Why are videos unavailable?

Amanda Bernström

You should definitely check out all performances from SBS GAYO too, it’s even better than KBS GAYO

excellen

hm timestamps you say...*cracks knuckles* anyways if I'm faster I'll leave it here in the comments

BaoziBang

The Gayo's are always the best part of award season

Dryyym You

Nice, thank u!! Oh you are so not ready for SBS Gayo 😎

Sandra l.

regarding the nmixx performance I believe it was also the first performance without Jinni (I could be wrong) so maybe they also were impacted by this...

Kat

Honestly criminal that the oneus SexyBack doesn't seem to be in that Playlist. Highly recommend. It is a whole experience 🤣

Amanduh

I don't know if you've filmed them already, as I know you were planning to, but VIKI does have the full shows for the three festivals KBS, SBS, and MBC if you have that at all. The playlists don't seem to be as linear

holls

Le Sserafim kinda reminds me of Jihyo in how they really seem to genuinely enjoy performing- they just look so happy and comfortable on stage

beannieswife

Been waiting for your reaction to the jyp nation perf. and the iconic han verse😭 because he went HELLA viral, glad to see you fell for it🫡 lol, wait till you check his solo songs on skzs new album “replay”! And I’ll highly recommend you to check his Lee mujin episode! He shows off his vocals there!

Miro
>>98921949

I have to see PDs reaction to whatever Leedo has been on that day

jessie

I’m only half an hour in but I’m enjoying this so much not only are the performances incredible but your reactions are the best🤣 really giving me a good laugh every time you get shocked or so excited you make random sounds hahahaha

Brooklyn

I’m not even all the way through yet but just had to come and say that you HAVE to watch LSSFM’s dance practices for all of their award show stages after you watch them. The camera’s capture none of the true magic. Not to spoil it, but their MMA performance is genuinely one of the best award show stages I have ever seen in my five years of being a kpop stan. They are taking the crowns as the award show queens, and each show the stages just got more creative and they got more confident as they went.

Will part 2 also be out today?

MF

Besides Le Sserafim's and IVE performances I loved The Boyz's Whisper + No Diggity performances and Kim Wooseok's pefformance of Switch! Hope to see them in 2nd part

Rebecca Le Minh

IVE haters exist because IVE are talented, pretty and successful, and they can't stand it! Also ENHYPEN's performance is INSAAAAAAAAANE like how STRONG are they it's crazy like JUNGWON CARRIED JAKE TUMBLING IN THE AIR

ThatPatreonThough
>>98921488

It was. They announced she left less than 24 hours before this performance. It’s very possible they planned this performance with Jinni, which is why it felt so disjointed.

ice4fresh

Yooo Gaeul did the thing!

Erd'na

The way you react to Le Sserafim. PD you should look them out for them this year. They already annouced that they'll going to have a world tour in America.

Woowawo

the JYP Nation stage made me unbelievably happy everyone was amazing

Wiktor

PD you made me cry… your section on ITZY really resonated with myself. They are my favourite GG. They actually are the reason I became a KPOP fan. A few weeks before ITZY debut their first teaser dropped and came on my recommended YouTube page. I loved it so much I went and watched all their predebut stuff the members did individually and then saw them debut and grow into this amazing, beautiful and talented group. It’s so weird how on my first watch I ALSO felt emotional when seeing them BELT live… and I weirdly also started to tear up at the sneakers part!!!! It’s so therapeutic in a way to FINALLY see someone else feel these emotions towards them… they have been through hell and back this year… With so many amazing groups debuting left and right and centre. Itzy has Always been a target of hate since day 1 and they have been through the GUTTER. IVE and ITZY honestly deserve the world and for people to treat them better and with respect. I hope people grow up and just enjoy the damn music and variety they do. And if you don’t then there’s HUNDREDS OF other groups you can turn to 😭🫶 But in a weird way I understand WHY ITZY gets hate… they set the STANDARD in a way for the 4th Generation. They where the blueprint in my eyes for this coming generation. Every group since has always had to live up to ITZY and many will only feel satisfied when someone new comes and challenges the blueprint. The emotional feeling I felt… in this specific performance… was the sense of pride for them… but also in a way it felt like ITZY was FIGHTING? Or showing this desperation to prove everyone who hated them wrong… All the “they’re ugly”, “they can’t sing and they can only dance” “Lia can’t sing”, “Ryujin can’t rap” “Chaeryeong is ugly”, “Yuna is a pick me” “Yeji is a bad leader” “ITZY flopped” BULLLLLSHITTT I’ve seen this year ALONE thrown at itzy… this performance to me, made me cry. I felt this was itzy saying “🖕” to all those comments and haters. They KNOW people disliked sneakers but they sang that song with their chest and pride. So proud of them.

