Yay! This was so good I'm glad you guys checked it out! They killed it and I love the difference between their vocals especially live but they fit very well. Plus I agree with the live being better, the energy is different from the pre-recorded.

To answer Blaire’s question… I haven’t heard of any drama or anything like that… Actually I am not interested in this part of Kpop, so to be honest I might have missed something, but since it sounds so out of nowhere, I would say it’s just a fake drama made by some bored people…

I loved this, they sound so good together! I missed Taeyang’s voice so much he sounded amazing as usual, Jimin sounded sooo good too! I’m just so happy for Jimin I can’t imagine how it must feel to work with your idol, he looked up to Taeyang like no other like Yoongi mentioned on Suchwita, all I want now is a live performance with an audience and a dance practice 😩 Hoping for more BTS x BIG BANG content in the future it sounds crazy just typing it but this feels like the beginning of something great, Yoongi wants to produce for Taeyang as well, so I can’t wait to see what the future holds.

OMG!! I was waiting for this reaction. I'm so glad you guys did it. And to answer Blaire’s question. There has not being any Jimin/Taeyang drama it was more an "Army vs Vips" for things that happened in the past between the fandoms and "apparently" (I'm not 100% sure about it) some family members of Big Bang back in the day accused BTS of things. So is just some dumb fandom war, and people needs to leave Jimin and Taeyang out of it to be honest.

the family members shading bts was true, i believe it was taeyang's brother and top's sister and their staff joined as well which made it worse and it hurt bts's career during that time but everyone started scrambling to delete everything acting like they didn't say anything when Gaon apologized saying it was their fault not BTS or BH. it was disgusting honestly especially since bts were on the rise that time and bb were already loved

YES! They sounded so good! I was originally pretty surprised by the way they arranged the song, but it works real good and lets both of them showcase their voices. As for Blaire's question, as far as I know it's just a fanwar that got reignited. The two fandoms have a long history of fighting each other and the one thing I've seen brought up around the Taeyang collab (I'm an ARMY so idk how it looks on the VIP side) is the time in 2017 when VIPs accused BTS of copying their Gaon Chart Awards' performance background (color bars like when TVs didn't have signal + "No Signal" text) from BIGBANG. A YG producer made a vaguepost on instagram about it and TOP's sister & Taeyang's brother liked the post. There was other things that happened and eventually Gaon apologized for using the background & claimed responsibility for it over BigHit/BTS, but relevantly that's the one thing ARMYs still hold on as a grudge against BIGBANG/Taeyang specifically (as opposed to just VIPs). This right here is what music is made for. This is why music is the most important part of our lives. Both of their live vocals and just being chill like this is what I needed most. Regardless of empty fandom wars and bullshit drama, they came together and freaking killed it!! Both are kings of music in their own right and putting them together like this is just pure art. I hope this and other collabs like this show fans that it's really the music and their voices that matter most in life not the drama. If they can get along like this then why fight?! Also...can we talk about the bass player?! Cause damn!!!
