PHASE 2: RECRUITMENT - STREET TEAM (Patreon)
Content
This has been a long time coming (like I meant to do this in July) and I'm officially pulling the trigger on PHASE 2 of evolving FORM OF THERAPY.
This is an official calling out to anyone who wants to get involved...
So I'm recruiting for (temporarily naming it) a STREET TEAM.
The immediate goals are simple, the long term goals... Phew, we'll get to that in a bit.
THE STREET TEAM's purpose is to help keep the ECOSYSTEM of my YouTube and Patreon life, afloat. The tasks are simple.
- -Requests will be funneled through an official request system (currently being built on a website but I'm hoping to really figure out how to keep it all on Patreon). Sorting through requests, compiling the data, and delivering it to me!
- -Keeping up to date on K-Pop comebacks and debuts also within its own system.
I've always really wanted to build a community and I've tried to do it on my own and honestly that's just me being selfish. Movies aren't made by one person, it's a collaboration between people.
FORM OF THERAPY was always more of a think tank idea. I have to open it up. I'm however going to be incredibly strict because I don't want the ecosystem of all this work going down, ever.
I'm looking for people who can think on their feet, are fast, communicative, and passionate about K-Pop. Above all else, that's literally the MAIN thing I care about.
I've tried to have people in my life do this for me but no one did the work CORRECTLY, because no one did their work ENTHUSIASTICALLY, because they aren't passionate about K-Pop. To them it was such a chore to have to read up about comebacks and interviews, etc.
I think by now you all know how I feel about K-Pop and the hard work that goes into it and the good it does for the world. I'm looking for people who also believe in that idea! That K-Pop could really heal the world.
Besides that, the only requirements are:
-18 years older
-The job is remote so no location issues but MUST have access to a computer (laptop/desktop/etc.)
Most importantly, this is a paying gig.
Currently, I don't know how much because it'll depend on how many people we wish to take on. (This is not something you should take on looking for income) But know that this is a part time gig but you'll be compensated fairly and equally. We'll discuss it and come to an agreement!
But I have to make this clear:
While I won't object if you apply purely for work, I highly suggest that you don't. You don't have to be long term or you can be long term if you wish. All I care about is your passion for K-Pop. This is a job where K-Pop is basically your news, it's your music, your hobby--ya gotta love it or else you won't have the innate desire to seek out the information or work on your own.
*ALSO: If I return to livestreaming, street team members will have the option to be stream mods for additional pay as well.
Simply DM us on Patreon with the heading "STREET TEAM".
- Name
- Age
- Location
- And let us know what you're interested in, how you'd like to be a part of the team. (helping manage Patreon & YT comebacks and suggestions, long term projects, other ideas, etc.)

In Closing
Over the years many viewers have helped me passively and actively with various things. I was always extremely grateful but felt undeserving.
Being aware and conscious of my autism now did not help much, because I realize I'm still alone. Blaire does her best, but she's not enough because there's a lot that goes into my work. I need help.
I have always wanted to and fantasized about building a team. A collection of people from all across the globe working towards a common goal.
I learned the past few months that I deal with imposter syndrome everyday. It's really hard for me to feel happy. The moment I even think of filming, I think that I don't deserve to be here and nobody cares to see my videos and this sends me into an anxious down spiral. I feel like a narcissistic asshole for even having such grandiose ideas as building a "community" or making a "movie". Who am I to even dare to dream like this?
You know what always saves me? Filming. Just conquering my fears and my anxiety and doing it. And I feel so much more alive.
You guys want me to keep track of like a TON of groups?
Fine.
You guys want me to film for like a TON of groups?
Fine.
I can do it. No seriously. I love doing it truly and it's what I want.
But right now I'm basically treating myself like the on camera talent and the entire production crew and staff & writing team. That's... It's impossible and I'm admitting it.
But I love this. I fucking love this so much but all this extra technical sorting through hundreds of requests a week... It's way too much. I want to stop thinking about it so I can get back to basics. Back before when there WAS no Patreon and it was JUST filming and not worrying about EVERYTHING else.
For now, I just need a team to help me with managing the Patreon and YT requests, and that's all. I can just focus purely on filming and having time to work on my own personal projects.
Long Term Goals
Though I'll probably do it for a long time, if not forever, Reactions are not the end goals. In fact? I have too many goals!
- I want the street team to be able to establish some kind of foothold community in the K-Pop American space. I've had a few opportunities to open my own K-Pop store.
- I want to film a globe trotting K-Pop documentary series (this has been worked on with someone else involved but we need more hands)
- I want to film a variety series for a K-Pop group
- I want to produce my own K-drama
- I want to make an "American K-Drama"
- I want to make my own movie
- I want to make my own huge mega franchise
- I want to move to Korea. Specifically, I want to open up two offices in Seoul and Los Angeles. Honestly, I could have done it many years ago, multiple times, but there were many factors, one of which being that I wasn't ready in my heart.
- And so many others...
I'm still not. But I'll never be ready unless I've got a team by my side. I have literally scripts, outlines, piles of notebooks I've tossed out for ALL of these. My ideas never stop really and they never stopped during COVID... I just stopped talking about it until I could make them happen.
So even if you're not interested in the Patreon aspect of the street team, if you think you can help out in some way... Let's talk.
You want and can shoot something but don't have a script? Done. You have a script but no idea how to shoot it? Done. I'm a producer, this is how I operate. I can take care of a lot of heavy lifting in that department and I'm 100% open to collaborating on a project or open to collaborators on any one of my projects. (Mind you, I will be even more picky and strict about the people I choose to work on long term goals and I only have so much time, so I'll be careful with this process. Feel free to shoot your portfolio or work or resume)
And if you'd like to actually help directly and be a part of the FORM OF THERAPY crew?
Please know that relocating to SEOUL/LOS ANGELES would be a must AT SOME POINT in the future. Costs for the relocation would be handled by us! (being crew is directly working with me and for me on live projects, street team is about management, community, and remote work!)
For people who are interested in long term projects with me however must be a regularly communicative and active participant!

Sorry for the long read but I wanted to make sure to cover all my bases because this is the most important step for me and my brand. I'm really sick of not being able to handle all this on my own and just letting it always go out of control and loose. I'm forcing myself to get back into it and do it right.
Thank you for considering even supporting FOT, let alone helping or joining us, I appreciate you all and hope you enjoy your week~