Holly

hi PD! there’s two performances from the show that don’t seem to be in the playlist you’re watching, and they’re two of my favorite performances of the night! hope you can check them out still, it’s ONEUS performing SexyBack and THE BOYZ performing No Diggity. they’re both short but quite impactful :) if there’s any other performances missing please lmk but those two are missing for sure, here are the links: THE BOYZ: https://youtu.be/XQ57UYIkXrM ONEUS: https://youtu.be/_uk5o4rsEIc

Lj

I hope no one takes this as hate in any way, but I just thought I’d mention that most of these stages weren’t live, just since for example pd said that nct dream were live. It can be hard to tell, especially these days. Btw, Sm singers have largely not been live on music shows since before the pandemic, so if you’re looking for a live nct dream performance, I would check out their concert. Again, no hate, but thought I’d mention it.

Wiktor

Yuna solo potential became a thing. At this point. If it ever happens… she set a high bar for herself with this!!! She HAS to become this generations Sexy Soloist. It just suits her like no one else. I can SEEEEEE her being this generations HyunA or Hyolyn from the aura she is pushing.

ian

I'm so glad to hear that ITZY has finally cemented their spot as your favorite GG! I was lucky enough to go to their concert in LA this past October and have all the videos I recorded on a Google Drive so if you're interested to check those out in your free time I'd be more than happy to give you a link!

Lj
>>98927601

Actually I just checked and I’m pretty sure nct dreams glitch mode performance was live on mbc’s gayo, Aespas definitely was which is so great, that is a performance to watch out for.

Don't call me.

How did none film soobin singing at the end

cee

LE SSERAFIM are born performers

Tesa
>>98927601

i was going to say something about this too lol almost no stage was live at KBS, and Candy def wasn't! i don't see it as hate at all. it's just fact! doesn't mean one can't enjoy the performances :)

Lj
>>98927601

Oh yes I totally agree, I just wanted to clear things up.

A36

fun fact: the male voice in yuna’s cover of u-go-girl is actually o.de from xdinary heroes!

Tesa

your reaction to Doyoung was the same as mine lol how dare he!

h.
>>98927601

One of the gayos, i think the Christmas eve one was fully live since there was no prerecording! so i think that would be a good one for pd to watch. I believe the others are heavily edited during prerecordings

Lj
>>98927601

I completely forgot about sbs, oops. That was such a nice live show, only wish the sound quality was better, there were a lot of issues I remember.

FORYOU

You should check all choreo videos of LE SSERAFIM. The camera missed so much

summar

cant wait for part 2 to see you watch all of oneus, the boyz & ateez performances also !!

Tema

It’s amazing how so many people didn’t read that this is just part 1… Anyways I think what also helped TXT be so captivating (they always are but it was on max for this performance) was that you can tell they were mad mad and made sure you could hear them live. The group shouting monochrome diamonds and especially Kai near the end 😍 also OS has been dubbed THE Taehyun center moment. I still won’t forget twitter freaking out the first time we saw the choreo during the comeback show Also I need to be friends with their stylist- I love her so much 😍

Clare B

lmao I can spot Mingi by his hair a mile away in the last group song

Jodi Wong

i really appreciated you getting surprised to the jyp nation performance pd! but i’m not sure if you were aware the playlist isn’t in order, because the actual performance was stray kids → itzy → nmixx → then they all came together so it technically it wasn’t supposed to be a surprise but i’m glad it worked out like that for you pd!

Jodi Wong
>>98934103

also some of their makeup and hair in general also might be inspired by the theme of the night which was y2k!

queen gowon

yeah txt were mad as hell on that stage😭😭 bc there were rumors going around that they were lipsyncing so they turned it up

soel

enhypen are always outdoing themselves it's crazy... didn't even think it was possible. this show had so many great performances!! i loooved nct dream's candy performance and ive and new jeans were so impressive too.

Jodi Wong
>>98934103

also wonyoung and sunghoon are kbs kids bc they’re the mcs for music bank

Emily L.

Enjoying the reaction!! Just wanted to note that KBS doesn't do brands/profanity AT ALL lol so that's why Porsche is squad (really the word car was right there) in any performance on KBS' channel, even Music Bank. It's not a new thing, so it's always funny for me to see what lyrics get changed to 😂

Kim Naff

I knew you were thisclose to saying ITZY was your favorite gg. XD They really are something special. I think you deserve to cycle in another ITZY show in February just for you. Whether you need the fun or the catharsis, they've got something for you.

cynthia li

I have never vibed with you as much as when you replayed Jungwon's part 5 times in a row lmao. His hair that day was just perfection Agreed - this was a comparatively less theatrical performance compared to MMA/MAMA, but somehow it's my favourite one lol. Something about the old school hiphop vibe just clicks with me

wonwon29

sbs one was the best for me last year! check it out pd♡

Mado

Wow! I am so impressed by IVE! I usually skip their performances cause was disappointed several times already. But this time they killed it! IVE gets so much hate for being inconsistent. If all their performances were immaculate like this, no one would dare to criticize them. And yes, it's hard to give 100% all the time with their schedules. But other groups somehow manage to do it (great examples are ITZY, LE SSERAFIM). And they received so many daesangs this year, all eyes on them, so expectations are extremely high.

idciljk

TXT were literally mad on the stage because of the rumours going around that they lipsync. Taehyun said about this perf that all the other groups prepared dance break or cover stage, but they just wanted to tear up the stage with their live vocals. And they did.

