Wonyoung must have it hard. With the amount of love and hate she has. She has to work 3x harder then any idol to not “slip up” or be “controversial”. Because the day she finally does something GENUINELY controversial and not some BULLSHIT drama KPop FANS instigated… she will get hate like no other idol would. Bless her. :((

ITZY’s Chaeryeong had a No Prepare episode with YoungJi if you are interested PD. No sure if No Prepare was going to be a series or just a Bonus Drop one.

No prepare ep 11 with Christopher (the guy who collabed with Chunga for Bad Boy) is really great! Despite him not being a kpop idol I would recommend it because they also talk about the differences in west and korean culture.

While I'm not a fan or find her personal relatable I respect the hell out of Wonyoung. She's by far the most scrutinized idol right now. And she still manages that everything people use to hate on her are the most ridiculous reasons you can come up with. Everyone that spreads hate towards Wonyoung immediatly looks pathetic and insecure. Because there's is nothing actually bad about her. Also regarding your rant towards the end: watch Yunjin's 'I ≠ DOLL'. I think you will have some very interesting thoughts on her song ;)

people always project on to wonyoung idk i think people connect confidence to being bitchy or whatever its so ridiculous the conclusions people make about her. I envy her in the best way with how she holds herself and thinks about people spreading rumours. She's been in the industry since she was a child too i respect her alot

I've [or IVE as in what's after like? ♡] always seen Wonyoung as an idol who can do it all ...from entertain to fashion with brand ambassador roles, magazine shoots 📸 to MC etc. She has iconic qualities that shine again and again

also agree with you so much on just wanting to be friends with her! she has such an inspirational mindset and i feel like if we all felt the same way, people would be so much happier. they definitely do hate her out of jealousy because she just doesn't do anything to deserve any of that negativity. she's incredible.

If you ever find free time to watch their MAMA Song of The Year acceptance speech I 100% recommend it. I almost cried seeing Wonyoung finally letting her emotions show during this span of award show wins.
