Ah yes I feel your pain PD I would bend the knee to her too lol little fact tho the Queen of Spade game wasn't in the Manga so this was a new game made for the show Also Chihiro(Queen of Spade) is a real life stunt woman and actress so all stunts were performed by her and all Choreograph stunts done by actors were also made by her

The Arisu lookalike caught me so off guard at first too!! My friend and I thought it was so funny bc not only did they give him a speaking line but showed him right before the actual Arisu was revealed😭 Like I really wonder what the correlation or reason was because no way they didn’t see it

i disagree with the opinion that the girl wasn't raped by the doctor & that it was purely transactional and almost a moment of "sexual empowerment" for her - she would've died if she didn't agree to have sex - meaning she didn't have a real choice and it was coercion; power dynamics like you yourself said. And tbh even if she disagreed, I do think the doctor would've gone ahead and raped her

I disagree with that stance as well. There was definitely no choice for her as the alternative was dying, however I do think it was perhaps a moment of false sexual empowerment, where she had to suck it up and convince herself that it was her deciding and not her being cornered. It was 100% rape and I think she just tricked herself into thinking she said yes because she wanted to and wanted to "make the best of it" for lack of a better term. Assuming a "survivors mindset" and accepting your fate doesn't equate to consent.

Hrm, you’re right. I think I’m going off the assumption that she would survive no matter what but that would be biased of me already knowing who she becomes. Looking at it from your guys’ point, I was definitely wrong on that one and retract my position on that.
