SUCHWITA EP. 3 TAEYANG

The pingponging between professionalism and "oh my god it's taeyang he's t a l k i n g to me" was hilarious! XD I totally agree with you about Taeyang having reached some kind of enlightenment... his demeanor is that of having figured "it" out and now is just vibing.

I’m glad TaeYang is about to have an album!! (As far as my knowledge goes, it wasn’t clear if there is something else to come after Vibe)… And I bet there will be song at least produced (or featured too) by Suga!! This couldn’t be just a random hints 😎😎 I don’t want to get into BIGBANG’s past and their scandals etc… maybe “tons” isn’t the best word, but I take it as a hyperbole… (I know you didn’t mean it in any bad way towards them), but from what I know, TaeYang is truly a sunshine without any dark past or anything like this. I cannot add more to your words here. I will only say that I would really love to see other BIGBANG members interacting with BTS or simply coming to Suga’s interview like this! I would be really curious about their responses to the questions TaeYang was asked about. About G-Dragon’s album. This year it’s official for the first time. The year before or the other one it was always just rumours, but because of that video and also because of YG’s situation of having him as the last member of BIGBANG being signed with them (like right under them, not like TaeYang is with The Black Label) it has to be happening! Also T.O.P. talked about his solo album right after leaving YG last year, so I hope he actually comes back like to the scene but to the Earth from the Moon as well 😅😅 (what a way to hype up a comeback, right??). Only with DaeSung it’s really unclear… and man, it’s been ages since he had a comeback on a Korean music scene (but even if he focuses more on the Japanese market again, it will be after a big break as well)

I think this is the first glimpse that your seeing of Yoongi bring shy (with compliments) but I feel like it's really first moment for ARMY's to see him fanboy like this. We saw RM get duper hyped when they got to meet, perform and take pictures with Nas but never really Yoongi. I love their back and forth and it's super wholesome and I smiled thr whole time I watched it because, simply put; CUUUTTEE!!!!!

After watching this I asked myself a question and talked about it with other people on a Kpop discord. Someone mentioned that Korean person should give a perspective on this, so although we have come to a conclusion after all, I’ll ask it here as well. How come H.O.T. doesn’t have the same status as BIGBANG has (I mean nowadays). In the way that although after BIGBANG BTS came and went even higher, for the Kpop realm/world is BIGBANG still BIGBANG. So why didn’t something similar happen with H.O.T. after BIGBANG came?

Please do the live clip of taeyang and jimin as a bonus drop!

probably because bigbang really started the whole 'idols can be musicians and artists too'. nowadays a lot of idols write their own songs but back when bigbang debuted it wasnt really a thing. thats probably why so many idols looked up to them in a different light. also H.O.T didnt really last for a long time. bigbang is still an 'active' group even after 17 years.

Here's my best educated guess: -bigbang and bts both have self producing members. I believe G-Dragon is technically the first. I genuinely believe that gos a long way both in terms of respect but also the quality/longevity of the songs. -HOT were from the era of very "controlled idols". I don't know how much freedom HOT or BIGBANG had but even just knowing the older system, I'd guess that BIGBANG was probably more "authentic" on camera. Also the biggest thing: HOT broke up. I don't know if they had bad blood but I know for a while their relationship (after disband) wasn't great because they broke up due to misunderstandings and not communicating.

No, cos if you have been a BTS fan since their rookie days, you'll know how huge of a bigbang fanboys they are..I remember Jimin copying Taeyang before and it was so funny and look at him now. He's a successful fan indeed. So so happy for him.

I can’t with this fanboying Yoongi 🥺 this was sooo wholesome not just for BTS but Big Bang got a lot of us into K-pop including me, this feels like such a full circle moment it’s surreal! Yoongi kept praising Jimin’s hard work (exposing his hardcore fanboying)😂 Taeyang also praising Jimin and damn I didn’t know him and Namjoon were that close, Taeyang inviting Yoongi and Jimin to his home to make homemade Kimchi Jjigae was so cute omg! I loved how much advice Yoongi wanted and Taeyang gave amazing advice that I hope he holds onto especially them both reiterating importance of teamwork more than anything also living a normal life and staying grounded will equal to longevity. Such a great episode, which it was hours long, I felt like my my worlds collided like Yoongi said! Excited for more episodes! 💜💛

I can't get over Yoongi saying he's "just" getting into his solo career. I guess he forgot that D-2 is the highest charting Korean solo album in Billboard history, and is the first Korean solo album to surpass 600 million streams on Spotify. Humble king out here
