I always come away from your listening parties with a deeper understanding of the albums thank you! No return is my personal highlight, I think of it as the No celestial of this album, I really needed comfort and a pick me up when this released and I was not disappointed

Thoughts on the album: Burn the Bridge: The hydra is still my favorite intro purely because of the MMA 2022 Performance. Maybe after the end of the year performances it will be my new favorite who knows. Unforgiven: First impressions of this song were not good, but it has really grown on me ever since it was released. In terms of TTs, I think this is better than Fearless but worse than Antifragile. No Return: Really fun song, but probably my least favorite new B-side simply because I like the other b-sides a lot more. That Brass solo near the end gives me life. Eve, Psyche, and the Bluebeard's wife: Tied for my favorite b-side on the album. I just think this song is really fun, not something that I usually listen to but it might encourage me to explore more songs in this genre. Also the comeback live stage of this song is lit. Definitely recommend you check it out when you comeback from your hiatus. Fearnot (Between you, me, and the lamppost): My other favorite B-side on this album. It just feels so personal and so sweet, the way that the members sing on it and the way that it's produced. I think I read somewhere that Yunjin actually produced this song and the members wrote on it like you said. Made me cry the first couple of times I read the translated lyrics ngl. Flash Forward: Man it is hard not to just vibe to this song. It feels so joyous and so fun to listen to. The way the song just ticks along and the vocals are just giving. Loved when Kazuha comes in with her deeper tone in the second verse. Fire in the Belly: Le Latinfims back at it again. They do latin music so well and this song is so fun to listen to. I hope they get a chance to re release this when the women's world cup comes around. This seems like the type of song to get down to when you're playing football. Overall this album has been on repeat since it came out and even though there are only 6 new tracks, I am making the most of them. 10/10 album.

i loved this album! a lot of people thought that, while the songs were good, there was no cohesion which i really disagree with and i'm happy you saw the same story throughout the album that i did! le sserafim are tied with txt as my ult groups and in my head it makes a lot of sense as i see a lot of similarities between them regarding their personality and group dynamic.

angel

the re recorded versions are basically the same just without garam

I have seen so many people hating on the title for Eve Psyche and Bluebeard's Wife but honestly the title makes me love it even more with how smart it is! I don't think the explanation you read for Psyche and Bluebeard's Wife actually explains why they're included. Psyche is referring to the story of Cupid and Psyche, but specifically when Psyche is still human Cupid only visits her at night and she's not allowed to see him. She's then led by her evil sisters to shine a lamp on him while he's asleep to see "the monster" she's been told is sleeping with her - which of course he is not and they eventually end up married. The plot for Bluebeard's Wife is essentially that he gives his 7th new wife keys to his entire palace and tells her she can go into any room except one or she'll face his wrath, and she can't help herself and goes into the room only to discover the corpses of his 6 wives before her - which of course leads to his death and her getting his wealth and palace. So they're all examples of mythological women who did something forbidden which led to a better life.

Yunjin got credit in Eve, Psyche, and the Bluebeard's wife because they re-used the lyrics "I'm a mess, mess, mess..." It's previously feature in antifragile trailer, but wasn't in The Hydra official track. Your guess for Fearnot track is spot on. Yunjin compose the track, according to her interview she already had the demo done before she started writing raise your glass. Jukjae participating in this track is just a cherry on top. I agree with you PD regarding the album. I see a lot of ppl saying the album is not cohesive, I disagree. Unforgiven as an album felt like the perfect ending for "Book 1". As you mention, it's complete, but not complete "complete".

I have never felt a greater dissonance between the image and concept a group portaits for a CB and the, let's say normal life, i.e. them just being performers doing their job. They are not fearless going forward, right out of the gate the public struck the fear of god (HYBE losing their income and investment) into them they are not anti-fragile, they broke under the public pressure and unforgiven? well erasing a missteps is not going on with it unapologeticly

The CHOKE HOLD. Eve,Psyche & The BlueBeard’s Wife has had on me… it’s quite scary. This is the first b-side I’ve streamed more than the title track since ITZY’s Cherry…

I just wanted to bring the light on something that you mentioned. The reason they put Blue Flame and Impurities in this album is to complete yet another trilogy within their first "Book". Blue Flame, Impurities and now No-Return are songs that tell the story of Crimson Heart, a webtoon where LESSERAFIM are actually pictured as the main characters. If you are curious about the parallels, I advise you to watch Blue Flame MV+Behind the scenes, the Crimson Heart promotion videos and also check the webtoon.

I am sorry to share this news to you, PD, there is no live performance for Fire in the belly. A disappointment, I tell you.

hiss noise works (worked) on a lot of bts songs so they're a familliar name actually, and in the fandom (army) I have seen people straight up go "in hiss noise, pdogg we trust" (I may be forgetting names lol
