For context, the duo name for ricky and hao is hariboz, which is why them not knowing haribo was so funny Also hao knows every single kpop choreo ever I swear Yujin is SO baby. Like the parasocial parenthood I feel over this kid is insane

There's actually only 2 episodes of this ZB1 Folder. Sad that most of their youtube contents were mostly behind the scenes. The other one was a special "Taerae Show in LA". There's one more Taerae Show shot in Japan (pre-debut) but it's not a consistent "program". As per Taerae, it's only a KCON Thing. One more variety content they went to during the In Bloom Era was on Myungsoo's show. Here's the link. ur comment about zb1 being so hybe coded is so real and maybe thats why im so connected/attached to them bc my ult has been bts for years and still is but now i also ult zb1. im a casual fan for txt, enha, newjeans, lesserafim, svt! I always felt like the hybe groups always had a connection that i dont see from many kpop groups so its hard for me to get into others but for zb1 i was instantly sold bc of their connection/chemistry!!

Great reaction, i was waiting for this 🥰🥰🥰 ZB1 folder was great to show their chemistry with each other and loved the film nerd rant 😂😂 These episodes were released a long time ago so i don’t remember how they were scheduled, but there were only the three episodes and the current content are little games and some behind the scenes videos. However, with the comeback on horizon of November i hope we get a second season🤞

i love this group so much this was so fun!!! i stan many groups and yes all groups are close but in my opinion i haven't seen a group this close aside from stray kids in awhile, it's really sweet to see!!! i also stan txt, enha, riize, nct etc and they are all insanely close too but its hard to describe the type of bond stray kids has which i also see in zb1 <3

also, not sure if you take requests or how that works but i know you really like boynextdoor and were curious ab their personalities so i highsly suggest you and blaire check out FUNNEXTDOOR which is a predebut show they did, only 6 episodes :)

There isn't much info on the schedule for these or the actual direction they want to take with them. I love the boys so much, so I'm crossing my fingers for a more established original variety!! Also if you are looking for more ZB1 content, they did 2 special episodes (of 2 parts each) titled Amazing Saturday Preparation before their appearance on the show. Seconding this! The first Taerae Show from KCON Japan would make a perfect prelude to ZB1 Folder Ep 2 which is another Taerae Show but in KCON LA.

Yay.. Finally. This was such fun. I watched it twice before already. The very first variety style content they shot as a group. It confirmed the chemistry they have as a group and we got to see a new side of them. Will PD be watching the SEVENTEEN comeback special GOSE episode when its released on the 18th??

"casually flamboyant" is such a good descriptor for taerae... on one hand he's just Some Dude with his diamond tier in valorant, can't even cook ramen, dresses (relatively) badly - but he's also such an amazing singer, passive aggressive and very feminine. There's a reason why him, woongki and seowon were considered a trio during bp!! The next episode is Taerae show in LA, but there's also an episode of Taerae show in Japan before that that you should definitely check out together with it as well <3

Agree, I really like mostly hybe groups because of the music but also their group connections almost always give me very good vibes, zb1 have amazing connection already and I'm loving it

The feeling i get while watching them is more like seeing both a group of really close friends and a group of influencers/content creators rather then idols. I have that same feeling with Stray Kids and Ateez as well (they like both groups so i can see where they got their behaviour from)

I think one of the things I like the most about them is how "authentic" they seem; Aside from ZB1 most of the groups I follow are older, so this may just reflect a general shift in the industry, but I feel like rather than always "presenting" themselves and being very media-trained, ZB1 seems unique in their unfiltered-ness. Like, Hanbin having to stop Gyuvin from hitting Ricky with a stool on Weekly Idol, Yujin's obvious dislike of being the cute one, Taerae being SO SASSY, and literally everything that comes out of Matthew's mouth all seem so genuine. Also, In addition to the ZB1 variety content I've seen requested above, Jiwoong and Gunwook were also on an episode of Knowing Bros along with Kep1er's Chaehyun and Xiaoting and Yerin (former GFRIEND).

Thanks to the reaction!! It's been a while since I saw ZB1 folders but I still enjoy a lot! PD you definitely need to check out knowing bros, Gunwook's rap was insane(he wrote the lyrics in 20 mins which is crazy), I'm sure that you'll enjoy it a lot!

Oh yeah, Jiwoong and Gunwook were on two parts of Knowing Bros and that was a pretty fun time! Chaehyun and Xiaoting from Kep1er were also there :) Just saw it recommended here and I have to second it

Its interesting that you think now that Hanbin would be the best leader for the group, but watching Boys Planet you were positive Hao would be the best leader. I would have thought they would have the whole co-leader thing going on just like in kep1er

Hao seemed like the best on BP but this is the weird thing I see now: Something I’ve talked about is there are two leader types: a normal leader and a wartime leader. A normal leader is just classic democratic leadership traits. Hearing everyone out, putting things to votes, etc. A wartime leader is basically when shit is stacked against you and you have no choice but to sacrifice having sleep for like 2-3 months. A wartime leader is someone who can lead people through the worst of it without their own mentality breaking. I see that Hao is now actually a wartime leader. It’s probably a mix of his IQ, his background, maybe even his nationality, and personality that makes him uniquely fitting for the job. He kept his cool like 99% of the time on BP and always whipped his team into shape. He also doesn’t mince words too much. Hanbin seems like the perfect leader if the group is happy. Given what I saw on BP, I think Hanbin is very empathetic and also has his own peaks and valleys that follow the group. So on BP, with the context and looming threat of elimination on the show, I think Hao led them best. Hanbin is better during promotional era I think.

I don't think someone said that before on here, but zerobaseone themselves actually like to remind us a lot that their contract is set to end at a specific time. They'd post something on twitter and then add at the end of the caption "let's cherish those 2years, 10months, 23 days, 8hours, 41 minutes and 5 seconds left together !". It's so bittersweet to stan and really be into a group when you know that they're not meant for the longevity aspect, but as they know it too, they want to make the best out of this period and i think that's where their authenticity comes from. I've been brainwashed into being reminded that they're a temporary group EVERYTIME I'd watch something from them or just listen to their music and then I'd get emotional, this is insane