Lee

was looking at the playlist and didn't see The Boyz "No Diggity" cover performance that was also apart of this award show! It's so good I hope you can watch it

채채즈

Thank you for this PD, LSRF performance director is on another level, in this particular performance, the dance break actually tells the story from the beginning where they look lost and wander around then meet each other then perform together. KBS is great but the SBS one is more amazing, can't wait for it PD. The playlist you're using is not in order btw also there are a lot of compilation videos too there. Also, I don't know if you will watch AAA PD but LSRF antifragile rock ver. is a must-check, and all of their dance practice actually since you will see so much more there.

Neeko
>>98951870

LSRF ate up this entire award season, it's actually so wild.

Julia

PD: MY SONS!! Giving me kingdom flash back when wooyoung said “MY SON” to Felix 😂😂😂

Marie

ITZY has become my favorite girl group this year and getting to watch your reactions to them and hear you fan about them just solidified it and I'm happy to be a fellow midzy with you PD!!! Thier performance was amazingggg thank you!!

Sahan Dharmawardhana

Yes, ITZY are just born performers—every time they are on stage, they shine through—I think it's time for another itzy show pd!

PM

That whole ramble about Itzy was so accurate and really resonated with me. Whilst I love LOADS of other Kpop groups, something about Itzy is just so special, I also felt so much pride watching this performance. I hope you'll be able to check out another yt series from them soon!!!

Céline Verhaeghe

They picked all the maknea's from the girl groups for love by oxygen collab if I remember correctly. Or at least the girls that are around the same age :).

Juliana Ferrari

As a Sakura stan I'm loving so much to see this recent kkura appreciation! Le Sserafim ate up all of their award show performances, but SBS Gayo Daejeon is my personal favorite, I'm so excited for your reaction!

Mic ☆

When I upgraded today to Spring tier annual, I knew it was in part to get answers to some of life's questions. 'Why do IVE haters exist? Because I see a lot of them' and 'Why is Ryujin [ITZY] so cool?' PD did not need to answer as some puzzles are left to muse and other truths are self-evident - and I look forward to their next part 2 observations, too.

Réka O.

Day 56453 of me spamming you to check out the full performance of TXT's Opening Sequence as a bonus drop 😂 please PD, do it before the next comeback, you won't regret it!! https://youtu.be/cdcl6TvkF5M

Samantha

No okay but if IVE and LSFR ever do a real full collab that will be the peak of gg performances

Zukhra Talmanova

Are you going to check out the sbs gayo?? I really loved it 😢

Belle Christina

nah when pd started crying during itzy i started crying as well like i felt it so much and it was so nice to know i'm not alone in feeling emotionally attached to them. being an itzy fan is definitely a lonely experience, they're not one of the most talked about girl groups and i don't see a lot of them on my feed either. but their music and just them as people is so healing for me. it's crazy because for 6 years my ult group was bts and then i found itzy and their lyrics, paris et itzy, etc. and suddenly itzy have been my ults ever since. their content and lyrics have helped me get through so much the past couple of years and i can't wait to see what they do next!

billie27

I loved this performance by itzy, they always go 100% even though they've been really busy this year ! and finally admitting itzy is your favorite gg yeah :))) hopeful to see another itzy show in the future schedule

May

Ok i have to say this. During MAMA when there was the girl group collab stage, people were hating on Kyujin sayin that she was doing too much and that she was trying to stand out but put her with other JYPE artists on a stage and you can clearly see that NO ONE is standing out like that because they're all equally good dancers. JYPE artists always getting hated for "doing too much" when the reality is that they're just such amazing dancers that you just get drawn to them.

Kim Dang

The male voice you hear in the last song is Soobin! He was singing so seriously and there was even a cute moment where he was just jamming with Yeosang from Ateez!

Audrey Vasquez

Idk if anyone said this yet, but the male voice in Yuna’s u go girl performance was O.de from Xdinary Heroes ☺️

dani

the new version of Hype Boy genuinely felt like a trip to me

Hannah Q.

With aespa's makeup and hair, I think they kinda did Giselle dirty. Winter looks stunning with the "snow white" look of red lips and dark short hair. Ningning looks really hot with the "western" look of smokey eyes and tanned skin. Karina looks great as always. But Giselle's hair and makeup are just so-so. She doesn't look bad but recently I've seen much better looks from her in other events.
