i was about to agree with you that this is svt's best solo but then i remembered hoshi's spider existed and now i can't choose. i like spider as a song more but the packaging for dino's wait feels so much more mature and refined. regardless, I LOVE THIS SO MUCH!! it makes me feel kinda emotional as a mansae era carat seeing him grow and mature into the performer he is today, it feels like just yesterday when he had that horrible haircut and was all bright eyed and had so much potential and now he's here. now that dino's solo debut is out i think the member whose solo debut i'm personally looking forward to the most in the future (if it happens) is wonwoo! on an unrelated note: i can totally see gunwook going down this route as a solo artist in the future

As a Dino bias/Dinonara since debut. I am very glad Dino got his solo, his potential has been untapped for the longest time in Seventeen. Really glad he finally got the recognition (both in and outside caratland) in recent years during like covid period. (It took over 5 years+..) He has gotten an OST, solo variety shows etc and I am glad.. Was always sad since it was hard for him to stand out in a group of 13 and his earlier era stuff did not do him justice.. Mansae and that horrendous haircut did not help him get fans.. Even as a dancer, in Caratland and outside Caratland.. He is often forgotten as a main dancer or amazing dancer as a whole.

Dino is the future of K-pop. He will have a breakout solo career

As a producer, I have seen how Dino can’t stand out as much. But I also saw what that did to him. As a producer, I loved seeing how every comeback he would come back more fierce and his solo dances too. I always knew he’d do incredible based on just “passive producing” observation but he pretty much confirmed it when he said he was studying acting on IN THE SOOP 1. I knew it was only a matter of time 😈 I understand what you mean by sad, and I’m sure he had tough moments but man I truly believe Dino could actually be the future of K-Pop. No small words. I truly believe all that time just allowed Dino time to bide his energy, SKILL UP, and shock everyone!!!!

Just before this, his OST for the drama Castaway Diva was released. The song is called Icarus and DAAAMN, he does A LOT of crazy sh*t with his vocals there. Been listening to it daily since it came out tbh. It showcased a color of his voice that we don't get often, very much melodical and feels so fresh and lovely (the closest thing that comes to mind are his vocals in Do Re Mi?) If this made you lose your cool, I'm sure you'll love that :3

PD let me know if im wrong, but have you ever posted your reaction to Bittersweet? If yes, I would love to check out that!

The overall reception of his solo has been underwhelming, I really can't understand why, he is soo talented, the song is fire, the MV is fire, his dancing is as fire as ever :( It kinda makes me sad but I seriously hope he'll manage to carve his way a bit more, he really deserves it !
