enjoyed it a lot so ofc I will speak out of self interest cause I would love to see you react to it

Khin

Yes lol you won't regret it. I even like their theme song. And TXT will come as guests in one of the episodes. It is wholesome <3.

Mats Lind

Absolutely worth watching.

Ewtio

I personally liked it, also it's really short compared to other audition shows, so I think it's worth to watch it.

WiseSmellyLegs

I haven’t seen it, so I cannot tell. But only from the planning point of view I feel like it’s worth to remind that in February Boys Planet will be starting…

Ewtio

Well this show has just 8 episodes, 1 hour each, so I think it shouldn't really be a problem.

Gracie828

It's good, although the grading process is a little hard to follow. They don't really explain it well. But I think it's worth watching if only to see how they grow and how the four i-land guys are able to integrate themselves as part of the teams they are on.

comfy.cosmos

Also they are just really wholesome. Like so kind to each other it really was cool seeing them work together.

popo

honestly it was great in my opinion !

Melissa O

I think so. Just don’t expect it to be like any other audition show you’ve ever watched. It’s put together exclusively by Hybe. No MNet with this one. Extra content seems to be hard with them because they are JPop. Japan doesn’t seem to like to share with the world 😂. Still trying to figure out how to get the actual, physical, album. But &Audition was filmed in Korea and distributed by Hybe+, so at least there is that. Besides the 8 episodes they also have bonus behind fun things. All on Hybe+.

Kpop_Platypus

I liked their audition show. It's kind of novel to have 4 members guaranteed from the start with the rest vying for the remaining places in the group.

lovelypgw

It’s very different from other competition shows as it’s more focused on how well the other trainees blend well with K, Taki, Nicholas & EJ. It’s a more wholesome competition rather than cut-throat imo. Also you’d be able to see how much the other 4 improved from I-land.

Kiara Mays

I'll say it was a good show fairly quick and easy to follow. I will say I didn't find it to be as interesting as i-land but I think that was because of how quickly it went by versus i-land. For me at least

WiseSmellyLegs

I was assuming PD cannot start to watch it right now, because of the schedule. So that moves it into January… but well, I’m not saying it’s impossible neither that I am against it

canhui00

it was okay? I don’t feel like there was as much of a chance to get to know the members but it was entertaining enough!

hibou

it was ok? good to know more about them but I don't think it's a must watch either.

minkit

I liked it. There was no dramatic editing or anything unlike mnet survivals or i-land. It was purely about the process and the members.

Emily L.

I say go for watching &AUDITION! I really enjoyed it and it’s shorter compared to other survival shows, only 8 episodes and each ep is around an hour except for the finale which is longer! As for &TEAM content, there’s not much out but there are some on the &TEAM channel like the MBTI Test videos?

Kia

It was okay, kind of boring at times. Didn’t have a lot of time to learn in detail about the members. I would recommend watching only if you have the free time, otherwise it’s okay to skip

Mats Lind

For the physical album, CDjapan worked great for me. Arrived on release day from the other side of the world!

Harley

I’ll be honest I only watched it at first because I was curious what Hybe was going to do for a Japanese group like how different it was going to be but some of the performances really impressed me even if I knew I was going to be super critical. I won’t spoil anything but PD… a certain favorite Japanese song of yours is performed so I need to see your reaction

Emily L.

Oh there are some live performances of Under the Skin out as well for bonus content?

채채즈

For me &audition is not as entertaining as other show but it's useful to get to know them more. I don't think there's other audition show in youtube.

Réka O.

I liked the &Audition show, it's refreshingly different from the usual survival shows (and short!), but I was personally disappointed with the end results because my two favorites didn't make it :( but it was still a fun watch!

Lourdes R.

I watched it before watching the debut releases, and I don't regret it. I actually love that I can see the members improvement because of that🙌 The evaluation sistem was very interesting, and I enjoy that the focus of the show was more on teamwork rather than competition. Also, they have English subtitles 🙏 But for some reason I didn't find the subs on the final episode ;_; Still watched it though! Really interesting the final episode; I loved the affection that grew within them❤️

Gabrielle Renae

I say yes. It's a different experience from I-land but you get to see the main 4 and how they are very close since they have been training for months to a year just the 4 of them. And then to see the others come in and how they connect. I also like that the judges didn't sugar coat things. Some sensitive people thought they were too mean and harsh but it's criticism to help them grow and fix what they lack. I personally liked it it wasn't long so I think it's worth the watch.

joe cooke

big yes on the audition show

Milli Mey

I did watch most of the episodes but it was honestly not that interesting for me. There's better recent survival shows that you haven't watched yet (My Teenage Girl (Classy); A, B or What? (Atbo) and The Player (KQ fellaz 2))

a k

I'd say it's worth to watch? The format (and editing) is vastly different from PRODUCE 101, I-LAND, or GP999. I did try to watch it and it was kind of interesting to me? Also I just love how HYBE LABELS JAPAN has their own performance director and &TEAM has a dedicated producer for them, both of which are part of the judges' panel in &AUDITION.

