I know exactly what you meant when you said Asa reminds you of someone visually. For me, she looks like a mini-version of Isa from StayC.

I will literally give anything to watch the full version of her Godzilla performance... cause that was just so freakin impressive lol

Yeah... all of them caught my attention so equally and that's something that rarely happens to me these days. The only one I am still a bit unsure of is Haram. Like I have nothing against her, it's more like I'm still waiting, so that's why I am really curious about her introducing video

a little tmi but I think the girls are using blackpink old dormitory 👀

Rora is definitely going to be a really fun variety member. I wonder her MBTI - I really enjoy her personality. One thing I hoped YG would do is make them unique to them and nothing like blackpink. Some members feel 'fresh' but some feel 'boxed into baby blackpink' which will probably take time to find their own colours. But Rora was the FIRST baby monster member that felt like she has her OWN colour. It was VERY refreshing. She reminded me a lot of Soojin from WEEEKLY.

after that intro video i think asa is on the way to becoming my favorite member, like all of them caught my interest and all those 4 intro videos made me like them even more but after seeing asa rap more with that eminem song and her self composed song damn shes coming for my neck and that made me really wish they would release the song she made

At first it was Haram, Asa, Rora, and Ruka through the live performances/dance performance videos. Haram and Rora have those unique soulful vocals that I adore so much. Asa’s is such a spitfire of a rapper and Ruka gave me OG YG hip hop/old school west coast hip hop vibes + her charisma/stage presence. Ahyeon also impressed me with her vocals and rap. But then when the intro videos came out.. my top 3 is Ruka, Asa, and now Ahyeon. I still have Rora tied with Ahyeon, but I’m also waiting for Haram’s intro video. Tbh all of them are literally all-rounders! They can do it all and that is insane because they’re so young. However… Man Ruka and Asa is my top 2 right now.. don’t know how that happened. I usually bias vocalists 😂

I know how cheesy and stupid it sounds: But these Babymonster reactions saved a really shitty day for me and helped a lot :D Thank you! Four questions to everyone: That one scene with Rora and Chiquita ... To me it was uncanny how much their mannerisms and personalities especially in that particular scene reminded me of Wonyoung (IVE) for Rora and Lisa (Blackpink) for Chiquita. Had anybody else that association as well? Of course nobody is a "mini version" of anybody else, it was just a personal impression. :D What do you guys think about the marketing strategy for Babymonster? I think its perfect in todays landscape. Even the timing, after last year "the year of the monster rookie girl groups". First I was sceptical if there is even a place for a new YG girl group besides Blackpink and those other monster rookies. The initial teaser video was a bit cringe and "fake" (at least to me). But since then I loved the live performances and introductions. Over multiple months we get every few days new content and small glimpses into these "kids", creating a strong emotional bond, a unique identity and building hype for their debut. So when they now debut (or at least give us some prerelease mv), we already know them and are rooting for them as human beings instead of just judging a "product" (the music video) from YG of all places. I already love that they don't go for the "these idols are perfect" stereotype. For everybody they show strengths but also aspects where they can grow / improve on or where they struggled during training. Its hard, but its hard! ;) Now I gained confidence that YG (still) knows what they do and might have something unique and exciting here. The strategy even manages to create a mini redemption arc for Yang Hyun-suk himself and YG as a company. Last question to all of you: Who are your favorites so far? I don't see any "weak" link and think, every single one of them is not only uniquely her own but also insanely skilled. Its a bit like Blackpink... I doesn't feels as if I well ever be able to "choose a bias" (I also don't want to here). Its scary how good they all are, even though I don't like the young age. I hope YG at least will protect and guard them properly. If I was forced to choose right now: My two favorites after the performances might be Rora and Asa. After watching the introductions it shifted a bit to Rora and Ruka. First I wondered how Ruka, as a 20 year old, can fit into a group with mainly 13 - 15 year olds. A 7 year gap between Maknae and oldest? But I was surprised how "child like / young" (and adorably cute) she came across in her introduction and now understand why she fits with the rest. Also like the chemistry between all of them so far. But I'm wondering now, what kind of title track or debut (single? album?) we will get. No way they can give all 7 enough space in one song to let them shine like their skills and unique charms deserve and match expectations after all these solo performances and introductions? Am I wrong here? Really curious how they will be as a group together. PS.: sorry for bad english!

Rora seems to have such a fun but mature personality! I really enjoyed her introduction video
