I dont think Cheong-san died. I really think he is like Nam-ra, and the people she talked about being like her in the end of this episode, one of them is him. They obviously saw something in the last scene which might have been Cheong-san and the other people she was talking about.

I really don't think that Cheongsan is dead. I feel like that they have made a point to show when somebody turned or died. If you look at Nayeon, she was bit by Gwinam in one episode, and we could just assume whatever. But in a later episode they showed her as a zombie. So I won't believe Chungsan nor Gwinam for that matter is dead until I see a body.

Haha, I definitely put myself through the trauma of the show for a second time because I completely forgot just how sad it was. Even though it was my second time watching it, I still cried like it was my first. I remember when the last episode first aired, everyone was in denial. We all refused to believe Cheong-san is dead. Everyone had theories about Gwi-nam’s body having protected him from the explosion so he just had minor burn injuries but not enough to kill him. Aside from that, I attest to the fact that it was definitely interesting watching this a second time with the new perspective on the characters. And I can’t wait to see what the next season brings. I hope that at some point they show us a bit of what Nam-ra went through in those 4 months. I think that’d be an interesting thing to see.

You can see more of that short haired girl in "Cheer Up" with Gyuri and the actress who plays Joo Seok Kyung. She's a really fun actress to watch

So many of us have hope that Cheong-san is not dead and I'm holding onto it until season 2 comes out. One of the main reasons is that Gwinam actually burned and dissolved while they were falling meanwhile Cheong-san simply disappeared in the fire. yes they shows On-jos name tag and a body in school uniform but I'm still holding onto him being alive even if its just 1% lmao

Cheongsan was my favourite character. I really wanted them to show he was alive still here. But maybe in season 2 they’ll show him. He’d look so cool, one eye, maybe a bit burnt. I think although if he survived wouldn’t Gwinam survive if they both got burnt. I don’t know. Also many people believe miss park may still be alive because we never saw her turn and she wasn’t in the group of people getting close ups in the school before they bombed it. She could be the one with namra at the end. I don’t think cheongsan could be there because Onjo would have a whole different reaction, but from the big guys reaction I think it’s miss park.

so glad you enjoyed this show! going into this rewatch i knew i was going to be bawling at the last few episodes and i was absolutely right </3 by the way, if you're interested in checking out another zombie show that explores character dynamics and growth moreso than pure action, i highly recommend "Happiness" starring Han Hyojoo and Park Hyungsik. it's a Studio Dragon drama and imo it has one of the most unique takes on a zombie virus, plus it's just a really fun watch

Hi PD, There is an interesting theory that claims that when a person in fear is bitten by a zombie it also turns into a zombie. However when the bitten person shows no fear it turns into a half zombie like Namra. Looking at it this way would be the theory: -Guinam's only thought was to kill Cheongsan -Nayeon's only thought was that anyone who didn't help her should die What you can conclude from this is that: -Cheongsan wanted to protect Onjo -Onjo's father wanted to protect her -Woojin wanted to protect his sister So this would mean that these characters are still living as half zombies. The girl in the pink sweater. Was the LAST person I thought would survive. Like ain’t no way they kept her this long. 🤣 I just know she’s Season 2 will be her death. She serves no other purpose. UNLESS they make her into a badass… but would they give a side character that treatment?