Amanda Bernström

I watched it but didnt find that interesting.. but I would love to see your reaction to KQ FELLAZ 2 (KQ entertainment's new trainee group that will debut soon). They have pre debut songs with MVs on youtube and a "survival show" called The Player, where they do various quests (performances) and then hold their own pre debut concert. It's like a survival show but no one gets eliminated.

Béla Márföldi

Nizi project - the japanese JYP girlgroup audition show its on the official JYP channel. Dont miss it! :) Its smaller budget than others, but much more honest and interesting. Its a real audition, not a fake competition. No voting, no rigging, no bullshit.

Abby Gora

I think it’s worth it the performances are pretty good

Meg

There is a Studio Choom coming up, teaser was posted today. I liked &audition especially to reacquaint myself with the members formerly on iland and the new members. There are some people I liked so🤞 we'll see them in another hybe group moving forward.

Mya Dorrington

i watched the show as it aired and i was so invested. you should watch !!

Eme123!

With everything that you need to do in this channel, I think it is not worth the watch. I began to watch it and then it was kinda boring.

Kayleejay

Honestly I thought the production and concept of that show was frustrating in many ways but it’s worth the watch to get to know the boys. I originally only watched it for our former I-land boys but I really ended up falling in love with the other contestants. It’s a good way to get to know the other members and reintroduce yourself to K, Taki, Nicholas and EJ. I was especially shocked at how much Taki and Nicholas had grown during that show. It made me so proud lol

PiscesGroove

I think it’s worth watching to get to know the members. There’s fewer episodes than a typical survival show so I don’t think it’ll take as long.

Ariah Mclean

it isnt as long as other survival type shows, and you get to know the members pretty well so i say yeah watch it.

Brianna

I honestly think that &Audition isn't entirely worth the watch, but it is a good way to see K, Taki, EJ and Nicholas' growth compared to I-Land. It helps with knowing the other members and what they bring to the group, but that could also be done with other side content they'll be coming out with I assume.

Leonardo

PD, are you going to react to MAMA performances? the 4th gen GG collaboration is fireeee

minkit

i want to add smth tho i already said i thought &Audition was good I think most ppl here are used to the korean audition programs. heavy editing. heavy drama. it's VERYYYY different to the Japanese ones. even the Japanese Produce survivals weren't heavy on drama or "evil editing". they REALLY focus getting to know the boys, the actual audition process, etc. saying that &Audtion also was NOT technically a survival competition where they eliminate contestants. They had the trainees perform and chose the 5 remaining members from who they thought fit the 4 locked in best. having watched your reactions to Under the Skin, I think &Audition is a great way to not only get to know the new members & see their beginning, but also see K, Taki, EJ and Nicholas' growth in full since I-LAND. ESPECIALLY Taki. Taki really got to show his growth in the series and it was amazing to see. I was so impressed. so if you have TIME and want to watch it, I definitely recommend. (also on that note, idk but the Japanese trainees and audition programs are always so much funnier to me because Japanese idols in general put a VERY strong emphasis on personality and performance, which they touched on during PD48 too)

채채즈

I think all award show reaction gonna be on last week as said in the schedule

채채즈

I think all group under hybe has their own main producer and performance director

Claire B

I would say yes, its shorter than traditional korean shows and less dramatic and its a fun way to get to know all the members and their dynamics. My only issue is that the eng subs on the final épisode are complitely off, like the timing is really wrong. It bothered me so much that i downloaded everything to try to re time it on Première pro 😬, its taking some time and its a bit hard cause i dont speak japanese but its worth the watch ! So if you need this épisode with the correct sur you can ask me ig 🥲

sel

I really liked their show! I would recommend it if you want to get to know the members more(:

Silvia González

YES YES, It’s worth it and the show is so beautiful with less drama and evil editing than the rest of audition programs

Haruka

Well it definitely helps with association; vocals, dance skills, visual etc. It was fun to watch. It would be amazing, if you can make a listening party for them. They have 4 songs total and all of them amazing. They already released 'Scent of you' and they'll release a studio choom performance upcoming days.

SYNTHETIC NCTEEZ

I highly recommend watching &Audition. It's really wholesome and all about teamwork. There's no "evil" editing and shows a lot of their development through out the show. Also you get to see K, Nicholas, Ej and Taki shine a lot more than they ever have.

rina

YES it’s very worth it please react to it it’s amazing and an emotional roller coaster ride 😭
