XG has a documentary series out about how the group was formed. I'd recommend checking it out if you end up becoming a fan of the group or want to see the process behind everything.

same, i would put new dance on my playlist but i love tgif just for the fact that it's dance music and has roots in vogueing. we don't get to see much of that. super shy by new jeans is one of my personal fav kpop spins on that genre

i know you said that xg isn’t really inspired or really sound like anyone BUT! xg is heavily inspired by a lot of black music! t.g.i.f is a homage to ballroom and vogue music cultivated in the lgbtq club scene that we created when we were pushed out of other lgbtq space for being you know brown!

I wish Kulture Studies dropped close to their corresponding releases like you used to do. There's probably a reason but reaction content is what got me to subscribe in the first place since i wanted to ride the high of the song release and would look forward to your among many others.

damn, i would never personally classify super shy as being in the 'vogueing'-type genre (as i dislike about 99% of them in k-pop), buuut if you're into that type of style i highly recommend who am i by weki meki! it's one of the few i actually really love
