anitta x txt might be one of the best kpop collabs in history it just WORKS, on top of that their vmas performance together was amazing

I am happy for TXT to be able to work with Ryan Tedder from OneRepublic again because Ryan Tedder wrote and produced a song that sing super fire. I am happy TXT and Ryan Tedder gifted us 5 versions of Back For More. There is the Original version plus we also get a performance version, a version with just TXT and Yeonjun and HUENKAI singing Anitta’s parts, and we also are gifted two remixes. We have been given a House Remix and an Afrobeats Remix and all 5 versions slaps hard.

Anitta is a Brazilian singer (She is like Beyonce here in Brazil), she usually sings funk, pop, and reggaeton in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, the song you might have heard from her is Envolver, this song was number 1 in top 50 global on Spotify last year. She has won 2 VMAs in 2 consecutive years now making us Brazilians proud 😊🥹🔥

TXT did make some TikTok/insta reels together with the jobros- I do still wish they had been able to film the music video. Anitta and her fans have been so fun during this collab! They actually just uploaded the behind the scenes for it! I hope we get a recording behind too- we did for Do It Like That so I’m hopeful! This song became one of my favorites soooo fast. Your reaction was totally that of a MOA. Don’t be afraid to call yourself one 🥰

I've been listening to Do It Like That pretty much daily, but this was my first time hearing Back For More and oh my goodness was I blown away! They did absolutely amazing! Each dance move has such emphasis, their hairstyles look so good, and their VOCALS are jaw dropping. I'm not familiar with Anitta either, but wow is she amazing. I simply can't contain my feeling of how incredible everything about this song is.

to give some background info on anitta: she's a brazilian singer, composer, dancer, actress, entrepreneur (etc) who recently got a viral global hit with "envolver" just last year, which made it to #1 on spotify global. but she's been super known in brazil since basically forever, her first big hit here dating all the way back to 2013. the genre she mostly sings and basically represents is called "brazilian funk", which relies heavily on sensualization and usually contains very explicit sexual lyrics. the beat that's used on anitta's verse in this song is actually brazilian funk, i thought that was a nice way to blend her feature since that's pretty much her sound. although brazil's native language is portuguese, her recent music has expanded to being only in english or spanish in attempt for a more global reach. and it's been working out for her tbh, she's won "best latin music video" at the vmas for the 2nd year in a row now, going up against names such as bad bunny, rosalía and even shakira. in 2022, she was the first brazilian to ever win in this category and this year, 2023, she was the first brazilian ever to perform at the vmas (and with 2 separate performances too! one solo, and the other being "back for more" with txt, that performance also being txt's first at the vmas). it's safe to say she's been opening a lot of doors for brazilian music on a worldwide spectrum lately, i think she's definitely the most recognizable brazilian celebrity/artist/act globally at this current moment in time

It's crazy to me that ‘Back For More’ is only a B-side for their new album, I feel like this new album will take them to a whole new level. PD there is also a TXT version of their song and Kai's vocals in it >>>>>>> his growth as a performer is insane, I feel like he has matured the most this year. Plus seeing TXT and their friendship with Anitta has been so sweet. She's been leaving comments on their Instagram and TikTok and posting pics with them, saying she “misses her friends”. She even bought a whole bunch of Brazilian foods for them to try 🥹 and her fans have been so fun to collab with, they are amazing streamers and voters

Sometimes western collabs are really bad but seeing TXT collabs bring me a lot of happiness. Like Jonas brother was good but Anitta is just chefs 😘 . The MJ homage is also so good and done so neatly. I can't wait for their comeback

i love the comparison of taehyun and his vocals as boxing analogy bc taehyun actually does box and the motto that made him become a singer is from where he used to box 🥺 and as other people mentioned you should listen to the txt ver of back for more pd! you’ll definitely love the different section but i’m also curious to see what your reaction would be to it

I love the fact that it was Ryan Tedder who approached TXT and was the mastermind behind TXT and Jonas Brothers amazing collaboration. I'm rewatching this. Lol PD said "Soobin angry bunny came out"🤣. By the way, I love both songs. Do It Like That is more like like heart song that i cam groove while driving. I do agree with you, I wish the mv they shoot in same location because we can say all 8 of them dance & have fun together. As for Back For More, yup the whole songs & choreo is on another level. I was waiting for that 12/10 for Back for More. And yes, even though it's a collab, it showcases all of TXT's potential, and with Anitta's amazing part on top of it all. Anitta's presence also changes their image, makes them appear more mature and sexier. Aside from MJ, the song and their style and even some parts of the choreo kinda reminded me a also of TVXQ Mirotic, it was smooth and catchy like that.
