Jin’s last performance was him performing The Astronaut live with Coldplay in Argentina, I highly recommend it for a bonus drop honestly every time I watch it I get emotional the setting was beautiful. I loved this episode, it was definitely a bit awkward at first but then the drinks dropped in and honorifics went down the drain and they matched each other’s energy so well, you’re right when he got drunk it was like his normal self with the members, this was very chaotic and hilarious especially loved Halli galli Jin is sooo good I don’t know if you remember in ITS 2 he was a master I mean still is, these content is already making me miss him.

If you want to see more drunk Jin content then you'll have to get back into Bon Voyage lol there's a very specific moment that comes to my mind of drunk Jin in Season 3 lol. Jin has talked about how in the beginning he was kinda thrown the role of being the "silent but aloof handsome" member of BTS and he struggled with that as well as he wasn't confident in his vocal and dance skills because he was picked up by Big Hit with no prior experience except acting. I think he said Fire era was the era he started becoming comfortable with himself and we start to see his very "Jin personality" come to life. I think for him his acting experience and talent manifested in the form of him making this persona of Jin of BTS because whenever people ask if he would do acting in like a drama he always says he would do it if he wanted to but as of now he's happy being in BTS and working on music.

Yeah, Jin masks his shyness and introvertness surprisingly well? Bts point out how his ears get really red sometimes even though he’s putting on his high energy, confident persona...it’s endearing. Also I love how your recent bts episodes have been so long lmao, I get it. You do have the bonus of having so much content you can still catch up on in the meantime though ;) whether you watch it on patreon or on your own

That thing about Jungkook being a mix of 6 different personalities; he talked about that in Burn the Stage (i think), he said that he might be the manifestation of all the guys coming together. And I totally agree with that. I made the comment about Jin's MBTI earlier but what also funny is that Jungkook has the same MBTI type as Jin (at least his most recent result. Previously he got ISFP and INFP)

Another Jin content I think you'd enjoy that he released before enlisting is his 4 episode show with Baek Jongwon where Jin creates his own traditional Korean alcohol :) it's kind of a healing show and it's filmed in that beautiful trademark HYBE quality that you love and keep mentioning in your reactions!

The comment I usually make about "bad seeds" in fandom spaces as a fandom Grandma about the hate Armys get is that the bigger the fandom, the more bad fans there are. It's just a math thing and a logic thing, you can't escape it (no matter how much you want to in the fandom). I've been in and out of so many terrible fandom spaces as a og tumblr era adult that you can see the history repeating itself from literally years away. So when I see BTS and Armys get shit for the fandom things and aspects of their lives, it sucks so much especially because I understand where it's coming from. Like let's say that the Army fandom is 1 billion people, something I don't doubt lmao. And that 1% of the fandom are "bad fans." That math still gives you 10,000,000 bad fans. You just have to be aware of that and be ready to run into that in fandom spaces, something I think a lot of newer kpop fans aren't really prepared for 95% of the time. Idk, this might just be me rambling here but like I said, I see it time and time again especially when I join baby fandoms and then that thing blows up and I see the fandom space grow and evolve. But that's life baby!

Awww, I love S3 because it felt more relaxed compared to the other 2, there were sad moments but so many more golden moments and loved the travelling they did and interactions they had like the iconic Jin scenes, even though they kinda stuck to schedules it didn’t feel like it more like real holiday.

according to my MBTI stats, I'm 49% introverted and 51% extroverted xd I can get the idea of being more reserved when encountering new people by yourself and then slowly warming up to them, in comparison to being immediately loud and outgoing in a comfortable setting and friend circle. I also would rather have people give me attention if I am sort of 'in control' of it, like if I purposely act a fool I'm prepared for people to look at me acting a fool with a 'fake it til you make it' mentality. If I pretend to be confident then people will think I am confident instead of nervous and gradually I'm not pretending anymore. That might be a similar case for Jin idk I'm not sure if I'm explaining this well xd There are times when jin gets shy and doesn't want attention on him unless he is sort of 'commanding' that attention like we often see when he is more outspoken and 'goofy'. I think that's where people might be surprised he is actually very introverted, he seems to like to match the environment or comfort/relax people with his presence in a joyful way but his introversion is more apparent in specific settings or situations - like Hobi's jack in the box party (I've been there many times when I was more delighted going home than being at a crowded party with people I didn't know and my friends were busy somewhere else haha). ps. loved the fact that he was feeling shy up until his skills in halligalli were questioned XD

I am super introverted but with my job as a support worker who meets a lot of different people daily, I may come across as someone who is not as I can easily strike up convos with strangers and clients with ease. I use to work in hospo so I'm very used to customer service in one of the places I worked there used to be a lot of A-listers that went there and I just spoke to how I would speak to anyone as a human to human. but the thing is a value my alone time a lot and need to recharge . I'm like jin who reads the rooms and matches the energy I can't help it. like my friends are all extreme extroverts so when I hang with them I feed off their energy and match it but it takes me a couple of days to recharge. My mbti is the same as hobi

it's been so nice witnessing PD getting to really know the members 😭 this made me miss jin so much. you were totally right about him projecting this loud & ridiculous persona to just to make other people happy and comfortable even when he's super introverted. i think he has such a unique personality that i still don't fully understand even after being a fan for almost 5 years. he can be so loud and obnoxious and yet he's one of, if not the most, private people in bangtan. so excited for future bts content! the more you watch them, the more you understand just how each of the members just fit right and why it makes complete sense for them to have made it where they are right now 🥹

There were a series of v-lives after the PTD concerts in LA last year (all are wonderful and highly recommend incidentally) and one I recall in particular re NJ looking at Jin in that way you described was a live with Jungkook and Jin popped up at some point through it and was boisterous and Joon said specifically 'Ah he's in professional mode' in such a fond way. I dunno, its not a big moment but when you said that it immediately reminded me of that moment.

I really enjoyed watching this with you guys and I loved the conversation at the end, I teared up a little bit when you talked about how loving something or someone with passion is not a bad thing, really needed to hear that. I also hope you have the opportunity to watch some of the other Jin content he recorded before enlisting, people already mentioned it in the comments so I'll be looking forward to that if you decide to give it a go.

and yeah I think I feel the same if I meet them yeah I will panic a bit cuz they are my everything, but I can imagine we will have a normal conversation like we knew each other for a while,, somehow they also allow us to see their different sides of their personality (in their songs, behind the scene, shows, live stream) so even when they say we didn't show everything I am sure the real real them without any camera is not that much different especially as JIN said here they were always filming in house and not allowed to hang out .. in some level, they seem innocent like I do not know how I say it ... but they really have good personalities ,,, jin here was drunk even though he stays humble and he felt shy when he said (superstar at the end) like you can see they are not fake and they are really a normal people and still not swollen by their fame

yes, jin made Super Tuna with Bumzu!! jin's always mentioned he wanted to make a fishing song, so he also used that as an excuse to go fishing with Bumzu to get closer with him lol.
